It was a nice find. Most machine-made rugs aren't worth 1/5th of what you paid the moment you've bought it even if its new, but Karastans of that era were made with really nice wool and that translates to better durability and color. Their popularity causes a lot of people who've decorated around them in the past to hunt for replacements via auctions, ebay, facebook, etc...
That sold fast! No surprise - it was gorgeous. I hope you sell rugs on eBay in the future. It's great to know a quality vintage rug has been freshly cleaned before buying!
It would be great if you guys can make a video dedicated to showing/ explaining all of the tools and equipment you use. Including the tools that are used when you are cleaning floors at a business or residence. I would be very interested to learn more about it. Love the content.
Probably one of the most beautiful rugs you gents have cleaned in years. And God Bless you for your support of St. Jude Children's hospital. Question - how would you rate an oxiclean/water mixture for home carpet cleaning. It's a synthetic beige to tan berber and, frankly, not worth having it professionally cleaned. It's old, stained, and worn. But I want to clean it as well as I possibly can. Thanks, gentlemen!
I’m so sad I live on the other side of the world this is the most gorgeous rug well I would buy in a heartbeat if I could. 😁 Oh I nearly forgot to say I love your channel. 👍🏽
I have just found your videos and love them.. is there a video where you explain the steps and why they are done? also is the water recycled somehow? thanks
What a huge and gorgeous rug! It's a little disappointing that it's so big we can't see any of the white flooring around it, so it's harder to tell how dirty the water coming off it is.
This is amazing to watch. Only thing I wonder about who does actually asks for their carpet to be cleaned, appart from being it family relic, etc..? I mean, I do not know how much the service fee is around there, but nearby its deffo worth it to just buy a new one, especially if its that dirty... Can anyone tell me a really good reason to get it cleaned rather than just buy a new one if its cheaper? I am just curious
I buy the best home furnishings I can afford-usually after saving for them for some time. Doing so allows me to spend more for something that will last my lifetime. Buying good quality furnishings and taking excellent care of them is, in the long run, less expensive and better for the environment and less junk in the landfill. Fast fashion, whether in clothes, furniture, or rugs ultimately costs more because cheap things must be replaced more frequently than if you purchased a higher quality item to begin with.
The algorithm for some reason has been giving me a lot of these carpet cleaning videos lately. They're interesting but I can't imagine why it's worth the cost of all the chemicals, equipment, and labor to clean some of these rugs rather than replace them. Can someone fill me in on this?
I have a question. Can you guys speed up the scrubbing with the blue machine (Not the centrifuge) up a little, it gets a little long. Other than that, great vid
Just as a heads up, autistic people generally suggest you not donate to Autism Speaks, because they're focused on finding a cure decades down the road, rather than on helping people who are living with autism right now. The alternative usually recommended is the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network (ASAN), but any charity that actually includes autistic people in the decision-making process is a far better choice.
It is really dangerous to have the power cable on the floor, I have seen them get wrapped around the spinning brush and rip the insulation off, not good when standing in water. You could hang the power cable from the roof on a long retractable sprung rope, a lot safer.
Shame there was no white board under all the rug so you can see the colour of the water been scraped off . Nice rug though and kind of you to donate 20% of the price you sold it for :)
Why do we comment, you guys clearly don't read this.. Over 6000 likes on the same question.. And we still waiting two months later.. Read your channels comments please!
1) No annoying background music
2) Effective workflow methodology
3) Strangely relaxing
Subbed!

I enjoy watching your cleanings. Putting this beautiful rug on for St Judes is wonderful. Thank you for the contribution to them.

Genius idea to clean rugs then sell them for a good cause.
You have proof of cleaning and content for the channel. So clever.

Missed seeing you clean the fringe🥺 I know the rug was big, but the changing from brown to white is cool. Anyway, great rug, not as dirty as most.👍🏻💙
I wish you guys were in IL or IA. I would love to have a rug cleaned by you guys. 💗 you guys do great work 👍❤
Fabulous rug! Great job - well done.

I know! Your so right!
Fr i love seeing the white flooring and the dirt coming off of the carpet 😢

Quiero trabajar con vosotros 🙏🏼. Es tan satisfactorio!!
Gran trabajo!!😊😉
Well done brilliant as usual.😍😍😘
Great job Guys
How the hell did I end up here. And why am I staying here! This is amazing for some reason lol!
Good job👌
PERFECT
Somebody help me. I first read that as, "Gorgeous Kardashian Rug." There's probably therapy available to me ...

Many designs such as this one are no longer made anymore. Because of its age it was probably made by hand. Think highly tailored suit vs Walmart.
What is the cost for a rug of this size?
I have a question. Can you guys speed up the scrubbing with the blue machine (Not the centrifuge) up a little, it gets a little long. Other than that, great vid
It's too busy, but it's pretty!
What is ARSM
Very pretty I donate to st judes and autism speaks, you guys are doing a good job washing and thinking about the kiddies😍😍😍

@@InfiniteAnvil thanks for that, didn’t know that organization 🙏🏼 😊❤️
That is probably the largest rug that I've seen you guys clean. Definitely no extra room for it in the drying room.
We Wanna See The Dirty Water
just a suggestion. Love some of the mid stream commentary of what you do and ideas. otherwise. enjoyable.
하하 멋지다
maby next 1 you add before en after weight mesurments
You should weigh the rugs before and after the cleaning so we know how much dirt you cleaned
It is really dangerous to have the power cable on the floor, I have seen them get wrapped around the spinning brush and rip the insulation off, not good when standing in water. You could hang the power cable from the roof on a long retractable sprung rope, a lot safer.
What does ASMR stand for?

That's a nice rug, but it honestly didn't seem too bad to begin with, and you didn't show before and after pics.
You'd be pretty annoyed if you got this to its place and then dropped like red wine on it or something.

Any piss saturated rugs in the pipeline bro?
