Bethany, I just wanted to say a quick note. We all need to be mindful on which side to put the vinyl on the mugs. If you place the handle to the right side, the recipient is left-handed. If you place the handle to the left, the recipient is right-handed. It is for others to read while the recipient drinks. This way, you don't need to be mindful of how far down the mug to put the vinyl. Hope this helps & I wish you & your beautiful family a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Not sure that rule applies to all. I know im right handed but drink with my left hand, and my mom does too, it’s kind of funny. So I think it all depends on the person rather than a general rule. I know when gifting a mug I tend to make them double sided just to be safe 😂 You just never really know .

I hope you're feeling better. For the white Chenille " Mama" patch, I found this information on the Hobby Lobby website. "Accent your fabric gifts for your loved ones with an endearing touch using this Cursive Mama Patch Sticker! This charming white chenille piece features the word "Mama" in cursive text. Stick it onto a pair of pants along with other complementary patch stickers for a fun look! " So I think it is intended for clothing. Let us know how it wears afting washing. Bethany, Did your Mum create her Garden flag gift set on a Circuit? If not, what media did she use? That's SUCH a beautiful idea! The other one, I saw in a kind woman's home -- it was a gorgeous, refined, tightly conceived & executed, fabric applique & embroidery piece. It was about 7-9" wide, and about 24" long and read across each colored decorative piece. The theme was "Fruits of The Spirit". It was memorable; I saw this 40+ yrs ago, have thought of it with fond memory ever since!

I believe the material was polyester. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
If you wanted to , with the glitter iron on that you peel off the liner you could keep for appliqué with your embroidery projects. It’s the same thing. Like how kimberbelle has their glitter appliqué sheets that you need to remove the plastic first anyway. It’s one way that I feel I can waist for iron on but then still use it for appliqué projects that require hardly anything. And the sticker patch is paper studio so I would assume is more fora notebook or scrapbook type project Anyway…enjoying you videos and on a Bethadilly binge watching week…or month. lol

You make adhesive vinyl look so easy, i am not a huge fan of the Cricut matless vinyl. I truly struggle weeding smaller designs. Try using fabric glue to attach that patch to your sweatshirt. I put those stickers on my tablet cover and a trinket box I made. Love your videos and can't wait to see your new crafting space! Have a very merry Christmas!🎄

My guess is it would never last on a garment, but what you could do is hand stitch (just a simple back stitch would be cute!!) all around the outside. Use some cute thread. Love your videos! BUT I've said that before... it was very helpful to be reminded to use parchment paper when the vinyl is being tricky.... I had a problem just come up yesterday, where using parchment paper maybe could of worked better. So thankful that you give us such good information that applies to real life crafting situations! I appreciate your points on why you don’t put the vinyl on the inside of shadow boxes/pictures frame. I am newbie to Cricut crafts. I made my first shadow box, which came out really pretty, but…….i did put the vinyl on the inside as that was a suggestion made by another crafter. Ugh, not an epic fail but there were LOTS of bubbles and the more you try to get them out the more noticeable they are. Even if you get them out it’s noticeable up close. The "mama" sticker patch is definitely for paper. The description online describes it as bringing "both dimension and texture" to paper crafts. Would have looked great as a fabric patch though!!
Amy from Amy Make That RUclips channel made a make up bag with those sticky patches. You can put them on fabric or garments… so I think it’s all good :)

The “Mama” patch is a Paper studio product that was intended for paper for scrapbooking and will probably not survive washing. There were some similar looking designs with iron on patches.

Absolutely loving this kind of video! As I am making my own gifts, I was wondering if you have any tips for storing vinyl that you have already weeded and put on transfer tape, before you apply them to the surface?

