🚨Note for people with partners: It ALWAYS looks respectable, admirable, and attractive to be even *delusionally* braggy about your partner to others. Even if people disagree with you, it will make them feel good to see someone being obsessed with and proud of their own partner and to see someone who shines a spotlight on their partner’s best qualities.
It NEVER looks good or “self-aware” or cool to publicly downplay your partner or to agree with others’ more negative or mediocre perception of them.
Be their biggest fan and their biggest cheerleader. You only end up looking like an insecure idiot when you don’t. You make YOURSELF look bad. The first thing people think is, “Well I know why I’m not with that person…because they aren’t my type….but why the hell would YOU be with someone that you aren’t even that crazy about?”
Jennifer’s boyfriend was too cowardly and too concerned with being agreeable to be able to say, “My girl is #1 in my eyes because she is fine as hell! Those caramel brown eyes, her voluptuous booty, and her gorgeous smile. She deserves that #1 spot….no offense to the rest of you lovely ladies.” Simple as that! He would have looked much better (and more honest) doing that than what he chose to do - keep emphasizing what he assumed OTHERS thought of his girlfriend (that she was “simple” looking) and saying that he liked/preferred that. 🤦‍♀️

@@KanyesCousinWhoStoleHisLaptopE I disagree. The vast majority of us are dating others who could be described as “simple” or “plain” looking by media standards….but we are also insanely attracted to them, for whatever reason…and that sexual attraction we have for that person hones us in on specific things about their physical appearance that we are obsessed with or drawn to.
Hate to break it to you - but Jennifer’s boyfriend didn’t fall in love with her solely for her personality. He was physically attracted to her and should easily be able to articulate what he finds attractive. She is his “type”.
It could be the shape up her upper lip…her natural brunette hair…the curve of her hips…her “girl next door” vibes…her perfectly unblemished skin that she doesn’t hide behind makeup…the coloring of her eyes…her petite feet…her short height…the size of her boobs….etc.
People have respect for those that defend their partner publicly and act as their biggest cheerleaders. Only cowards and/or insecure people, who care more about the thoughts and opinions of others - choose not to do so for their partners. They only end up making themselves look bad in the end.
Idc who they line up next to my husband on an “attractiveness” rating test. I’m rating HIM as #1 and I can easily explain why and what I’m most physically attracted to in him. The other people in the test can objectively rate him. I would hope they also rate their own partners #1. Idc if they have my husband next to some of the most attractive celebrities of all time - my husband will NOT hear me calling him “simple looking”…because it’s disrespectful and disloyal and it’s not how I feel about him. From his head to his toes, I KNOW the physical qualities of his that turn me on and that I find sexy or handsome. THAT’S what I would be saying out loud to the group, to the internet at large, and to my man. Period.
But in a society and culture where we no longer place as high of a value on things like honor, respect, and loyalty - and tend to place the highest value on “the self”….I unfortunately can’t say that I’m surprised by your opinion or the actions of Jennifer’s boyfriend….or the dating/marriage crisis we have on our hands.

Ugh watching those girls act that way gave me the ick. This is harsh to say but you only really see people act that way when they're mediocre overall. Like you said, they lack confidence, so particularly in group dynamics people like this feel the need to act in subtle ways to justify their social standing. They disassociate from the "ugly" girl, shower each other in compliments to prove how nice they are, and they choose a queen bee (mindset coach) and give her the most attention to gain her approval in order to show the rest of the group that they're in the clique. It's what happens when people who base their self esteem on external motivation rather than internal motivation. The most attractive girl in the group would have been the one with the balls to say something nice to Jennifer and acknowledge her when she speaks. So much more classy and mature.

It truly was an appalling display, they put the businesswoman who had more experience life but was slightly more reserved at the bottom of the line and for most of the video socially isolated her out of the conversations there was no acknowledgement. They pretty much try to put themselves on their own personal pedestal trying to make themselves seem more important than the other without "hurting feelings" but it was so uncomfortable to see, and they isolated that businesswoman out of the idea that they're much younger "living the college life". They didn't think that girl had anything to offer. Women's greatest enemies /obstacles are women...

I do find it interesting that in a lot of settings (for example this video), the black girl was rated primarily for not being their "type". I didn't notice any of the guys saying this about the other girls they ranked lower - there was a specific reason. It just makes me feel like some guys cancel a black girl out just because she's black and don't really give it any thought. Like they didn't mention her height or style or vibe, just not my type. They could've said this about any of the girls, yet didn't. I think it's okay to have a type but its disappointing that in a lot of settings black women immediately aren't given a second thought and are just "not my type.

