Wonderful technique and video (et musique!) Years ago I used to travel from England to France (for one pound) and bring back hundreds of pains au chocolat! They were inexpensive in Calais and unheard of in England then. I'm ashamed to say that I ate about 50 during the first week back and then gave the rest away. I shall try your recipe using French butter! (And English chocolate!)

Is it possible to prepare these with whole wheat flour?
Hi Sweta, As whole wheat flour contain more bran particles, bread made with whole wheat flour will not rise as much as that of one made with plain flour. So I don’t prefer using 100% whole wheat flour for making this croissants.
