From Boyle's law to Charles' Law and to the Combined Gas Equation, how do you know which equation to choose? We'll talk about that, and also how to figure out which variables should be T1, or P2, or V1, and so forth.
internet has taught me more than my teachers do
Kai The fact that you willingly tried to learn instead of being forced to learn in school also helps
Said every student since the creation of RUclips.
Kai did you hear about the 8 year old who learned how to drive just to get a McDonalds burger? Lol! It's true! Kind of unrelated but yes! The internet is amazing!
He claims he learned through RUclips :'p
arlene macias did you hear about the sponge that leaned how to drive a hamburger?
You have two choices. You can either memorize each gas law, or you can use the strategy I talk about about "Be Lazy, Don't Memorize the Gas Laws." But the point is, you can't just pull the gas law out of thin air, you'll need to either have memorized it or have a strategy for coming up with it.
Why college have soo much of long course
Or you could just memorize the combined gas law and remove variables when necessary, since all the formulas except the ideal gas law are derived from it.
Or you can use the formula sheet provided 🤭
I swear! I am passing my chem class thanks to you Mr Tyler. Thank you so much. God bless your heart and brain.
kween410 even me
From one generation to the next, this man is helping students even years into the future, namely myself
you just don't realize the impact of your videos, you helped many lives around the world just like me..thanks for that..
This guy single-handedly carried my chemistry grade this year. He taught me 100x more than my teacher did.
youre better than khan academy
khan academy sucks in my opinion.
Khan Academy goes too fast
I agree, he talks a lot of unnecessary stuff
And he makes a lot of mistakes, you can tell he's not a chemist.
Well no one is perfect
the way u make ur question mark at 3:56 boggles my mind.
Sean 007 wow sean 007
ima be honest with you, i haven't kept up with my online classes because of quarantine. This video let me understand this portion of the unit.

u saved my chemistry exam.......thanks
You Sir, are one piece of awesome!
oh my god you are my savior. seriously. my teacher doesnt teach anything and i was getting so behind! please dont stop making these videos. please.
It took my teacher approximately 2 hours to explain what you did in 12 minutes.... Not to mention her emphasizing that we memorize the different formulas.
YOUR AMAZING, Thank you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I CANT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THIS HELPED ME
You're so clean. Straight to the point no more blabbering, pure learning good job sir i owe you bigtime
Your videos are always relevant to me. I can always find what I need!
I don't understand what you mean by "show the final product," but if you need to see how to actually solve the equations, I have a separate video for every gas equation. Setting up and solving each equation here would have made the video much too long.
This video literally just saved my life! Chemistry final tomorrow and i finally understand this!
ever since I enrolled chem, the very first time I saw your video, I kept going back to your own videos and did not bother to check out others. So helpful and easy to understand! You`re the best!
I absolutely love this dude! He has helped me all semester long! Such a great teacher. His tone of voice and slow speed when talking is an extra plus!!
Just wanted to say thanks for making all these videos! I have always struggled with chem but your videos make it feel easy:)
Thank you so much for your work on these videos. You bring a lot of clarity to the subject and the way you set up problems is very helpful. Thanks!
I just wanted to say that I seriously appreciate all of your help. Also the way you write your question marks is pretty cool.
I can't thank you enough. I started watching your videos from the molecular geometry and You basically explained all of chapter 10 (Gas) in these videos PERFECTLY!
These videos helped me so much throughout high school!! bless your soul
You're awesome. I always use your videos to study for chem finals now, and I subscribed! I'm in my second semester of college chemistry and it used to be such a struggle
I know I'm 5yrs late, however, I'm taking chemistry over a 6 week summer session and I can honestly say, this video just changed everything. Thank you so much for this.
We really appreciate the effort you put in these videos. Using normal paper and black pen helps a lot!
Thank you so much for the chemistry help! The way you work out all your problems is so helpful
Never before heard this explained so easily. Great video! Thanks for posting.
No exaggeration when I tell you I now understand this, and PV=nRT which I also watched from you made me understand this part of chem in a couple hours then my professor trying to "teach" it in 3 weeks. You're amazing, and very clear with what you try to explain. Keep doing what you're doing man you got yourself another subscriber.
I appreciate your simple ways of explaining the topics.
I wish that you were my chem professor! Thank you so much :)
Wow, I just understood this more than my professor or my TA could ever explain it. I have a quiz tomorrow and I’ll be reviewing your other videos as well, thank you.
I really hope you became a Chemistry teacher! You have no idea how helpful you are!
Thanks for your time and help.
I just learned so much more then I have the whole spring semester, wow! Thank You Tyler
You have helped me more than my teachers at school in college every time you explain everything its like magic. Thank You!!!!
I have never found a video so precisely and thoroughly explained, thank you so very much.
Thanks so much! My professor tends to skip over important information, then wonders why everyone does badly, so your videos have taken a lot of the stress out of trying to figure these concepts out. Thanks again. You are awesome.
I love how you explain things, so coherent and just make more sense than how my teacher explains. thank you! now I feel more ready to take my exam :))))
Your videos helped me pass chemistry!!! Forever thankful
Man, this guy was better at teaching in one video than my chemistry teacher throughout the entire year. Extremely helpful.
Chemistry has become my favorite subject just because of your lessons...Thanks alot TD

One of the greatest chemistry tuitor i have ever met
I wanna thank you a lot, sir! This made me understand more on what equations I should use when problem solving.
You are extremely good and so very methodical. The world needs more people like you in the teaching arenaThank you.
You always brighten up my days
You are the best chemistry teacher i ever met
Thank you so much bro!! Im actually advance studying on our chem lessons with the help of your tutorials!
Thank you so much for this video! I finally understand what to think about and what to use using your concept of change.
Definitely appreciate what you do! Thanks for the additional instruction!!!
I have a great teacher, but he took this lesson VERY quickly. We started the chapter on a Thursday, practiced on Monday and Wednesday, and now we have a test tomorrow, Friday. This speed sort of left me in the dust and I was REALLY struggling to even begin these equations (especially with the college level wording of my book). After watching this video, I feel much more comfortable with these problems, since it's simple algebra from where you left off. Thanks for this video, it was such a help!!
Thanks for the tip! It's been a while since I took general chemistry and needed this to catch up lol. Thank you so much my guy!
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS MAN!!! THEY HELP SOOO MUCH!! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!
Thank you so much Tyler! Because of you, I have hope of passing the chemistry exam. God bless you!

Thank god for you, chemistry doesn't come easy to me, meaning I don't usually get that "oh that make sense" thought in my head, but you made that happen! Thank you!
Your videos are very helpful. For example I didn't know that a constant had to be ignored when solving for a variable. Gracias!!