Also, with the white mama sticker, I would just go ahead and make the sweatshirt like you wanted, and then tack it down with some handstitching. It didn’t ruin the sweatshirt, so that’s a good sign! Hello again - did not expect to see you on so soon. Did you move away to another state or are you still in the same vicinity so the kiddos can go to their same school? I am busy making cards for a card ministry - hoping I can start doing this locally instead of mailing off pkgs - found a really pretty script font for Christmas cards but it is hard to remove from card stock with all of its skinny swirls so going to try some gold foil vinyl and see if that is any better - I do a lot of designing my own cards in DS and then print because I make a lot of one kind at a time, like 20 get well, 20 hang in there, 20 birthday, etc. - I only do layering and embellishing for my family cards - it is so good to see you again and I hope you feel better soon - Merry Christmas to you and your family

I’m primarily a card maker. When I make a batch of cards that are all the same, such as Christmas, I have a production process. I do the same step on each card. It’s the same concept as you are doing. Love your videos and you have quickly become my favorite Cricut crafter 💕💕

With neoprene I cut an extra piece of neoprene and insert it inside to give it a nice firm level press surface, it works so much better.

That Mama sticker patch is so pretty on that pink sweatshirt! I think I would use Heat n’ Bond or fabric glue and put it on the shirt anyway!

Bethany, my guess is the sticker "mama" patch is meant to be for scrapbooking!
For the white colored patch, get your sewing machine out and stitch around the edges! ,,,,assuming there is enough edge to do that.
You can make cards that say HAND MADED MEANS HAND WASH
The sticky mama may be for a book . I hope it works out. Maybe you could sew it down to your shirt.
Is there enough room around the Mama sticker that you could hand sew it (or machine sew) onto a garment?

I have an idea for your MAMA patch on your sweatshirt. My guess is it would never last on a garment, but what you could do is hand stitch (just a simple back stitch would be cute!!) all around the outside. Use some cute thread. Just wanted to throw that out here, because I know you thought it was so cute & you really wanted to use it!! HTH!! And thanks for all the cute gift ideas!! Much appreciated🙏❤️!!

Love your videos! BUT I've said that before... it was very helpful to be reminded to use parchment paper when the vinyl is being tricky.... I had a problem just come up yesterday, where using parchment paper maybe could of worked better. So thankful that you give us such good information that applies to real life crafting situations! I appreciate your points on why you don’t put the vinyl on the inside of shadow boxes/pictures frame. I am newbie to Cricut crafts. I made my first shadow box, which came out really pretty, but…….i did put the vinyl on the inside as that was a suggestion made by another crafter. Ugh, not an epic fail but there were LOTS of bubbles and the more you try to get them out the more noticeable they are. Even if you get them out it’s noticeable up close. Great learning opp for me though. Thanks again - feel better soon and wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas!

The "mama" sticker patch is definitely for paper. The description online describes it as bringing "both dimension and texture" to paper crafts. Would have looked great as a fabric patch though!!
Amy from Amy Make That RUclips channel made a make up bag with those sticky patches. You can put them on fabric or garments… so I think it’s all good :)

The “Mama” patch is a Paper studio product that was intended for paper for scrapbooking and will probably not survive washing. There were some similar looking designs with iron on patches.

Absolutely loving this kind of video! As I am making my own gifts, I was wondering if you have any tips for storing vinyl that you have already weeded and put on transfer tape, before you apply them to the surface?

Also, with the white mama sticker, I would just go ahead and make the sweatshirt like you wanted, and then tack it down with some handstitching. It didn’t ruin the sweatshirt, so that’s a good sign! Hello again - did not expect to see you on so soon. Did you move away to another state or are you still in the same vicinity so the kiddos can go to their same school? I am busy making cards for a card ministry - hoping I can start doing this locally instead of mailing off pkgs - found a really pretty script font for Christmas cards but it is hard to remove from card stock with all of its skinny swirls so going to try some gold foil vinyl and see if that is any better - I do a lot of designing my own cards in DS and then print because I make a lot of one kind at a time, like 20 get well, 20 hang in there, 20 birthday, etc. - I only do layering and embellishing for my family cards - it is so good to see you again and I hope you feel better soon - Merry Christmas to you and your family

I’m primarily a card maker. When I make a batch of cards that are all the same, such as Christmas, I have a production process. I do the same step on each card. It’s the same concept as you are doing. Love your videos and you have quickly become my favorite Cricut crafter 💕💕
