This song is actually by Neal Morse (not Dream Theater) from his album “One”. I highly recommend checking out all of his albums in which Mike plays drums on all of them.
I’m a huge MP fan… my favorite drummer, but that intro was a complete snooze-fest. Sure, sometimes less is more, but that intro… I was just looking forward to it ending. If they had done it for just a couple of measures it would’ve been cool. That being said… the rest of the song is fire. Like you said, the end is ridiculous. Great reaction!

Oh dude! Thanks so much. My thumbnails a lil off then 😅😅😅
The song is from Neal Morse's album "One" (2004)
His cymbal work is so freakin awesome. So tasty with all stacks, splashes, little trinkets and whatnot. And when he cuts loose, guy is a BEAST!
興農牛!!
Mike wore a former Taiwanes baseball league team jersey. That's cool😂
Fir more of these duet or duel Solis between his drums and guitars check Constant motion from his original band Dream theater
There's a typo in the title... it's "author"

Thank you! Yeah… let’s just call that intro a warm up exercise 😅
