Got some expert level locations for you guys. Restroom Shooting Range Corporate Office Throne Room Tank McDonald's / Fast Food Restaurant Freight Train IT Department / Helpdesk Amputee Physiotherapy Center Comic Book Server Room Nuclear Silo Fire Station
Lol Restroom and tank... I love the idea of a really small room for spyfall. I had elevator in my list and also toy box. Also I think there should be more moving locations
I made my own version of Spyfall from scratch and “RUclipsr Studio” is one of the locations. The roles reference Corridor stuff. Check it out here: devious.games
Movie-themed: The shire The continental Death star Hogwarts Bat cave Asgard The hunger games arena Jurassic park Stark tower Mobil avenue station Eywa tree of souls
One of my favorite series on RUclips and can't wait for more. Also, a lot of others and I agree that the couch format is lot better. Some of my location ideas: Airplane - Pilot, Co-Pilot, Flight Attendant, Scared Passenger Modern Art Gallery - Pompous/Arrogant Guest, Confused Guest, "Artist" Some natural park or location (Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls) Tourist, Eager Stuntman, Geologist
cemetery morgue mummy's tomb active warzone botched bank robbery maximum security prison insane asylum African safari underground fight club I can imagine the special roles 'CORPSE' and 'MANIAC' at every single location
Have you ever played reverse spyfall? (Also known as insider) only 1 guy knows the location/term and all guys ask the game master question. The game master has to answer yes or no and guess who the insider is. The insider wins if game master guesses incorrectly or time runs out. Gamemaster wins if he guesses the spy correctly. The remaining player + game master win if the term is correctly deduced.
Just to spitball a few ideas; Military Base, Luxury Yacht, Boxing Match, Presidential Debate, News Station, County Jail, Parade, Night Club, Courtroom, Palace, etc. Generic roles could include "guard", "officer", "prisoner", "press", with slight variants for each location. While the format is a nice change of pace, others might opt for the homey feel that the couch gives. Personally, I believe a bit of the substance behind Spyfall is lost with heavy RP. It tends to make it much more easy for the Spy to learn the location, seen in this example. On the other hand, the cat and mouse of vague questioning to determine their knowledge of the location, while hopefully not revealing it, makes for much more interesting play. Always excited to see new content from Node, especially games as fun as these! Please, keep up the great content!
When Jake asked Clint if they have gas stations in West Virginia and he said no, I was certain Clint was the spy. I'm from WV, we have gas stations literally everywhere. Maybe more than any other state I've been to hahaha
1. On a real battlefield 2. Playing call of duty (or battle game) 3. Airsoft field 4. In a movie 5. Playing with toy soldiers 6. Police fire fight 7. Zombie apocalypse 8. Alien invasion 9. Hell literally broke loose
I really do love when you play this game, but something about it now is missing that original spark. Along with everyone else, I will say that the couch setting was much better; it felt more organic. Also, the voices and characters are unnecessary. They don't add anything to the game and serve as a distraction for subpar questions. What made the old videos great was your imaginations and the level of deception you were all willing to reach for. It feels like the game is secondary to the production now, as before it felt like we were just watching a bunch of friends try to outsmart eachother. Also, I understand time restraints and schedules differ, but having Brandon in these games is like that extra pinch of salt that makes a recipe perfect. Lose the mics and the characters. Let it be organic again. We all love these videos. I wouldn't have commented if I didn't care.
Didn't that coalmine/gas station metaplay count as smart play? And honestly i like the roleplay, after you play a game for so long, the creativity shifts from competitiveness to making things fun regardless of the outcome.
I personally like this format better. The biggest thing that bothered me in older videos was the fact that they, for the most part, completely ignored the roles. I think that they can still keep that "original spark" while also adding changes. Leveling the playing field with new locations is a good step to getting to that happy middle ground. It will allow them more wiggle room when coming up with clever questions in character so they aren't constantly afraid of giving it away. While I disagree with you on role playing I 100% support the extremely respectful and well written way in which you expressed your critiques.
Army Base Aircraft Carrier B-17 Bomber Tank American Legion Veterans' Home Missile Silo CIA/FBI Headquarters I went for a military sorta theme here, that are distinct but have a lotta overlap with characters/situations. Should be challenging.
I've actually been wanting to suggest this since you played GOT Spyfall. How about Lord of the Rings / Hobbit locations? The Shire Bree Rivendell Moria Lothlorien Rohan Fangorn Gondor Isengard Mordor Erebor Dale
I suggest: - The Corridor office (where you guys have to pretend to be someone else in the crew or a friend of the crew, like Wren, Brett, Brandon, Freddie, Christian, etc) - College/University campus - Gym - Movie Theater - Movie/Film set - Elementary, middle or high school - Hogwarts (where someone represents each House and you have to guess who's in what House) - Movies (like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, John Wick, Matrix, Marvel, etc) I enjoy these videos! It's entertaining how seriously you all take it and I love the idea of custom locations.
Some similarly themed ideas (they aren't all similar to each other, just groups of them): - Renaissance Faire -Pirate Ship -Comic Con -Victorian Era Asylum -Victorian Era traveling Side show -Haunted House Attraction -Haunted Corn Maze

