This was awesome! I’ve never seen the process before. I’ve got a couple questions. How long did that take? On average how many hours are spent working on the airframe per hour of flight? What was each thing you were checking? I’m sure there’s some cool stuff in those compartments. Can you give a “pimp my ride” type commentary on this? Keep posting brother, I love this glimpse into the life of an Apache helicopter pilot.
Flew Cobras out of Casey I think 1983 then transitioned to Apaches at Ft Hood. First class. A model of course. First class out of mother rucker. The cockpit is exactly what they were predicting for the future then. We thought the A model was trippy. That thing looks like fun. Thanks for the memories.
I know this is super late, but the junior/co-pilot will sit in the front while the PC (Pilot in Command) will sit in the rear seat and will do most if not all the actual flying.
I was born in korea and now im 15R SPC, can’t wait to put my flight packet and be able to fly in korea in 2 years.
Thank you for making this video sir, I am able to visualize more clearly.
I grew up near FT Hood Tx in (Copperas Cove) and I was always fascinated and loved seeing the Apaches.
