    there are 2 videos that i have that will explain R. first, watch "ideal gas law introduction." that talks a lot about R. then, you can watch "ideal gas law: where did R come from?" to learn more about R. let me know if you have any more questions

    I have watched so many of your lectures! You are a god sent. Thank you so much for your easy to understand explanations. My university chem teachers just throw equations at me without explaining the concept. I hope you do tutes for advanced biochemistry, otherwise I'm screwed!!!

Based on the fact that I was an A student in Chemistry in high school back in 2009 I decided to take a Accelerated 5 week Chem course in collage and I have been so lost,stressed and feeling utterly defeated.     Easier to count n, is: n=m/M
    n= mol
    m= mass (g)
    M= molar mass

    How the R value 0.082l atm÷mol×k is written .

    I believe the answer to the first question is 5.887391L or 5.9L, not 6.08L. Also shouldn't it be 2 sig figs due to 2 sig figs for celsius?

    Do every gas have different particle size? If yes then do number of moles filling the volume also differs?

    Good that you consider significant figures. I remember a prof of quaternary geology doing sieve analysis of glacial sediments and the fraction was 3 oz (measured on a cheap kitchen scales) out of a total sample of 17 oz, so only two significant figures. His result? - 29.412%. Giving a precision the sampling method was just not capable of. I said "30% is more reasonable", but I was only an undergraduate and ignored!

    Question... At 3:55 why did you do all the multiplication then the division, I was taught that I was supposed to do the multiplication over the 1.20 then do the division, then the other multiplication.... if that makes any sense... why did you do it the other way?
