- This white 1965 convertible is in production and available for end of Q2 2019 delivery. Normally our lead/build time is about 12-18 months out. We just finished the upholstery in red leather and it looks fantastic in this car but can be changed if so desired. I test drove a 1965 white bug back in 1994 here in Australia and they only were asking 5 K! I wish I had bought it.It had mercedes carpeting was the only difference and did not have the cool Tesla battery

Like it, but want and need at least a 160 mile range.
It is custom built so maybe with an extra 10-20 thousand you could get extra batteries in it
