I felt the same as you when I ordered & received my DW KIT back in 1995 which included a 20x28 bd, 10x12, 11x13, 12x14, 13x15, 14x16 tomms & 6.5x14 Craviotto solid shell snare all in Black Cherry Lacquer that I still own and play till this day.
