Don’t forget about the importance of small non gross ( not heavy ) movements. Things like pincer grip. The position would look look typing on a type writer. Arms out in front of you. In stead of air typing though let fingers close like dominoes pinkies first and let your wrists make circles. As you open and close your hands with intention to feel all the muscles inside. The goal is to move without pain and to awaken sensations so try all sorts of movements! ❤
I broke my wrist ~18 years ago, got pronator quadratus released due to poor healing and still struggle with wrist mobility and strength. Me doing these exercises feels good/bad but I’m going to keep at it.
True. I can imagine Tom and other RUclipsrs pushing the same type of content received a huge spike of new subscribers and channel activity during and after COVID.
My lack of wrist extension shows when training for handstands, now i just use Dips, can't even do pushups. I will be actively working on this and see if it helps.
Hello Tom i kinda ask for this on every video you make but could you please do an in depth one arm handstand video. I know you have your road to OAH series but still a sole video would be great. Great content as usual love from south América
Tom, how do you avoid getting things like ganglion cysts? Whenever I work into my wrists, the cysts that I thought had disappeared inevitably get worse and want to pop up again...am I just progressing too fast?
It’s something that I have no seen a lot of research on. I think the key is managing load progressively but also, playing with angles. Nothing wrong with parallettes to reduce wrist strain
Solid and simple procedure. We always did the wrist clock walk in our Gymnast warmup. Just realized my wrists were really stiff on the inward curl (Reverse Wrist Curls). That might be one reason why I tend to have issues with inflamed elbows (aside from weak grip). Looks like solid exercise, will aim to integrate these into my warmup.
Tom is Mr. Consistent. Consistent content. Consistent progress. Consistent wisdom. 👌🔥🔥
Consistency is king
I’ve been following him for years. His one of my biggest fitness crushes
I’ve been exercising my wrists consistently since my teens

This will be very useful for my golf, I’m 67 and also do weight training but my wrists are stiff. Do you think this will improve with exercise?
Yea it will help
Thanks, started a job as a waiter and wrist exercise became important real quick.
