Great video, super helpful and straight forward. My college professor linked this video to an assignment of mine and this video was by far and away the most helpful tutorial I've seen relating this topic, once again great work
I really enjoyed your resume writing instructions. I had to create a resume for my 19-year-old grandson, with no work experience. He's applying for an IT internship and/or apprenticeship. Your guidance and information was very helpful. Let's see if he get's it. Thank you!
I love ths format however I was recently saw a video saying that AI has a lot of problems computing the lines and boxes used to separate the sections, and that often times that information is omitted when analyzing new potential hires. If this is true, how do we get around that? Should I just omit the lines and boxes even though it helps organize the information????? What is the likelihood that a company I'm looking at is using AI to sort through resumes????????
Reputable companies don't make mistakes missing out on qualified candidates based on lines and boxes talked about in this video. Don't worry about it too much imo.
I'm curious... how would you write a resume to apply to a position you have zero experience in? How would you make your current skills relevant to this new job? For example: I have been an unofficial tutor/teacher for nigh 5 years and I want to apply to be an air traffic controller. Quite opposite ends of the spectrum, how would I show I would not be unfit?
Great Tutorial. I have a lot of certifications from Coursera, how can I add them using hyperlinks. Please make a video on adding certifications only. When you have 10 + certifications
@@RDelescen I added certifications in 1 by 3 table, then I removed the table as you did for the project in a tutorial. I added hyperlinks to each certificate.
If my education section consists of - Highschool - Bachelor (2 years but dropped out) - and data analytics courses. Should i bother mentioning my highschool degree or leave it out? Im thorn on it.
Date of birth is not permitted in Canada and in many other countries on your resume as it’s a discriminatory information - plus you are allowing scammers to take advantage of your identity as it’s no always protected when you are distributing your resume to various employers. Precise home address is also amended these days. One can put postcode and city is sufficient info.
I have done 2 months intership, and 3 months industrial training and 2 summer semester, so I need you help to know in which section should I mention that, I'm a fresh graduate. thank you

True! I figured it's easier to offer my BEST template instead of a bunch I don't fully support using :)

how can i get exact this templates?
Do you recommend to add image to resumé?
Depends on the company and region. However, there are employers that will toss resumes with pictures from fear of a discrimination lawsuit.

Providing info about your Date of Birth is not a good idea.
Why not? :)
@@RDelescen because it could be used for ageism. Any info for age, gender, if is married or not etc is a good idea.

@@RDelescen that is definitely true!
