I came across your channel about a month ago and have basically been binge watching ever since. I LOVE natural yarns as well and I do a lot of naturally dyeing too. I love all of your colourwork sweaters and plans specifically but you've given me some great ideas because we share a similar aesthetic and yarn choices. I'm currently knitting the sleeves on my Goldwing sweater by Jennifer Steingass which I hope to finish by the end of July, so that I can at least get a few days wear out of it in our very short winter here in QLD Australia. I will be moving to fingering weight projects for the rest of the year as we heat up

After I heard you mention colour mart I proceeded to spend a copious amount of time browsing their site. So grateful you mentioned it!

Ok. You have awesome vintage/reclaimed yarn sourcing skills! I would love it if you made an episode about the various ways you find these things. I would never have thought to look for yarn on Goodwill online, for example. I love finding vintage yarn but I don't have a lot of time to go out to thrift stores etc so I would love to hear all of the ways that you source your vintage yarn (and sweaters for reclaiming). 😊

That's amazing for a first sweater!
Also, I'm obsessed with the sweaters you made/are making for your nieces. Now I want to make a name sweater for my daughter so badly! Loved the podcast and can't wait to see how your projects work up. :)

Your cathedral Dome sweater is beautiful - your colors work so well together. You mentioned adding short rows to the back of the sweater. What part of the back were the short rows added and how many. I'm knitting the Maja cardigan using Lettlopi and considering adding that to mine. Since you're knitting in the round, do you feel the need to put in faux seams at either side of the sweater to give it more structure? Thank you.
BTW, Colourmart is a great find. Their yarns are actually the mill ends from luxury brands and are so beautiful. I love trying out different types and yarns and cones means less ends to weave in.

thank you! I put them just below the ribbing. I don't remember how many -- I took the instructions from another pattern with the same stitch counts. If I were to do it again, I would do it underneath the yoke. I did not put faux seams in, I don't really like the look of them.

Your first sweater is gorgeous, I may have to knit that pattern for myself! And your Cathedral Dome sweater is amazing, I love the neutral colors. Have you knit or do you plant to knit any other patterns from her book?
Your knitting and yarny chat is super inspiring (especially your decisions to recycle yarn, buy second hand and overdye) - thank you for sharing ❤️
I’m knitting on the Curio socks for my partner, and the Linnea scarf by Stickarinna for myself (double knitting for the scarf is time consuming!)

thank you so much! it's a great pattern, it goes super quickly and it's a closet staple. I think the next pattern I want to try from the Scandinavian Sweaters book is the Out and About Sweater-Jacket. It's a very pretty two-color colorwork cardigan. It will be my first steek!
