Congratulations on your pregnancy! I definitely have also noticed that a lot of the knitting creators I follow are also pregnant, so there will be a lot of cute baby knits on my radar for when I hopefully have a baby of my own in the distant future 😁
Congratulations! This is so happy news! I would avoid pullovers for really small babies as they don't hold their head and it is not very comfortable to pull the sweater over their head. Onesies are good for sleeping (we let them sleep outside where I live). When you make mittens, it is good to join them with some kind of i-cord so they don't loose them. When you make hats for bigger babies, it is good to make them with fastening (i-cord to tie under chin or smth) as some babies entertain themselfs by pulling the hat off their head ALL the time. Also - zips are good and not too many buttons - but it depends on what the item is for - for everyday basics it is a lot faster to zip something up than to fasten ten buttons. But you will learn everything when the time comes. I am so happy for you! Enjoy every aspect of this journey as they grow so quickly :)
Yay! Congratulations on your pregnancy. My daughter just had her first baby and I’ve been knitting a lot of baby girl things. It’s so fun. Im happy you feel a bit better.
Wishing you an easy rest of pregnancy!! Pregnancy seems to last forever, I found that babies growing up goes by much faster. Thanks for an amazing episode and inspiration to fall fix.
Congratulations!!! How exciting! That tiny outfit is so adorable, I wish I knew how to knit when I had my babies (who are 13 and 16 now). I love that my 3 favourite knitting podcasters are all pregnant ❤
Your upcoming trip to Europe sounds wonderful. When in Bath, you might also want to check out A Yarn Story, an iconic knitting shop mentioned in many knitting podcasts. Best wishes on your upcoming new arrival.
Congratulations! First pregnancies are very special :) The most useful knits I made are vests! perfect layering pieces. And hats of course. Stroller blanket got a lot of use too.. as did a tiny pair of socks made from worsted weight yarn for when we were walking outside. Getting babies into clothes that have sleeves is very hard - so didn't make anything with sleeves. Also the vests had open fronts until he was old enough to hold his head up very well to avoid applying pressure on the neck.
Congratulations! What lovely news! 🎉I’ve been to Loop this morning and am sitting watching you and knitting with my new yarn. Hope you have a fab trip to the uk. 🌷
Congratulations! Enjoy England! We never did a baby moon and now we have an eight and six year old…time flies so try to enjoy all the moments! My finger scrolled too quickly and accidentally hit the thumbs down…I’m so sorry! It was an accident and I unclicked it…happy knitting and keep growing that baby girl!!
Congratulations! I wish I was a knitter when my babies were small… at least I have a few knit pieces my mom made for them… I think your approach to do a few pieces now then wait until she is here to knit more is great… both my kids never wore any newborn and barely any 3 months clothes 🤷🏻♀️… almost 9 pounds each!! It’s so hard to predict what size is going to work…
Awwww, you’re pregnant, congrats! Its such an exciting time, and it’s so nice to see how happy you are. So for baby knits, I have made a lot of Tincanknits patterns, not only bc they fit so well, but because of them being graded for a lot of sizes. This way I could knit a bigger version when I needed to. By the way, I have 4 kids and it makes me very happy to see how recently a lot of people embark on this very rewarding journey. Have a good time!
Congratulations on your pregnancy 😍🥳such exciting news. The outfit you made is too cute. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy journey
Congratulations on your pregnancy … I had a feeling g when you said you had some news … it will be soooo fun to knit for her. So glad you are having a good relationship 👏💖
Congrats on your pregnancy!! I LOVE the Korshavn sweater! I only have to finish the neckline on mine. I’ve seen the male pattern of Korshavn on ravelry. Seeing yours may help me decide if I want to make one for my partner. Have a wonderful vacation!
Congratulations to you and your family Anna! Hope that you are feeling healthy and well and that you are enjoying your pregnancy! I’m glad to hear you embrace that green is just your color and it doesn’t matter how many items you make in it. Sometimes I think, how many times can I buy/make the same color. But if I love it, the answer is infinity! And I shouldn’t worry about it, just enjoy my making.
