Very unique and amazing! What an imagination you have to be able to come up with something like this!
Stunning job...and the mom made me cry...ohh my heart! That Aquashella place is AMAZING! We don't have any stores or shows like that around here...I would never leave if we did! Thanks for sharing Lisa!!🐟🐠💗💗🎨
Stress less over the fumbling o fc words i do it to but I had it explained to me i was thinking of multiple ideas / things at once and while talking about one thing lines get a little crossed apparently it's often a creative side effect. Love your work
Beautiful artwork, everything's just coming to life before my eyes as you're painting.
Great video! Thank you for sharing your experience at Aquashella as well as your experience as an artist.
So Beautiful , I really enjoyed this ! 💖
I knew this looked familiar, lol. You did the same thing with the octopus crawling out of the painting. I love that painting within a painting concept. It must take a lot of patience to execute.
Great as always Lachri !
Thank you :D
Lisa, have you ever tried using a damp viva paper towel to erase any mistakes on canvas with a chalk pencil? It works great for me and allows for the chalk to be lifted completely off the canvas.
I am really enjoying your videos, you are so inspiring and I am learning a lot from you.
Seriously people? Who the hell would give her\this a thumbs down? 😡. Haters!
awww they loved the paintings....I need to start varnishing mine. Is that why they were so shiny? Gorgeous.
Love the originality of your work. Are you doing any more coloured pencils in the near future because I love that medium and what you do with them
Lisa, do you mix your acrylics with a palette knife or with a brush?
Watching mom and aunt receive their paintings was beautiful. What a good son and nephew.
Thanks for taking us around the aquarium convention. Was your booth in the video? Enjoy watching you do the painting too. Just love the way they pop out. Are you familiar with Tim O'Brien's work? He's an illustrator and he has a few illustrations that pop out of the frame too. His illustrations have been on the cover of Time magazine. I knew his mom, is why I'm mentioning him. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Hi Lisa,
Your paintings are stunning, I love them. Do you know if they have some kind of schedule calendar? I would love to go to one of these events. Thank you for sharing
Totally awesome and adorable.
I usually work in watercolours but just bought all the supplies for acrylics, Winsor and Newton as I am in the UK so going to try them. Just found you and have subscribed. Are all your patreon videos the same price $4 a month or are they in layers?
Luv it! 💙🐠💯
I must say... using a "wall paper" stencil IS a very artistic idea.
That insinuates that... like the hippies back in the 1960's, had the feeling (attitude) that literally ANY THING goes in the art world.
I grew up in that era of time, and I just couldn't quite wrap my head around that idea... it was just a little too "out of this world" for me.
But as time went by our world began to be able to see & understand just "where" the hippy artists were coming from... and became more and more accepted... I guess the same as IMPRESSIONIST painters, who were endeavoring to BROADEN the limitations of the art world.
Is it possible to do this without paint spraying equipment? I was thinking of joining patreon for the tutorials but this is the second video I have seen where spray equipment is used, how would I complete it without the sprayer?
Yes of course. If you are referring to the background you can always change it up or do it by hand although it would take more time than a template. If you are referring to the shadows or highlights you can do very diluted washes of paint and blend them well so it is subtle but you don't need airbrush equipment, there's always different techniques but the results can be the same
@@loati94 Thank you, maybe Lachri has a tutorial where she shows how to do that? I am referring to the shadow under the shelf and the water sunbeam ray type highlights in the ocean. I am completely new to painting, so I have no idea really.
@@Honey_Badger_xx The water highlights can be done by applying thin layers of white, not too pigmented so they don't cover the paint underneath and blending them with a soft brush to soften the edges. It's all about practice and patience and trying what is easier for you. And if you are still unsure Lisa has tons of different tutorials that don't use aibrush at all
@@loati94 thank you for explaining, so by thin layers you mean I would just thin the paint with water right? I really appreciate it. I'm enjoying these videos and want to try some!
Amanda there are many ways to do it, you could use pan pastels, you could dab watercolor or acrylic paint with a sponge over a stencil, that sort of thing.
Nice work 😍
Went to amazon to buy white transfer. Site says 2 pack but got 1pack . Did this twice. They say they’ll fix it.
Ok, I got mushy too!
Wow, stunning art, incredible skills, great tutorial 🍁 Greetings from Scotland 🍁 Big Like ❤️⁀˚⋆.‿❤️
