Well my love for the martins, especially John. Will never die. Spent my whole childhood at Millville, John would let us build forts, bike tracks, sledding hills all year. The Martin family will always be the MAIN reason I love moto and the track. I still remember John driving by in his tractor and yelling “shovels are by the 50 track If you want them” Thinking he would be mad we were making some petal bike jumps in the hills. What a childhood… all because of the martins love for moto.
I totally understand what Jeremy is going through. You can only take so many injuries. I broke my back and my pelvis and it took me a year to get my feedback. Now I’m just a local 458 scrub but I love racing and it’s hard to picture quitting ever. My back tells me a different story. I’ll have bad days where I can’t get out of bed. I can only imagine when I’m 50 years old I’ll probably have to have several more surgeries. But blasting your noggin off the ground knocking you out cold is a whole different story. I hope everything goes great for Jeremy one of my favourite 250 riders of all time and he’s homies with Eli Tomac, who was another result oriented guy race and win and that’s all.
Thanks Swap for that one. Great to hear from Jeremy, I was always a huge fan boy because of his work ethic and lack of desire for the media I guess. Hard to put my finger on it. I grew up in farm country. Had to work for every little thing. Got into racing finally at 15. No $ from Mom and Dad. Not complaining. I love how I grew up. Anyways those boys are as hard working as it gets. Great respect.
Hard not to show some love to the Martin brothers there great. I’ll never forget being at Millville a few years back and Jmart and Df#14 were going at it lap after lap it was unbelievable to watch in person the Yamaha would pull out up the hills with DF. Than Jmart would real him back in on the other parts of the track. It was a battle

You know the fire is gone when a rider gets tired of waking up injured everyday and when you experience fear while riding. Once the fear creeps in while riding it's pretty much over. 😢
I can understand from these two about not riding. I have not ridden in close to a decade. I had lost the love for riding through the years, I’ve had injuries and a back surgery. I have been a faithful fan of this sport for fifty years. The fire in me started to burn again to ride recently, now in my early sixties I have to decided to give it a go again this year and have some fun just riding on the weekends with my vet rider friends, no racing. I also think getting on a four stroke for the first time after being on two strokes only, will be new and fresh start. My new go to bike for 2025 is a CRF250RWE.
Nice little story and I know there a are a lot guys like that lost the love for riding. But at one special moment it is possible to return. Wish you all the best with the little red!
Know the feeling well 65 years old had the best last three seasons riding and racing. But this year got hurt bad on June 8th/ 24 8 days in ICU 34 total days in hospital. Missing it bad but also wondering a lot how hard will I be able to go🥺 Will be back on bike end of May almost a full year off
When I see one of the Martin Bros doing podcasts or interviews, I'm all in. Holy-o-fuck, I was out twenty minutes into this one. Two minutes of interview and 18 minutes of commercials. I'm being somewhat facetious here but not by much. Do better.

Such a great interview😊
Great show. Two great people in the sport.
Good stuff as always!
Didn’t know 6D was updated. My old 6D looks tired.
I’ll check out the new one.
You really should; the technology is much updated, it’s super light, and comfortable.
Hope he gets to enjoy riding again but can understand, fan of the Martins and miss Troll in the sport 🙏
A warrior.
I’ve seen multiple friends become more social and have a slight personality change after TBI
