As a TR, I can say that everything you said about us is 100% correct! I've also found that belts are my best friends. I can take any blah outfit/top that may be too boxy for me or shapeless, and by adding a belt, it instantly becomes perfect for my TR frame. Then I'll add jewelry (lush, ornate, sparkly pieces...NOT small ones that you need a magnifying glass to see!) and I can really catapult it into TR territory. By doing this, I feel "myself"...not overdressed or showy, just "myself". Once you know your kibbe body type, dressing becomes so much easier. Thanks again for your great videos, Nona. You're really nailing the body types.
Lovely video! Love your explanations and commentary. It's still tricky seeing the photos of TR versus SD but I think if it were in person, the size and differences could be more obvious. I look forward to the next video!
Thank you 🥰 My advice would be to go out to some crowded places and observe lots of different bodies so that you can kind of "cross reference" photos and in person observations and scaling :)
The kibbe system is starting to get a lot of media attention and is definitely resonating with people. I loved your concise and eloquent talk, great examples too.
@@thealignedlover Thank you too for your time and effort with these videos. We appreciate it! I hope in the future you may consider the wonderful Kate Bush as a subject. She is seeing a re-emergence recently, becoming culturly relevant after decades. Her style is eclectic through the 80s, she can look like a floaty ghost (Wuthering Heights video) or a shimmering warrior woman (Babooska video) or wear a masculine suit and pull it off. I'm really intrigued by her essence too.
@@thealignedlover that would be great to see! I am wondering could Kate be a theatrical romantic only because she is theatrical on stage and has romantic dreamy quality too. But would love your thoughts on her.
Nona I loooooooooove your videos my favourite things to watch ever better than netflix even. And you are always so accurate and specific and I need that to understand things and so grateful you typed me I love your typing description and my pinterest board. Thank you so much xoxoo
Love your channel!!! Thank you doing the seasonal colours for women of colour! God send! Now I know I am a soft dramatic (5'9") with bright spring colouring I find if the colour is not bright enough..I look grey or washed out in some way. ⚘️⚘️🌹🌹🌹 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💃🏾💯
By matter of elimination I’m putting myself into the soft dramatic category I’m over 5’7” but I really had 2 different body types before some body modifications in my early 20’s I wore petite size 6 top short arms small short hands no chest and a size 14 pants with long legs smaller ankles slender feet. No dresses for me! I bought pants that fit and mostly wore gamine style tops after having my baby I lost 50lbs and my hips got smaller a total of 73lbs and my bottom half down to 10-12 upper body 8-10, now able to wear a dress mostly. Bought boobs after nursing and tada 10-12 dress fits. Then got fat lol old age post menopause. Lost 40lbs recently now wear 16 on bottom and 1x-2x or 18 on top go figure I have long legs with short arms narrow wrists ankles so I guess soft dramatic but those clothes really aren’t completely perfect on me
For my future style profiles I definitely will, but in this intro series I'm only using verified celebrities and that unfortunately is a limited list diversity wise!

@@waterbearer4627 omg yessss amazing suggestion! I might have to do multiple videos on 80’s icons because their style was just so eclectic!
