Welcome back to my channel! In this captivating video, we're diving deep into the enchanting world of the Romantic Essence as part of our ongoing series on the McJimsey Style Types. Join me as we explore the characteristics, physical traits, and costuming suggestions that define the Romantic archetype.
Harriet McJimsey's philosophy highlights the importance of considering not only our physical attributes but also our expressive qualities when it comes to crafting our personal style. The Romantic Essence embodies delicacy, femininity, and a touch of theatricality, exuding an alluring and graceful charm. We'll unravel the influence of the Yin and Yang spectrum on the Romantic style and guide you in discovering your unique fashion persona.
In this video, we'll delve into the physical characteristics of the Romantic, from their average height to their slender yet rounded body shape. Explore their graceful posture, heart-shaped or slightly rounded face, and captivating eyes with long lashes. Discover the allure of their softly curved nose, full and curved mouth, and lustrous hair. We'll also explore their flirtatious expression, soft feminine voice, and slow, relaxed gestures that add to their overall romantic aura.
Join me as we explore the world of Romantic costuming, where we'll uncover the silhouette that emphasizes the bust and waistline, creating a timeless hourglass shape. From softly tailored garments with draped curves to delicate floral patterns, lace, and sheer fabrics, we'll unlock the secrets to capturing the Romantic's sensual and luxurious essence. Discover the textures and materials that enhance their body-skimming fluidity and create a plush sensuality.
We'll also delve into specific suggestions for necklines, tops, bottoms, shoes, and accessories that perfectly embody the Romantic style. From soft shaped collars and chiffon scarves to dainty bows and delicate jewelry, we'll explore the elements that make the Romantic style truly captivating.

Great analysis ❤
🥰🥰
can you be a Soft Dramatic, but with a Romantic essence in the McJimsey system? I tend to be more drawn to romantic and feminine styling than dramatic, linear, yang, etc... and if I do go that direction it's more life Femme Fatale.
Yes definitely :)
❤ Thank you Nona. I enjoyed this presentation and you're always a pleasure to listen to and watch.
I can't be the only one for whom your videos double as asmr for non-sleep relaxation purposes 😅
Can I have an ID for the green dress with ruffle shoulders at the 5 minute mark? Love it.
Nona I have seen use the word sculpted for example you said a "sculptured nose" what does that mean sharp???
Who is the woman in the lower left of the thumbnail? It kind of looks like Joan Rivers, but she can't possibly be romantic, right?
That would be Eva Gabor :)
I need a consultation with you
would love to work with you 🥰
I might’ve been a romantic before I lost 140 lbs. my body is kinda messed up and my bust is way tiny now , I am 39 breast fed a couple kids lol. If you have lots of cellulite does that mean you’re classic ? Romantic? Lolol 😅
Hey Jessi :) for kibbe, your body type stays the same regardless of weight gain or loss. It does not change with age either
