    it's funny that everybody very neatly brushes the ballast off the railroad ties [sleepers ] but I've looked at a lot of tracks here in texas and the ballast covers them.

      Thank you for your comment. In my area (Italy) all the sleepers are clean from the ballast. You can also check many pictures that are on Internet. Of course, not everywhere the sleepers are so clean but that is a choice of reproduction.

    I plan to build up a new Märklin layout with the K-tracks. I see you did used mixed track glue with the water and wood glue. But will this not affect rust on the metal under the K-tracks?

      @@buzzaceto Okey i will try too to use K-tracks. Koemo ballast seems very hard to find in Sweden, so i shall try shop via internet.
