I love this fusion! Fragrances with kibbe. I got a good sense of the fragrances you described and some I know of so yes very accurate. Love to see more.
I got “like this” based on your description and it’s so lovely !! do agree it’s big SG energy! The scent is so fitting - I don’t get too much pumpkin but it’s very maple syrupy and cuddly. Bright and inviting
I'm a Flamboyant Gamine who loves spicy and sassy gourmand perfumes. Since I liked Hypnotic Poison at first whiff, I'll check out Lempicka. MFK BR 540 was definitely interesting but, not for me. I always thought Peony and Blush Suede was a nice perfume but, it felt like a safe buy. Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense blew me away instantly. Musc Noir Rose Narciso Rodriguez for her was also lovely.
As a soft gamine, I love "Like This." Now I'm even more intrigued by the other two. Also, I definitely agree that Peony and Blush Suede would suit soft classics. I would love a series on perfumes for the essences!
Ah yes, I'm glad you love it too! ELDO is such a fun, imaginative brand and I love their perfume descriptions. One day I will sniff Secretions Magnifique :P and yes, one on essences will for sure be a video!
Such a fun video, thank you. 💜 I'm a Soft Classic, here are four of my favourite parfums: "Montaigne" from Caron, "L'Heure Bleue" from Guerlain, "Vespri Esperidati Women" from Nobile 1942 and "Oppoponax" from Les Nereides. (Leo Sun, Pisces Moon, Virgo Venus, Cancer rising.)
@@thealignedlover 😊The old Guerlain Parfums are gorgeous. The first time I applied "Après L'Ondée" I nearly cried. 😆 "Jicky" is as well wonderful. They make you travel back in time to previous incarnations....
@@Flippinger Ugh I wish I could visit a library to smell the original formulas. I understand the "nearly crying" part totally. The olfactory impact can be so powerful.

I have to tell you how stoked I am to try out the fragrances you meantioned. They sound right up my alley. I had read about the perfume recommendations for my seasonal color palette and felt like "Uh no, those are the types of fragrances that give me headaches", and even though I was curious and found the scents nice, they didn't feel like me at all. The way you go about all this makes total sense to me and I am almost 100% sure I will love at least one of the three perfumes you meantioned for my Kibbe ID. So thank you for sharing your perspectives, they are very helpful. (I do have a fragrance I like and wear a lot, but I always feel like it's not THE perfect scent for me.)
This is such an interesting concept and you're pretty spot-on with the notes! I'm a SN and i recently bought perfumes that had elements of coconut, jasmine, and vanilla (Mugler Alien Goddess, SJP pure crush, and Versace Crystal Noir). I know crystal noir was a TR recommendation which makes sense in the way you described it, I do have some romantic essence so maybe that's why i enjoy it a lot. Thanks for a great video and for the recs!
Lovvveeee this! Two of my favorite subjects in one. I am a theatrical romantic and also have a romantic and dramatic essence. My fave perfume in the world is the noir 29. I feel like it is me and everything I want to be in a bottle! I also love Alien, Armani SI in the black bottle, and Equinox Bloom. I switch to those depending on my mood and outfit. I am excited to try your recommendations for soft dramatic and theatrical romantic.
yayy, i'm so glad my perfume obsession is being put to use 🙈 Ahh I love The Noir! It has a very distinct balance. Oooh Alien I adore on others, on me it turns to plastic meets animal haha. Si is gorgeous too. I have yet to smell Equinox bloom! And happy sniffing :)
@@thealignedlover Omg, so impossible to find it in the wild (love the intended pun, Nona)! After I watched your video, I looked at the department stores in my area…. no one has it anymore. Damn.

