This video reveals nothing yet clearly is trying to be self-promoting. Do your own homework and research. Don't be swayed by RUclips videos about medical care.
As we all know, Tourette’s is a terrible syndrome that affects all aspects of the afflicted person’s life. Many young people are bullied by their peers and suffer terrible embarrassment from this disorder. The purpose of Dr. Brendan Stack’s video was to be informative, not self serving. In fact, years after this video was first posted, Osaka University in Japan ran an extensive study and confirmed that the orthotic appliance made by Dr. Stack is around 80% effective in abating the symptoms of TS (Tourette’s Syndrome). This study is remarkable in that hundreds of cases were examined in a well performed study and showed very conclusive results. A video like this with support from a university study only helps people understand what might be causing their symptoms and how to deal with them. There is no ‘duping’ involved, just good evidence of good treatment with hope that was not there previously.