This is basically why numerical ranking systems are silly when it comes to attractivess because attraction is highly personal - an honest assesment of aesthtics would exclude preferences and take into account things like proportions, clear skin, fitness etc....which are qualities that transcend race. Someone said it about Jennifer. For Ajanea, I believe it has to do with the vibes she gives out.
For example, in another video, an Asian girl was ranked first, I believe in guys mind, it's because she was pretty, but also looked more accessible and nice. And here, you can also see that the one ranking first was not the hottest (to me, it would be no.2), but rather the one that looked pretty, unassuming and nice.
And also, like someone else said, it depends on if this other ethnicity would be attracted to you, because communities are still very closed off in America. They are less so in France (from a Parisian's perspective), Black/Hispanic/Asian people don't hang out primarily with people of their own ethnicity. I grew up and made friends with people of all kinds of ethnicities.

Literally in highschool I stopped wearing my hair in braids and wore my hair straight wavy curls at the end my senior year and all kinda guys who never showed me attention suddenly showed me attention im brown skin black soo i was like" damn show me how you really feel about my hair". Thats why my first thought is what type of black girl will someone prefer. I know this one guy who prefers a more African look as he calls it , he loved braids locs. I would be very curious how these men would act if they ever put a black woman on there who had the same hair textue style as the other women, simple style and facial features and vibe as the others girls. From my experience some men will claim they arent into black women until they meet one whos just like the white girls in every single way except skin tone. I used to get from people that i act white and then when i ditched the braids men of all races at my school let me know that i was now what they wanted. Its weird its giving eurocentric preference Thats me comparing contrasting how men treat me when my hair is straight sleek not too shiny long wavy natural looking wig basic style looking verses what im sure they probably associate my braids and funky style with ghetto. I assume so bc my white ex told me he thought we would have mote in common because i look more nice and basic. Our beautiful braids arent basic enough for some people too wild for some and i had to except that. The more i conform n look more basic in their eyes the more they approve of me as a black woman but the more i resent them for being so boring The one gurl with the braids she has a man and shell keep finding a man bc plenty men appreciate locs n braids. Id assume she was surprised bc she knows how fly she is but literally lessoned learned not everyone appreciates fly. I stop trying to seek validation from men who dont appreciate "urban or african style hair" or whatever the hell they think it is.

I do have to disagree with your distinction about racial prejudice vs racial preference. I think it is racial prejudice because racial prejudice is based on oreconceived ideas you have about a person based on their race, which makes you not want to associate with them, and those prejudices are typically based on stereotypes and exaggerations that dont reflect who that person really is. You proved your own point wrong when you said earlier in the video that no one finds you attractive until you start talking. The reason for that is because once they start talking to you, they start to see you for you and not all the prejudices they had stored up in their heads that they thought you were, and you proved those ideas wrong. Essentially, once they see you're not like THOSE black girls, so to speak, they feel more comfortable with the idea of dating you. Which lends itself to two questions, what are their true thoughts about THOSE kinds of black girls? Because if they hate those girls, they hate you too. I'm sorry to break it to you. And two, what are you doing, intentionally or unintentionally to distance yourself from the stereotypes in order to fit in with men/women who don't like you?

Yeah disagree with Kidology here. Obviously black women would be ranked last unless she was a super model. Block women are on the exact opposite end of the beauty spectrum so therefore, they don’t tend to fit western standard of beauty in most cases. Braids, tattoos, big earrings and all. It’s irrelevant - her skin and facial features aren’t close to European so she wouldn’t be picked
Women are much less hierarchal in their assessment of beauty, paying attention to detail and even stylistic choices. To women, femininity =\= skin color at all. More so accessories, style, demeanor, etc. There is an element of pandering though, as subconsciously these women knew that the black women would be picked last. By moving her first, they’re considering her feelings and ensuring they won’t be called racist. That’s not to say they find her ugly though - just not #1 in the group.
Men are much more hierarchal when it comes to these situations, preferring what the group will think is acceptable. And the group of men reliably pick the same types of women as most attractive, the “Kardashian look” as they described. This is just science - men all tend to hold each other to the same standard with little room for detail or nuance.

