    This doesn’t replace the old Rogue. It replaces the Rogue Sport, which was an entirely different car than the Rogue. The Rogue lives on.

      @gobsmacked230 11 дней назад

      She was right about it replacing the Rogue ...the smaller Rogue Sport. Unfortunately it retains the same underperforming 2.0L Rogue Sport drivetrain. It is essentially a revised Rogue Sport...no great shakes there. I don't see ANYTHING groundbreaking here... just rehashed old technology with a new body. If you're into headrest speakers this is your car. Other reviews refer to its performance, ride and handling as "adequate". Nissan could have done better...this vehicle is not enough to save them.

    If really look at many of the CVT failures they were the result of owner abuse. Yes, CVT need there fluid changed often and were not designed to tow. I personally have my youngest driving a 20 Kicks SR I bought new back then. Changed the fluid at 40k. It’s the perfect vehicle for a CVT no issues.

    Great Review Laura! This New Nissan Kicks is a huge improvement over the previous version of the Kicks. Nissan had a smart move to eliminate the Juke! My Only concern is the weak HP numbers since this a 2.0 Liter Four Banger. The multi color combinations is really unnecessary in my opinion. The Spare Tire is a must for me. The Rear Hatch could be more squared off to increase interior volume and storage. Thank you.

      It's not the Mexicans that are the problem. It's the lowest cost bidder/lowest cost design/build to the warranty paradigm. When the focus becomes cost with little to no consideration for longevity, we get crap. From all of the manufacturers. The reason it's in Mexico is because of the labor costs. There's that word again: cost. Lots of poor management decisions driven completely by maximization of profit margin.

    Thought to buy the youngest one of these. A 16 yr old with her Jr ops DRL. But she is stuck on a green 23 4Runner TRD. So my brother bought her that. She's extremely spoiled by her Uncles(all 9 of them), especially JD. After all, she is learning how to turn wrenches for us, her third year. So, shes a big asset to us here.
    currently have an 11 Nissan Max SE with 188k on it that runs great, but we keep our entire fleet well maintained. We also have replaced that CVT once at 131k miles. It's a great beater. We keep the rear seat back folded and we can get a lot of parts in that car. You'd be surprised just how much. And our 12 Armada can hold a lot more cargo. No CVT there, 208k miles. Our Raptor R has like 3300 miles, because our brother mostly drives it when he's not too bust admiring it and keeping it stored away. The RAM TRX is a 22 and it has 59k miles. It's an obvious choice for parts running around here. And the kicker is, that with the rear seat being removed and the driver AND passenger seat tracks custom built longer, I can drive the thing. Even if I am peering out the back windows to get a better view as I drive. I getva kick out of people wonder what's driving Big Red. My Ford SD 350 is also customized so that I can fit. And I don't look like I'm sitting in the back. Navistar H.O. pwr!.