Theatre, museum, cinema, playground, bowling alley, dance hall. At each you can have the owner, cleaner, visitor, professional (actor, curator, dancer etc) and the SPY.
1. dungeon - maniac, adventurer, random romance target C, prisoner, masochist - (good because ppl will think of different kinds of "dungeon" based on their role) 2. 'Murica - Texan gunnut, user of 12-hour clock format and imperial system, hill-billy, red-/brown-coat, maniac - (good because you can exaggarate the roles easily) 3. Space - Personality core that likes space, starship captain, kerbal, maniac, red-/brown-coat - (good because its almost impossible to not give away location) 4. The movie/book * - Character C of your choice, an Antagonist, maniac (that thinks the real world is said movie), viewer/reader that was sucked into the story midway in, unnamed background character - (Good for pop-culture references, and that the movie could easily be replaced with any movie/book for a movie/book-themed video) 5. Your office - Wren, Maniac, D, Yourself, Wren - (Good because it would be fun to see what happens. And the roles can easily be randomized anew between each game) 6. School - Maniac, Zombie, Batman, A (badly) undercover alien, Second batman. - (good because while the location is a classic, the roles dont fit.) 7. You woke up in your bed as tiny as a fairy - Yourself, A shounen protagonist, A fairy/brownie/other kind of tiny fey/smallfolk, Napoleon, maniac(preferably crazy catlady) - (good because its not a locaton per-say) 8. Exactly where you are, playing this game, but with the location being airsoft arena - Yourself, The person to your right, The person to your left, Maniac, Wren - (Probably not good, but asking us for eight locations is a stretch, and it might be fun to watch this play out)
I think the reason why they're doing Spyfall in the Corridor Cast office is because I believe Stress Level Zero works near the couch where they usually hang out and they're hard at work with Boneworks. I guess that's why the most recent videos of Node are always outside of their usual office.