Please, let's not bunch all men and for that fact women together in what they preffer. I'm an European and well, i unfortunately also had early contact with porn, so of course for me European looking women are attractive. I do have to say i also did ekhm.. masturbate to dark-skinned girls. The one from this video was unattractive not *mainly* because of skin color. Rather it was combination of her personality and the fake nails, somewhat slutty (from my perspective) clothing.
That's why in terms of clothing i liked the 1st rated by girls and 2nd rater by guys girl as her clothing was opposite of revealing, was cute and fitter her in general.
However the girl rated 5th by girls and 4th by guys was definitely the keeper because of personality and facially she was actually decent but that body.. god damn.. I'll take such body over average face every day.
So please, let's not categorise every men and women into the same box and let's not pretend this is a ''science''. At this point, some people use word science or research as argument by itself. Show me the science you are talking about, because even if it exists, it still might be low quality and biased. We've got all these little boxes to put people in like oh that person's a 'nerdy guy' or she's a 'girly girl', he's a 'chav' or she's 'posh', etc. I think its just something we do to make life a bit easier to comprehend. People never really turn out to be exactly who I thought they would be at first impression. People almost never view themselves the way others do. So a setup like this just exaggerates that quite primitive part of ourselves and really says nothing about the complexity of relationships, and how your impression of someone can completely change over time. The way these videos don't make any particuar claims or contextualise their content in any way leaves the viewer to relate it to their own feeling of adequacy or inadequacy, and potentially entrenches the idea that they will only be judged in the same superficial way in the real world.

There are black women that have all the qualifications in everything in life, but because they are black, most men just see their blackness and automatically equate every black women they see as having all black negative stereotypes without even having a conversation with one in real life or on a dating app. Black women have the hardest time on dating apps too since I'm not surprised you Kidology had a hard time on the dating apps. I'm not surprised at all. And the men in the comments section saying they'd date you if they saw you on these dating apps are most likely liars who wouldn't check out your profile or send a text message. Real life is unfair, but dating apps make it a silently loud over exaggeration. This topic is so uncomfortable and sad to talk about, but the people who will disagree that life can be this unforgiving are lying to themselves. I'm a black woman myself and I believe bringing this conversation awareness will make people who are not black women realize that black women are not a monolith, we are not to be feared, and to be specifically kinder to black women in public. This is just a "hey, it's life" kind of commentary.

I’m not a supermodel, but I’ve been picked over whites girls before. So I don’t know what y’all are talking about when you say stuff like that. But keep in mind these were white guys who chose me over them, I feel if it was a POC man, ESPECIALLY an East Asian or an Indian, they would’ve chose a white girl. The idea of ranking people on attractiveness is inherently stupid because it’s subjective.
That being said, I understand that society, history, and individuals’ backgrounds and experiences play a role in who we find attractive in a group and individual setting.
“Ignoring someone else and not affirming them because the group is doing that and you’ve been accepted into the group” is an amazing way to begin this conversation.
That being said too, I won’t say who I think is the most attractive. For the black girl, the biracial looking or Filipino guy ranked her high. But for some reason, it feels like his opinion was devalued in your video. It gave a similar vibe like how you were saying the girl group did not ask or listen to Jennifer’s input
Some other points kidology made that I thought were awesome:
“They’re feeding off the fact that they’re “not Jennifer.”
Overall, I think jubilee is geared towards people with lower levels of intelligence/unwilling to think that deeply. Watching some of jubilees other content such as their disagree/agree series, the questions they ask are not nuanced or clever.
To end, patriarchy is at play here (subconsciously valuing the men’s opinions over the women’s - seeing their opinions as more “objective”😬 ……..and love at first sight is nonsense😂
    Anyways, I’m done.

It’s very weird to say, but for me as a man when considering a girls attractiveness, I actually consider how much girls who look like that have been attracted to me in the past.
So as a black guy, I would say that the black girl and the kind of hispanic girl are types of girls that have been interested in me in the past, and so I naturally rank them up higher, along with the letterman jacket black haired white girl. Meanwhile, the tall blonde girl is a type of girl that has never given me attention before, so I find myself naturally ranking her a bit lower.
My point with this is that I think the white guys are ranking black girls lower because they just have never grown up with a girl like that being interested in them.

The girls who I talked to more were the ones like Jennifer, Jacket, and tall chick. Skirt would have been last to me, but then again those girls never gave me the time of day not even just in the dating perspective, just friendship in general. Also, when it comes to black women the skinnier black women specifically with the personality and appearance that she presents, those were the girls who weren't nice to me, and I do find them less attractive at face value......I got treated like Jennifer as a kid. There's a lot of nuiance. I'm not going to say that colorism or racial preference is not at play for that men's ratings. A couple of things.
    1. A 'mindset coach', which is to say a 'life coach'... at 23. She hasn't lived yet. That is automatically a turn off for many.
    2. The nails. Don't get me wrong, they are BEAUTIFUL. But we're talking about Men in Relationships here. "Want to go shoot some hoops? Oh, you can't... the nails." A lot of Women are going to love those nails... a lot of Men are going to see 'High Maintenance' in those nails. They are going to see something that is going to get in the way with some activities. And no way you ask for them removed so an activity can happen... she would resent him for that.
So while she is attractive... I can see things other than race that set her apart from the rest of the Women on this.
Also, and I mention this because it pertains to the prism we view through... remember, these are Men in Relationships likely thinking in that context... if this was 'Who would you have sex with?' the answers might very well be difference. Many guys would handle those nails for a night in bed... it's a different thing entirely in context of a relationship and trying to engage and do things where those nails might be in the way.

