Tom Hanks, Liam Neeson and Sandra Bullock are casted as someone you don't want to travel with (Cast Away, Captain Phillips, Apollo 13, Non-Stop, The Commuter, The Grey, Speed, Speed 2 and Gravity, respectively). So, if you are on a train, a plane, even a taxi, and you see them boarding, RUN!

In Black Panther, Martin Freeman is taken to Wakanda without knowing, and in the Italian Job, Edward Norton plays the backstabbing bad guy. It's crazy how when you look you start seeing these typecasts everywhere.
Cult 70s/80s actress Jessica Harper has one of the most weirdly precise typecastings ever: up-and-coming entertainment ingenue gets drawn into dark dealings behind the scenes as she's seduced by fame: Phantom Of The Paradise, Suspiria, and Shock Treatment - her three most famous roles - all follow this, as well as her part in the lesser-known Inserts. I think Woody Allen's Stardust Memories is the only major exception among the roles she's remembered for.
Hugh Jackman is casted as someone who kills his love interest: Van Helsing (he kills Anna Valerius while transformed as a werewolf. That means he wasn't an awarewolf) and X-Men: The Last Stand, where kills Jean Grey.