I'm an SN and I love the smell of Acqua DiGioia, Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche, and Clinique HappyHeart for fresh and sweet, but I do have some dramatic essence and my very favorite is Dior's discontinued Midnight Poison. Hi! Im a theatrical romantic (I think). My 2 favorites perfums are: for the day, the Versace Brigh crystal (is a little more soft that the noir one, so makes sense) and Flower bomb for the night. You are so right! love this video.
TR here, I LOVED the old Alien until they reformulated and ruined it :( Been trying to find a new scent ever since so thanks for the amazing suggestions! You put such thought into all your videos 💖

Perfume is one of my special interests. I love the book by Patrick Süskind and the movie based on it. Reading one of Dita Von Reese's books put me on to Scent and Subversion which is a thrilling gallery of perfume. I love videos like this one. Physical access to scents is difficult right now so I explore the interest in other ways. I'm noting scents to check out and I always perk up if it's implied a scent is moody/dark/dramatic/carnal etc. Leo rising Libra Venus so I've worn my fair share of sunny sparkling fragrances and smelled pretty for pretty's sake but Scorpio rising/intj doesn't want to paint the town red, she wants to paint it black. And of course Aqua moon is loath to smell like anybody else in the room 😂 (an ex once called me just to tell me they'd passed a woman in one of my signatures and they were so surprised they nearly couldn't believe it). I've said this before but I'll say it again: we're very lucky to have the volume of output and range/variety of ideas you play with. So much for us to enjoy here Thank you Nona ❤
Mugler fragrances (and garments) are definitely for the spicy haha! Very sexy LeeLo 5th element vibes! And I sooo wish I could smell Miroir des Majestes along with the rest of the Mirror Mirror line. Oooh Leo Libra performer and beauty queen perfumes are sooo the opposite of Scorpio/Aqua individualistic edgy energy. That means you need double the perfumes to round out your scent palette :P So glad you are loving the content and definitely inspired by you to make more :)
@@thealignedlover oops, just realised I gave myself two risings. Leo sun*. Yes, I do feel the desire to channel those different energies in distinct and still authentic ways. Having fun figuring it out. I blind bought my Miroir during the pandemic.
Fun idea for a topic! I don’t have a specific favorite perfume at this point but my favorite scents are citrus and vanilla. I think they go with the Naturals and Gamines but I think any of the types can wear them depending on the intensity or if it’s mixed . For example a citrus with some floral .
Now that I have tried all three fragrances, I have something so say about them. The Tom Ford Santal Blush reminds me of something I don't remember clearly (if that makes sense). It's a fragrance that makes me feel comforted and at ease. Also my mom said it reminds her of south France, so maybe that's it, I've been there once when I was three, so maybe yah... The BDK Gris Charnel is something different. It's deep and special, it has the type of depth I love and gives me some oomph. I like it a lot. But I can't quite tell what exactly it is, I need to use this fragrance more to figure this out. But it makes me feel amazing. The Kenzo Jungle [L'Elephant] to me is THE perfect fragrance. It might be so special that it feels weird to a lot of people and it definitely isn't for everybody, but I love it. And on my skin it smells way better and way different than on my clothes. I feel out of the three it is the most dramatic leaning fragrance though. It's also the most spicy one. And that's exactly what I love about it. It reminds me of those shops where you can buy all types of fresh herbs, spices and teas. It's lovely, but in a deeply nuanced way. Not for anyone who prefers a softly clean smell. But overall I like all three of them a lot. I've been looking for new fragrances that make me feel like myself and they are all great in terms of that. So yah, I think your interpretation of fragrances for the body types are very spot on and perfect. Your interpretations are very nuanced and specific and that makes it perfect. I do think you are very talented, really. Because this is something not everybody can do. Especially because I usually don't like the scent of rose in perfume but the Santal Blush rose nuance comes out on me a lot and I do love it very much in this case. It's calming and soothing and smells crazy good for my liking. Fun fact: When I was younger, I used to wear Hypnotic Poison a lot. And even though FG and DC are kind of opposing Kibbe IDs, they also have certain things in common. But while I still like HP, I am not feeling like it matches my grown up self that well anymore. I think when you're very young, you can appear like a different Kibbe ID and then maybe other things suit you nicely, while when you grow up and your body and mind are fully developed, it might not work that well anymore.
