I’ve been a big of you for years on LinkedIn & was so glad to find you on RUclips! I’ve watched your entire masterclass on how to get a job & nail interviews. I spent one week applying for jobs left and right. I heard back within 2-3 days from my “dream job” that would literally double my income. I spent an entire day watching your videos, taking notes, and doing research into the organization I had an initial interview with. I prayed before each step in the process and I went through each step at peace and knowing it was going to be mine (thanks to your advice! I’m usually a nervous wreck) I was moved on to the second round the following day & I was excited! I went back to my notes from your masterclass and started fine tuning my responses to some interview questions & started practicing what I was going to say out loud. I left that second interview confident that I nailed it! Just a few days later I was sitting in a 3rd interview with the CEO. Within the first 2 minutes of the conversation he says “this is really an informal interview… we’re just having a conversation so I can get to know you. Anybody who comes as highly recommended as you from (name) & (name) is in the door. So tell me about yourself.” I’ve never been so excited and prepared to tell him about myself! My skills, my background, and what I can bring to the company. I received my offer letter the NEXT MORNING!!!!!!! Thank you Brigette. Although I had the skills and background for this job, you gave me the knowledge and confidence to apply for my dream job, nail the interviews, and get hired FAST!!!!
I've was just in a situation while during the interview, the interviewer asked me a question I was not prepared for. I asked her to repeat the question and used that time to gather myself and nailed the question!

@@lizethalvarez9710 I did not get the position at work. I did ask for suggestions for next time and was told that I did very well and should do the exact same thing and continue to apply as new opportunities arise. It was a very competitive role where over 100 employees applied in 2 days.
Very good points. I think the problem with many of us, we do not learn these techniques as we go along, we try to cram in the information just before an interview and sometimes get confused.

I listened, prepared, went on the interview and got hired. I was so nervous as I had not been on an interview in over 27 years!!! I've had a 'temp' job for 1 year and a half now so I have been interviewing for other roles and it's been a challenge to find time and get in the right mindset to prepare and research but you're absolutely right when you say that research is a huge part of it. If I may add something - companies don't want you to know only the product/contents they're selling - I had a question that caught me off guard that was ''How is company X funded?'" and I must admit I was at a loss!

Bridgette I found that interviewers have been judgemental when they see that I have mostly contract job positions, after the recession it has been so hard to find permanent employment.
