    Atticus cross-examines Ewell
This scene always gets me smiling with the line "Mr. Ewell, can you read and write?" Atticus asked that to show his dominant hand 👍👍 2:27-3:10

Atticus took a big risk, if ewell would have made his mark right handed it would have been a disaster

@@raneemebelein I think Atticus would've known that Bob Ewell was left-handed, presuming that they both lived in Maycomb for some time.

Very good casting for Bob Ewell. Fits the novels discription of him to the T

It's sad knowing that most of the cast from this movie are no lonbger with us. We only have Robert Duvall, Philip Alvord and Mary Badham left. Also, James Anderson was awesome as Bob Ewell. He just had that menacing way....

He died in 1969 at just 48. Mary Badham said that he could be intimidating as he played his role to a tee as if he were in fact, Bob Ewell.

James Anderson was a supporting actor of the 1950s and'60s. Not a lot is known about him except he was a loner and didn't socialize a lot. It does seem to be agreed on that he was an excellent actor and sometimes intimidated those who worked with him. He died at just 48 in 1969.

Очень люблю эту книгу и этот фильм. Но Грегори Пек слишком красив и молод для роли Аттикуса Финча. ☺

Abril Garcia Rojas because Bob forgot there was supposed to be a cross examination aka Atticus also got to ask him questions and he got up to leave before Atticus got to ask

Think it's because they were against each other in Court so bumping into each other was a funny coincidence
