This is one of the reasons people don't use pine for guitar bodies....

of course with proper drying, you can minimize issues with resin. but generally Pine will bleed for a long time, so letting it sit in the shop for a few years can help to ease that problem. even after finishing and a nice coat of polyurethane it will bleed through