On a pure physical level, Sophia is the most attractive in the group. The "beauty is subjective" maxim is almost always brought up in conversations and debates about aesthetics. I would agree that the concept of certain physical features being more or less attractive than others, is subjective and based on individual preferences. However, there are certain quantitative determinants like, waist-to-hip ratio, bodily and facial symmetry, and how the individual facial features are spatially related to each other, which are decidedly objective. These determinants, more or less, remain constant over time and exist independently of culture and race. A low waist-to-hip ratio is especially important because it demonstrates femininity.
My saying this could be seen as potentially reductionist or in the realm of biological essentialism but there are traits which we just instinctively perceive as being more attractive than others. We live in society as opposed to a State of Nature, but humans still operate on primal mechanisms, even if subconsciously. Recognizing that some people are objectively more attractive than others only becomes problematic when that person's instrinsic value becomes solely dependent on their appearance.
Also, Kidology, I agree with the other commenters on here who say that you're physically attractive. I find it kind of strange that you don't see this in yourself. You are also clearly intelligent, erudite, well-spoken, and mild-mannered, which adds to your overall attractiveness. But then again, your intellect and the way you analyze current cultural phenomena is the reason I'm subscribed to your channel in the first place.

I find these kinds of videos... interesting, with a slice of a bomastic side-eye. Obviously, these ratings are very subjective. And obviously every bf will rate their gf as no. 1 on the attractiveness scale. Also, there is no standardization for the raters and the rated. For instance, everybody has their own style, body type, size, height preferences etc that factor into their rating. So, what really quantifies what the guys use to rate the women? I mean one guy even used "cool socks" as a factor.
Also, considering the "metrics" these guys used, it becomes obvious that different guys in different spaces would have very different ratings for the women. E.g, guys who are artists/in the art spaces would probably rate them differently than guys who are in Law or banking or sports etc.
Also, the viewers personal biases start to play out when the women are trying to figure out how to rate eachother. The women you previously ranked at a certain level might go up or down when they start interacting with eachother. People who perceive "shyness" or "loudness" as attractive will skew their ratings to that. So what really informs what we find attractive?
Basically, what I'm saying is - there are a lot of moving parts/shifting variables in this show and it is not to be taken seriously... by any means. Obviously

You think someone who's doing a PhD in a STEM subject and is a top athlete has superficial confidence based only on looks + youth? She seems to be pretty proud of her achievements. And having being around academic types I know that they often see their body as just something that carries their brain around and don't bother improving themselves physically very much (not always of course). Sounds like you completely misjudged the vibe.

15:40 nah it's not the same, there's plenty of men who love tall girls. tall with limitations, like 5'7-5'9, I'm pretty sure 5'7 is considered universally to be the most attractive height for women just as 6'0 is for men, although it may have dropped to 5'5 in recent years for women since men are getting shorter and shorter. Tall girls = long, more attractive legs than short girls. Also looking thinner and generally appearing to have a nicer body. But there are literally no benefits to being a short male.

The issue is the male gaze is different than the female gaze.
there is bias, for ones on race.
i date all races of women.
But i often go for black girls even if they are less attractive than a asian or hispanice girl. i often times pick a black girl over another race if i have the options.
to be honest i love black women, but phyiscally from the neck down she is not what i find the most attractive out of this line up.
i would probably pick her if i was somewhere an i only had two choices her and another girl of another race.
But realistically if we go by body.
The two who are the best looking are not the black girl.

20:57 "How differently?" What do you mean? It's not like it was a huge difference - the black girl just got moved from first to last. Everyone else was in the same position relative to each other. The only surprising thing about this particular episode of "women, then men rank women's attractiveness" by that same channel is that the men's order wasn't nearly a mirror opposite of the women's order. Women love to lie to other women about how pretty they are when they really aren't. In this case, I suspect the other four just realized that they might be perceived as racist if they didn't rank the black girl #1 in looks.

At the same time the black girl was still better looking than the last 4/10 white girl.

the black girl def isn't the best looking but she's def not the worst, being objective. The least attractive girl is jennifer, going based on facial aesthetics.

Also western standards are at play here. Black women defy typical western standards, hence the "You're pretty for a black girl" stereotype.

Honestly Kidology. You are gorgeous. I'm not saying that out of pity or anything. You are fundamentally an incredibly beautiful and sexy girl. It's just everything about you, the way you speak the way you laugh, your skin, your eyes, your cuteness, your charisma everything. Don't ever think that guys out there don't find you attractive, it's nonsense.