Congratulations! Definitely worth a trip to Beautiful Knitters, lovely little shop and the staff are friendly and helpful, also nice cafes and shops nearby - I went there for the first time last week. Wild and Woolly is also a lovely shop and again, super nice staff - haven’t been there for a while but loved it. I have grandchildren and found knitted blankets to be a very useful item for new arrivals - they don’t grow out of them and use them on the sofa later - Hansel hap has been a favourite - good luck!
Yay! Congratulations! I kind of had a feeling. Was browsing through your ravelry favorites and soooo many baby knits popped up. So happy for you and your partner! How exciting the next months are going to be. Wish you all the best! And so excited for the baby knits! Just finished a baby hipster hat for a friend and was like: not yet. Not yet. Not yet. But so excited for the time when I am able to knit for a baby myself! ❤❤
Congratulations on the baby! So exciting! I wasn't into knitting with my first, but my new baby (3 weeks) I knit her a bunch of cardigans at different sizes 😊 I wanted to throw up every time I saw my knitting in my first trimester so no mojo for a while lol
Love the idea of the Fall fix along. I have a Forsythia Pullover which I don’t wear because of the sleeves (too long and too wide). So I’m going to fix them so I can wear it! Congratulations-looking forward to the baby knits.
Aww congrats!❤ I'm also currently knitting a sweater with 500 g of Cascade220 heathers and I'm a bit hesitant that it is enough. It is my first time knitting with this yarn and it seems super lovely! I hope it doesn't pill a lot since it is so soft.
Congrats!!! For the first baby you should do whatever you love to do. If you end up having a second, everything needs to be no fuss and machine washable 🤪 It's incredible how "dirty" babies get their clothes. The amount of spit up, puke, drool and poop they get on their clothes is ridiculous! (At least my three where like that). My first and second were both born at the end of February/beginning of March but there was a 2lbs+ difference so the clothes mostly didn't fit at the right time. I totally agree with waiting to see what size your girl will need by next fall. They grow so differently. Have fun in the UK!
Lovely videos and congratulations on your pregnancy! I don't have children but I have nieces and friends with babies... Onesies are super cute but not the most practical. The Selma suit, on the other hand, has gotten LOTS of use. Cardigans are nice (easier to put on and off). I've gift knitted the Lil kimono by Julie Partie several times and it's gotten lots of wear; it's a really cute pattern and you can play with the ties. I've knit the dandelion cardigan (Along avec Anna) twice already for slightly bigger sizes. I love knitting for kiddos...
Congrats on the little Baby growing inside of you. I knew right away cause you were so out of breath:D so happy for your little family! Also I don't know if you know the yarn shop 'my ivory room'? I think it is in london and they have beautiful yarns:)
Congrats on your pregnancy! I loved your last tutorial and was wondering if you could make another one on knitting cuffs inside out to get a neater stitch? My ribbing always looks better on the inside too 😩
Green is my favorite color too!! 💚💚💚. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope the newborn size outfit fits her! You may want to make a bigger size just in case your grow big babies 😂
Omg congrats I totally thought you were pregnant at the beginning of this video for some reason. I'm a February baby so I can say it's a good month to be born 😁
Aww congratulations 🎉 I did guess that you were possibly expecting from the slight flushing of your face and heavier breathing. I know , cause I've had four children in my time.😊 It's such a sweet outfit.
hmm I've never tried grafting double knit. I would recommend testing it on a swatch, or unraveling the button placket and reknitting it after doing surgery on the sweater body.
Thank you so much! I’ll let you know how that goes. You really motivated me to alter two knits that I wasn’t completely satisfied with. Congratulations on your pregnancy as well!
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I definitely have also noticed that a lot of the knitting creators I follow are also pregnant, so there will be a lot of cute baby knits on my radar for when I hopefully have a baby of my own in the distant future 😁

Congratulations. Baby girls are the best. My daughter is a Valentine’s baby and every time we hear of a baby due in February, we hope for the 14th.

Thank you! I usually just do a german short row on the final round before the ribbing, and the turn and start the ribbing going the opposite way.
Oh CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!💗

Hello, do you think that the surgery technique would work on a cardigan with a double knitted boutton plackets ?
hmm I've never tried grafting double knit.
The shorts look like basketball shorts 😂
they kind of do....project fail!
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
