The best use of social media is to be accountable, to show your trades whether good, bad or ugly. To explain the how , why, what the heck I was thinking! Analyse each one so you can learn, reflect and look back at the disturbing process which unfolded. That is an invaluable practice which we viewers don't have.
This is so relatable. I recently opened an account with $1300. I got it up to over $2000 in 2 weeks. Now I'm down to $1200. What I learnt. Don't trade premarket, don't trade Japan. Don't trade as soon as the market opens (wait for direction)...I got burnt entering too early a couple of times. Now I will only trade 1-2 times a day.
Hi Maff. Sorry about your lose mate but I agree it’s a well learnt lesson. Really appreciate your honesty and for sharing your experience with us. Somehow I know 100% you will make that money back and more over time. Thank you for another high quality video I do enjoy them so much. Wishing you all the best.
This all sounds very familiar and I have the T shirt somewhere in my wardrobe. Changing strategy and changing brokers unfortunately didnt work for me. What seems to work is not trading pre market, definitely staying away from the FTSE and trying to keep to five days five trades five greens a week. The discipline is the hardest part its tremendously hard to walk away from the screen once youve made a small green trade.Im sure you will claw back into profit within time and I wish you the best of luck. Lets work together and get rich slow. Good Luck and keep the videos coming we love your honesty.
Sorry that happened Maff… Your making great videos…. Your very good at self reflection, you take responsibility and accountability….Growth mindset!!! This will get you there…. I’m 14 months and still making the same mistakes and without the wins you’ve had - Sambora and Monopoly student
I feel you man. I turned $700 into 13.5k in my first week 100% win rate. Put the whole 13.5k on a trade with no sl at the end of the week expecting to be a millionaire and lost it all.
Woah!! That's an incredible win rate, especially in your first week! I understand the temptation to take that risk too, but man if you can be that successful so quickly, you'll have no problem with success in the future, especially after learning this most valuable lesson. Best of luck to you!
I think your on the right track with the stop loss. It makes you have more emphasis on the entry point. How often do we predict the trend but get stopped out by a bad entry point.
I stopped using the DowJones as its started to behave differently. Even on the 8hr chart which I use the price is sparadic. I now use a FX chart (not saying which one) as its very smooth.
Big respect for sharing. Top man. Market is a bigger beast than any human. Punch 👊 it. Kick 🦵it and run 🏃♂️ Hope you get back those profits 🤟 I'm sure u will 🙂

True, though I feel much less stressed now I’m trading with a stop, knowing exactly how much I’m prepared to lose rather than taking on big losses
