Congratulations! How wonderful for you and your husband.
Great episode and congratulations on your baby.
Yes to the updates stash tour! Would love to see it ❤
Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! Enjoy your babymoon 💝 😊
congrats on your baby and your spinning wheel! i am dying for a wheel! excited to see more of your spinning adventures!
Congrats on your baby girl! Yes to all video ideas! For the Amy I would give your body a couple more weeks, then try it on over the bottom and top you are planning to wear.
I hope you love your Nutiden. I am a big fan. My package from the March Patreon shop update is being delivered tomorrow and I am not home 😭 The colours all look so different from one picture to the next and completely different in the patreon video. I can't wait to get home and rip open that package!!
Congrats, and welcome to Mom mode! This video brought me back 25 years ago to right after my daughter was born. I went into a spinning knitting frenzy! It just went well with my new Mom mode. Now I am empty nesting and am right back in a fiber frenzy😂. Thanks for posting, I always enjoy your projects and yarn discussions.
Congrats!!! Would love a q&a and stash tour and more breastfeeding friendly knit and sewing patterns. Going on 10 months of breastfeeding and my whole wardrobe has needed to evolve. Also want to see a review of baby knits as you use them and see how they work for your sweet girl. Love from Alaska!
I’d love to see a yarn stash tour! 🧶 😊
Maybe a wee bit of length just above the bottom ribbing??? Kind of hard to make a judgment when you have tried it on over a sweatshirt.. Definitely try it on over an actual top you will wear under it before you make any adjustments. I love how it lands right on the edge of your shoulders and I think it is a great look on you. My suggestion to consider is lining your baby blanket with a piece of flannel chamois cloth and do the tying you mentioned. It will be warm and the all cotton flannel will wear well. Just ideas. I love your work and your enthusiasm for knitting. Best wishes on motherhood.
i would love a stash tour!!
Congratulations on your little babe ☺️ my son has fallen asleep a few times watching his grandma spin on her wheel, but alas he is now 18 months old and only napping a little while each day 😂
Congratulations on the birth of your little baby!
Congratulations to you & your family from a fellow Caroline!
It’s a great name!
First - congratulations on your baby! You look great! I think the Amy slipover should be tried on over whatever you're likely to wear it with. It's hard to tell if it's long enough over such a bulky item. I really like the color! I've been to Stranded by the Sea. My best friend lives on Bainbridge Island and my daughter lives in North Seattle near Haller Lake. So when I come visit Seattle I usually end up taking the Kingston-Edmonds Ferry. My daughter just comes and picks me up at Stranded by the Sea. I love that shop! A stash update video would be great! I'm sure you can finish the sweater for your daughter by the time she turns 1 month. What a great idea to take monthly pics in the same sweater! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you finish it in time! Happy Spring! Greetings from Herndon, VA
Congratulations on your sweet girl. Be kind to yourself and your body for a while. I found it took a year to get back to my pre baby shape while breastfeeding. I'm amazed at your desire to be creative while still so sleep deprived!
Amy slipover. IMHO I would add length to the bottom by adding more ribbing. And do I-cords not the ribbing edge around the shoulders and down to long ties. The ties do not need to be tight having the front and back touch when tied in a bow.
I too like where the Amy shoulders land on your shoulders. :)
I'm doing a patchwork knit blanket and the back is a hot mess!! I decided to purchase a 100% cotton top bed sheet which I will use as a backing and do the tie method to keep it all together. I was worried that a knit backing would be too heavy and the thought of that much garter is way too boring. Congrats on your new baby and it is amazing how fabulous you look!!
That’s a great idea! Haha you are so sweet thank you!
My knitting dropped off after having a baby. So I’m super impressed by all of your progress! I was knitting a ranunculus and had to rip it out and start over because my post partum brain royally messed up so many times 😅. As always love seeing your projects!!!
You have inspired me to pick up my knitting and get this sock finished ❤
Yes please to a stash tour 😊
"normal people". the perfect name for non knitters!!
Very happy to see you around here! I am glad that you are doing so well. Do you feel like cardigans are absolutely necessary for breastfeeding? I don't remember very well how I did for my first one and now that I am expecting my second one I am wondering if I should knit some 😅
I will preface this by saying that 1. I don’t get out much and 2. I’m not shy about it, but I haven’t found the need to get any breastfeeding clothes or wear things with buttons - I just wear what’s comfortable to me and make it work! I do tend to wear tops that are pretty loose so I can kind of use them as a cover thought.
@@apt.atelier yes I think this is how I did it the last time too, it's crazy how I forgot about practical stuff in just over 2 years 😆 my brain just kept the essential
@@theknittingburrow I think cardigans are essential if you plan to do some babywearing. I made the mistake a couple of times to strap on the baby over top of a sweater. I got hot but couldn't do anything because I didn't want the baby to wake up... A cardigan over top of the baby wrap/carrier is so much better. Also, if it is a winter baby and you make the cardigan nice and oversized you can close it over the baby!
@@oldwitchknits-Ursula you are making a point!! 😃
