  • We start a brand new series today. Made back in mid 2008, Fringe follows Olivia Dunham FBI agent as she embarkes on a quest for answers to the wierd and strange cases known at the pattern with the help of a a scientist (Walter Bishop) and his son Peter. Ive heard nothing but good things about this series and it so reminds me of an updated version of the 'X-Files" Boy was i in for a shock with this opening fabulous pilot episode!
The pilot was a double episode, therefore this has been split into two seperate videos.
This is Part 2 of 2

So glad to see someone reacting to this fantastic show! If I told you (I won’t) where this is all going, you wouldn’t believe me. One of the best most surprising and inventive plots I’ve ever watched. And John Noble (Walter Bishop) should’ve won many acting awards cause he is flawless. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This is my favorite show of all...ALL. TIME. my father and I have watched and re-watched this entire show for the past 7+ years. I, myself, was in an institution when it was on air and I had no knowledge of anything that happened in the world for the 2 years I was there. This was already off the air by the time I stumbled across a synopsis online and the rest is history! “Olive” (😊😉) is literally my all-time favorite hero I’ve seen on TV. Or anywhere.
The way this show develops.... you’re right! How amazing all the writers are.

    That last scene: "Question Him"
Go back and re-watch the scene where Walter and Peter discuss the brain connection again.
    Peter even made the joke:
"Yeah, because after 6 hours, they're really dead."

John Noble is amazing in this show. I came for Josh Jackson and stayed for Walter Bishop, what a fun and inventive character.

I was brought to your channel today after a different reactor had a vote about what to do next, and Fringe was an option & I stated I'd never really seen anyone do one.... and someone sent me the link to part 1 of 1x01. Just want to say thank you. Definitely gives me something to watch for a little while. Easily one of my top 5 favorite shows ever.

The John Scott twist was SO well done. Still gives me chills all these years and views later. Great writing and editing. And like you, I don't think anybody saw it coming.

fun fact the symbols you see between episodes (in this episode it is barfly, leaf, hand, apple, frog, hand, apple and frog) are actually letters of the alphabet that in order of show get together in a certain word. (its never explained in the show its more like an easter egg). and this episode word was "observer"
also since you alredy watched episode 4 and you know what an observer is there is another easter egg. in every episode you of the show you can see observer watching and in this episode you can see one right outside of the massive dynamic building in new York

I stumbled upon your videos by chance; and I’m so glad you’re discovering Fringe. It’s one of my alltime favorite television shows. I never got into The X-Files but fell in love with Fringe straight off. While Season 1 is more procedural [freak-of-the-week]- the show evolves into more serialized storytelling with subsequent seasons.
    Enjoy! 🤗

One of my top 5 shows of all time! Yay! Your almost at the end so it’s the perfect time for me to watch your journey lol. If anyone else want to see someone else reacting to this amazing show, head over to Jimmy Macram’s reactions, he’s already finished it, but I don’t think it’s all available on YT yet, only his Patreon.

I can't believe that my favorite show of all time was shot about 15 min from where I live and 1 of the places I work ( not the mental institution! haha ). I even tell the people working there that they have filmed Fringe there and they don't believe me

4:45 WE ARE IMPRESSED. This Brain Trust - Concept is one of the dangling ideas never taken farther in the show. Some fans claim that FRINGE is a smooth very well worked out show without any daed ends. BUT this one was such an experimental, blind strange in the show that never let to something. Same with Peter´s Mobster connection when he becomes photographed in the bar and later on warned by his old flame to leave Boston forever and never to come back for his own safety.
You could say the developers really played here to much around with ideas and concepts which came to nothing
Was a bit frustrating to watch because back the first time we viewers had taken it for full value. Nowdays watching my FRINGE DVDs I just ignore those parts.

And also Walter Bishop is the best character in this show even if my favourite gonna appear later in season 3. Fringe is about characters in first place and you'll see how well most of this kids played and written.

    spoiler alert
the one episode where the guy sees future to commit crime, that was so good, my jaw was dropped throughout...i think that takes place in "another earth" with our earth Olivia.
also the series finale (or near ending i guess) where they jump from Earth 1 to 2 to 1 to get to another place on same earth was so good my mind blowing had been blown....😱