*▬▬▬ Top secret location idea list (30 items) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬* • Space station • The moon • Space shuttle • Underground science lab • Military base • Top secret watertight deep-ocean base; underwater base • The office, or an office • A basement under a house • Hospital waiting room • ER waiting room in Vietnam during the war with loads of victims rushing into the ER for treatment • Cabin deep in the forest • Creepy attic; dark attic • Meat freezer, or meat processing facility • Police station briefing room • Motor vehicle factory • Machine shop • Mechanic garage • Abandoned warehouse • Multi-level car park • Limbo • Graveyard • High school; secondary school building • Jury room • High security hazardous chemical plant, or hazardous material disposal site • Nuclear reactor control room • Horse stable • Farm or farmhouse • Lighthouse • International airport • Television station building/recording room I spent quite some time creating this list.
We made a makeshift game and here are some of the ones we used including roles! Death Star - Roles: Jedi, Sith, Admiral, Storm Trooper, Rebel Spy, Red Leader, Blue Leader, General Hogwarts - Roles: Student, House Elf, Professor, Grounds Keeper, Mythical Creature, Headmaster/mistress, Ministry Official Avengers Tower - Roles: Iron-Man, Captain America, Thor, Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye TV Show Crew - Roles: Actor/Actress, Director, AD, DP, Production Assistant(s), Crafty, Stuntman, Coordinator Monarchy - Roles: King, Queen, Prime Minister, Butler, Nanny, Royal baby (I know it's weird one, but it's hilarious when you add in role play)
Really specific Locations 1. Thanksgiving dinner with waspy inlaws 2. Waiting In a really long line at a waterpark. 3. A restaurant where the couple beside your table is breaking up. 4.a coffee shop where the barista has spelt your name wrong on your coffee
One with a huge list that is all related that will screwball everyone, WWII locations. Normandy Beach, Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, Kursk, Dunkirk, Paris, Berlin, Stalingrad, etc. You could even do infamous vehicles. The deck of the USS Juneau, deck of the USS Arizona, crewing Enola Gay, the M-10 that Audie Murphie used in his stand, the deck of the KMS Bismarck, etc. You could get a lot where accents will throw you for a loop and basic hints can throw off everyone. "Are we surrounded by metal?" "Ja." (okay so we're in a German vehicle) [actual location is Normandy Beach] That kind of thing. You can also do old castles/temples. "are we in europe?" "yep" .... [location Neuschwanstein Castle]. There's a ton of similar locations where you'd have to really have some knowledge of them to discern what it could be.
With the gas station round, they should have known it wasn't Clint even before he was asked a question, because he mentioned premium gas to niko's question.
--- movie theater Bathroom heaven car show NAM(Vietnam during war obviously) Gotham city police department Nuclear facility Nikos house D's house Sam's house....(and so on haha) Comic book Game of thrones The moon space station Corridor digital office stranded island life raft cave ,cavern, Pit , Ravine --Thats all i got Hope yall find a couple that sound good -- -Huge fan Keep up the great content -
My suggested locations are as follows: 1.Haunted Subway Restaurant. 2.Flooded Bathroom. 3.Within the mind of Cillian Murphy. 4.Lion cage at the Zoo. 5.At the family Thanksgiving get together during a rather tense political debate. 6. A haunted Arby’s that has a raccoon in the wall. 7.A rather stinky room! 8.A pumpkin patch. 9. A beehive. 10. Area 51 but it’s haunted and also Cillian Murphy is there for some reason.
I picked some of these because they have a lot of general questions where the answers will overlap two or more of them: Graveyard (Corpse, Graveyard keeper, Mourning family member, vicar) Hotel (Receptionist, Bellboy, Guest, Manager) Home (burglar, homeowner, visitor, child) Military Training Camp (Recruit, Captain, Foreign Informant, Deserter) Gym (Athlete, Infrequent Gym user, personal trainer, Receptionist) School (Teacher, Child, Lunch Lady, Principle) Bar (Bartender, Cleaner, Bouncer, Patron) Office Building (CEO, Middle-Manager, Security, Employee)
I thought of the idea that everyone instead of a location, gets an actor, and everyone has to do impressions of one of that actors characters. So an example would be RDJ and someone would be tony stark, and somebody else could be Sherlock
Ok. None of the roles change for the overall location, but different people play those roles each round at that location. So each building would be 1 round. Ex: 8 rounds Location - University Roles - Professor // Dean // Librarian // Student // Parent // Radio DJ (because that's fun) Different buildings - Library // Cafeteria // Classroom // Dorm // Parking lot // Admissions // Gym // Bar Or Also 8 rounds Location - Cities (up to you, global or local) Roles - Tourist // Townie // Cab Driver (Uber-Lyft?) // Bellhop // Valet // Radio DJ (yup. still fun.) Different buildings - Church // Grocery Store // Bank // Historical Site // Sex Shop // Parking lot // Gym // Bar (up to you to make the buildings more specific if you want)
80's Movie list: Players can look at IMDB on their phones for reference if needed (extra care to conceal) 1) Who Framed Roger Rabbit? 2) Short Circuit (1 & 2) 3) Naked gun (all) 4) Police Academy (1,2,3) 5) Back to the Future (1,2,3) 6) Ghost-busters (1 & 2) 7) Indiana Jones (1,2,3) 8) Teeanage Mutant Nina Turtles (I & 2)
Horror themed: House in the woods Cemetery Abandoned prison Isolated island Party house Gothic castle Village in the desert Space station during blackout
Locations (I dont know which are already in the game): -Airplane terminal -Bank -Millionaire's house party -Bunker -Aircraft (maybe a blimp, some odd one) -Moon station/ ISS -Meteorite crash site -Movie set
Beach, ancient Egypt, midieval castle, cruise ship, mountains, wild west, area, 51, county fair You should pick like 20 locations or so just like spyfall so it harder for the apt to guess
In terms of custom locations you could do themes- WWII- Hitlers office, Anne Franks Attic, Encircled Stalingrad Star wars- Jabbas Palace, Droid Factory, Canteena, Yodas swamp Sports- ANY (You like to play with balls at this location?) Countries-ANY Add/ remove as you please, lets see it happen lads.

I picked some of these because they have a lot of general questions where the answers will overlap two or more of them:
Graveyard (Corpse, Graveyard keeper, Mourning family member, vicar)
Hotel (Receptionist, Bellboy, Guest, Manager)
Home (burglar, homeowner, visitor, child)
Military Training Camp (Recruit, Captain, Foreign Informant, Deserter)

School (Teacher, Child, Lunch Lady, Principle)

Office Building (CEO, Middle-Manager, Security, Employee)
I’m a simple fellow. I see spyfall I like
Location/Movie Ideas
Indiana Jones
Star Wars
The Matrix
Any MCU movie
the Corridor Crew office
I thought of the idea that everyone instead of a location, gets an actor, and everyone has to do impressions of one of that actors characters. So an example would be RDJ and someone would be tony stark, and somebody else could be Sherlock
Playboy mansion, comicon, day care center, starship enterprise, humanbody, moon
I suggest as an oddball, a location where instead of roles of people, you are given objects you have to personify
Ok.
None of the roles change for the overall location, but different people play those roles each round at that location.
So each building would be 1 round.
Ex: 8 rounds
Location - University
Roles - Professor // Dean // Librarian // Student // Parent // Radio DJ (because that's fun)
Different buildings - Library // Cafeteria // Classroom // Dorm // Parking lot // Admissions // Gym // Bar
Or
Also 8 rounds
Location - Cities (up to you, global or local)
Roles - Tourist // Townie // Cab Driver (Uber-Lyft?) // Bellhop // Valet // Radio DJ (yup. still fun.)
Different buildings - Church // Grocery Store // Bank // Historical Site // Sex Shop // Parking lot // Gym // Bar (up to you to make the buildings more specific if you want)
Node I've come to bargain. Do spyfall with all the MCU movies!
