Well, I am in a good place because I don't get a ton of traffic or comments on my covers, so it allows me the ability to reply to pretty much everyone. Now if I had 100's of thousands of subscribes receiving 10 thousand comments a day, I don't think I could ever do that. This is just a hobby for me and still sometimes it feels like work to do just the 1 cover I do a month. I put a lot of effort into each cover and it's not even that great sometimes. I really need to work on my video production side of this, but again, it's a hobby I do in my free time from work, kids, wife, and life. But I appreciate you for always leaving comments! Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the comment! This is a custom preset I made, based off the Djent kit in the core Superior Drummer 3 library. It consists of 3 snares layered together with them some custom tweaks in the mixer panel. But if you open up that Djent kit, you should be pretty close. Appreciate the comment and hope you like some of my other videos!

At least it’s not gray yet... which drum expansion preset did you use? The Toms are nice and meaty! Also a quick question on your equipment. Do you run usb from the td30 to the laptop or midi through an interface? Do you ever have an issue with latency? I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to record since dropping the $400 on SD3 and I’m still trying to figure all this crap out! Cheers Bryan
There is some gray in my beard Mike, although being a blonde haired guy, I can play it off. 😆 I run separate USB's from my module to my Mac Mini and from my audio interface to the Mac Mini; I use the audio interface for monitoring only. When I used a Windows machine, I had to use the ASIO driver to get lower latency, switching to the Mac, the latency is next to nothing. As for my SD3 preset, it's based off the Djent preset but I also layer some other sounds on the toms from the Metal Machine EZX and the Metal Machinery SDX. Took some time to tweak everything but I am pretty happy with it now. Then obviously changing EQ, compression, and all that stuff... @@mfournier01 I found an i5 Mac Mini 2012 with 16gb of ram on ebay for about $350. I then threw a 1TB hard drive in it, so it's not that expensive. But you can totally get great results with a Windows machine, I only got the Mac because our band was using Logic Pro to record.
