      @@southeastsoftwash4020 , with all the other stuff you have to keep up with, do you give folks that buy your units a list of tools and parts.you know the silly little things that mess up your day.like “o” rings,male/female quick couplers,etc.you would hope folks would have a little “mechanical skill” ( how to replace a light bulb). How manny phone calls you and your staff field of silly things like my electric pumps aren’t are not working,oh I forgot to charge my batteries. I'm doing this right now on a bigger scale. Kohler 26.5 EFI hooked up to a Legacy GX1025 10.6 gpm monster. Gonna be using my Mondo 49 to clean store fronts, banks, restaurant patios, drive throughs, etc. I am using the same triple belt set-up. I looked and looked and could not find a "serpentine" style belt system, like a supercharger belt, even though I seen only a few on youtube. Would you happen to know where I can get a single wide belt setup?

    Hey, thank you for putting out so much good content! I was wondering, could you put out another video about your 24V softwash system? Have you guys been having good luck with them still, is there any new information, etc? Also, have you been having any issues with them being mounted sideways on the front of your systems? I was looking through the manual for some wiring specs and found out it says to only mount them horizontally... After I mounted mine like yours! LOL

    • @southeastsoftwash4020
      @southeastsoftwash4020  2 года назад

      You are reading the manual wrong.
      See page 8 of the “mounting instructions” section here: m.northerntool.com/images/downloads/manuals/157155.pdf

      @@southeastsoftwash4020 I must have worded my question in an odd way, but the diagrams right on that page show the concern I have with mounting the pump on a wall. It says that mounting the pump with the feet down is correct, and mounting the pump with feet sideways would stop their "motor armor" system from functioning. Have you guys been experiencing problems mounting your 24V pumps in that manner?

    • @southeastsoftwash4020

      @@BracTheRock the only pump we ever mounted like that was on the demo truck we took to the trade show a year ago.

    • @JD-yx7be
      @JD-yx7be 2 года назад

      the pump can't, the engine can. when the pump dies replace it with a new skid for belt drive and a pump

      @JD-yx7be 2 года назад

      if you use a gearbox you can keep your direct drive skid and just replace the pump.

    Crushn it have you thought about getting the front or side of the pressure washing skid cut put like you did the reel deals to say something like Souther shooter or Souther Soaker cool names for the skids or the new shooter tips 🤔 just my 2 cents

    1- why do some belt drive systems have such a short belt they are really small compared to this unit which I’d say is normal
    2- why are the components so hard to find ?

    Off topic question! Have you guys ever had water seeping issues? Running into a customers home from doors. I am trying to find a product to put at the bottom of doors, but the top of our door is actually where our leaking happens too. Any advice?

      It can happen if they’ve got poor weather seals. Problem is you may not be able to even see that from outside.
      Check out the customer contract “terms & conditions” on the home page on our site.

    Hi,
    I have a few questions on belt drive units.
    1. Can I converted an existing honda GX690 8.0 gpm belt drive to a gear drive? Is it possible to use the same pump? Or that need to be changed?
    2. On a belt drive unit. Is it better to have a single belt for the pulley or have the individual belts. I only ask because if a single belt breaks will it cause more damage on the engine? Compare to having individual ones and one breaks.
    3. When is the best time or hours to replace belts?
    Thanks

    • @JD-yx7be
      @JD-yx7be 2 года назад +1

      1. yes, just make sure the shaft size on the gear box is the same as your pumps shaft, make sure the gear reduction is the same as your pump rpm. You can't use the same pump. direct drive pumps have female connection and gearbox/belt pumps have a male shaft

      It’s possible to Get a direct drive to run just fine off a tank, but it’s a better idea to just get a gear or belt drive unit and be done with it
