- Benny & Björn-When the waves roll out to sea
When the Waves Roll Out to Sea
Until that day my life had been a river
In a safe, predestinated course
Suddenly detouring unexpectedly
With uncompromising force
My strongholds broke down all too easily
I remember well how it did embarrass me
I hung on to his every smile, marvelled at his style
And when the waves roll out to sea
I know that he won't return for yet another year
I'll be waiting for him on this windy pier
'Til the mist is breaking, then I'll see what becomes of me
And once again the river's flowing slowly
In its own and uneventful course
And my love affair's become a memory
I recall without remorse
But all the time I wonder where he is
And I will admit he had something that I miss
I guess he was a rolling stone, the only one I've known
And when the waves roll out to sea
I know that he won't return for many days to come
I'll be waiting for him on this windy pier yet another year
And WHEN THE WAVES ROLL OUT TO SEA
(Memories growing every time, that touch)
I'm a woman with a wound that always burns
I'm forever waiting. Will I see what becomes of me? - Видеоклипы
A true Magnum Opus from B&B. It brings a tear to my eye. One of the most beautiful sounds I have had the privilege of hearing.
This is still my all time favorite instrumental.
Thanks Rob for posting. I it so sad to realize that those pictures belongs to history. Nerver to see them again on a stage makes me sentimental. Nothing lasts forever.
Hauntingly beautiful!
Beautiful just beautiful :)
Howdy Rob. Was looking back at some of the vids I've saved and came upon this one. Now I remember why I saved it. This was such a great tribute to ABBA. I remember when I first saw the video of Under Attack and watching them walk out at the end and realizing the meaning of that scene. I think it was the first time (tears) it sunk in they would never perform together again. Thanks to folks like you their magic lives on today, Lenny
This song was also included in the Swedish version of Chess when it was back on stage a few years ago. Sung by the russian caracter Molokov. Haven't found it on RUclips, but if you have Spotify you can hear it there. The title is "Glöm mig om du kan"
Wonderful song(music)
But wasn't it realized?
What happened?
