    Tom, hello! I've been having left wrist restrictions when in extension. This discomfort has been going on for a few months and truthfully been working around the pain rather than addressing the problem. I had to make some adjustments with your routine but hopefully get results with this video over some time.

    Thank you! I already do quite a bit of finger/wrist/hand flexibility work, but you gave me some new ideas. If possible, could you do a similar video for feet/toes/ankle? (assuming you haven't already and I missed it) I've copied some foot stuff from classical ballet dancers, but always looking for new tips.

    Not at all what I was expecting. That internally rotated part looks really nasty. I don't think it should be recommended as a general warmup

      you can do all of these slowl and control the weight you’re applying.

      A lot less risky than trying to do some hand balancing without a proper warmup. Your shoulder is capable of and will experience internal rotation when training. Better to be familiar with it under control than be afraid of it.

    • @rlstrength
      @rlstrength 10 дней назад +1

      @@douglasreinot4608 I think that's fearmongering as a general statement. I've done HS and HSPU work for 8 years (which is not a lot compared to many people clearly) and there was never a similar position, not even close.
      If you're doing crazy weird bailouts maybe, but as a general warmup at least for me there is 0 usefulness. Prep work should have a clear goal, not just "yeah but what if you...".
      I'm not disagreeing that for some people it might be useful, just on the generic recommendation

      @@rlstrength I can see how my first sentence was maybe misleading, however my position is far from fear mongering. Get into shoulder internal rotation and stretch it out. Load it lightly when you’re ready. Unless you have an injury that makes this position painful, there’s absolutely no problem with trying it out in the warm up. It’s likely to even help a healthy shoulder feel better.

    This really good❤ the most difficult for me is the 6:00 inworth position with the hands and shoulders rotated inworth. Will these exercises help me to Push up to do the back bridge?❤

    2 weeks ago I started a job as a gardener.
    I do sit down weed pulling (which makes my body stiff) and digging up the roots of invasive plants and pulling climbers out of the fence.
    Can you please make a video for someone like me to do after work?
    I've been doing your back and hip stretches, which help. I was thinking one specifically for a gardener would be better.

    Tried this new routine today before playing the piano, and I swear my playing was better and freer because of it. Weightlifting can really do a number on my wrists, and this routine got them warmed up perfectly. Thank you Tom.
