Reminder that this is to protect kids from abusive parents. 40% of transgender teens who are not supported by their families attempt suicide. However, if the family is supportive, that number drops to below 10%. Parents, stop assuming that your teen never knows what’s best for them. You don’t know them better than they know themselves. And I guarantee they’re better educated on gender than you are.
