And coppa hasn't helped yes the old youtube kids awful videos are gone but now they use horror game characters hazbin hotel digital circus yes it may not be for kids anymore it could get kids into that content not made for kids it's conserning

It's so strange that a few years ago I would get more recommendations about lps and they weren't as blocked as they are now. I am still a bit confused how RUclips think that COPPA is working. It's really sad how everything has changed.
amazing video! that point about lego videos not being affected is really interesting.. i always assumed that because LPS & beanie boo channels were affected all toy channels would be 🤔 i’ve always considered disney “general audience” content too so that’s why i found it so strange that the one time i talk about disney they mark my video for “kids”? as if similar to LPS.. playhouse disney isn’t like 20+ years old.

And I agree, the machine learning used to make these flags doesn't appear to account for the AGE of topics, like G2 LPS from 2005 or Playhouse Disney from the 1990s. It seems to just takes images of toys at face-level, and doesn't consider the complexity of a topic or video beyond the initial jobs-to-be-done ❌

This coppa rule makes me so sad a lot of my favorite lpstubers left that being lpshanna her last video broke me and not just lpstubers a lot of mlp creators especially animators are getting effected by this rule.

I understand that COPPA is to protect kids, but some changes were just so unnecessary. RUclips could’ve kept the comments, but remove comments that are deemed “inappropriate” for kids or just inappropriate in general. This might be annoying, but I think this would be helpful. RUclipsrs should be able to see comments, they mean so much! (Also yes, why did they remove the MiniPlayer for COPPA deemed content!)
Yeah I remember the Coppa thing I used to watch LPS Tube from 2011-2019 daily and I had lps I got old and slowly stopped but I remember the Coppa thing Hannah LPS quit because of it and a lot of others did but at least lps tube is coming back again thanks puppylover863 I still remember the numbers somehow
When i was a lpstuber, i used to state in the title of my videos they were made for everyone but they always marked my videos only for kids and i always stated that my videos were for everyone, but they wouldnt listen, i got frustrated trying to do that so i quit...but, i plan to be an lpstuber again!
It saddens me that COPPA as been effecting LPS youtubers for so long. Some have even left because of it, we are greatful that you guys have been calling out COPPA for ruining the LPStube community and how it as effected many of us. Lets hope once and for all that COPPA will stop targeting this community because it means so much to all of us. we love you all and stay strong!!💖

I dislike when people say animation etc is made for kids like look at any adult show for me Hazbin Hotel you can see its not made for kids now with the Adult Themes now let's take Digital Circus the brite Colors may actract kids but the dark comedy content isn't for kids yes it's more family friendly then hazbin because no swearing and adult themes but still not for kids my content is manly family friendly but I'm an adult I enjoy hazbin hotel and when I post about that show in my community Tab it's not in the family friendly space anymore therefore I don't recommend my channel for young viewers I grew up with Barbie LPS and my little pony therefore I enjoy those videos still as a 18 year old and in general
On my LPS channel (ruki lps) I deliberately added swears to a circus movie to avoid it automatically being set as for kids. The plot is a horror story not itneded for people under 13, just using kids toys as actors. I had to go back to the video nearly every hour for about a week because RUclips kept marking it “for kids” and it’s so aggravating because it says in the TOS that you can get in trouble for labeling things not for kids as such. I was so scared I would get a strike for THEM changing it automatically if a horror movie popped up on YTkids
This is such an important video to make. Despite what RUclips says, we really DON’T have the choice to say whether our videos are made for kids for not. I want to be able to just upload a video and then go about my day or go to sleep, but instead I have to be near my phone for at least a few hours, making sure the comments stay on. Sometimes, I’ve had to turn the comments back on more than five times. One of my videos has been randomly marked as Made For Kids months after it was first uploaded, and stayed that way even after I submitted an appeal. I really dislike how you can’t even see an archive of the comments after the video is marked as Made For Kids. They’re just gone forever. I’m not going to take screenshots of all the comments I ever get, just in case. It shouldn’t have to be that way. I don’t think RUclips should be using bots for things like this. These changes can drastically affect someone’s life and career. I would at least like to have the option to be notified if comments on one of my videos have been turned off. It’s strange how LEGO videos aren’t really affected by COPPA. I don’t know about other kids, but when I was a kid watching LPSTube (and RUclips in general), I never left comments on videos, and if I had, I would have known not to put in personal information. I didn’t have my own Google account; I’d be signed into a family member’s account. I never subscribed to a channel, commented on their videos, or even clicked “Like” on a video. I knew not to, so I didn’t. I have hope that maybe RUclips will fix how it works, since it’s still a somewhat new policy. I’ve never considered contacting Team RUclips on Twitter, but I might have to try it sometime! Thank you for speaking about this and having other LPSTubers speak about it as well. This video was very well-made and I enjoyed watching. 💗 A message to any LPSTubers or aspiring LPSTubers who may be reading this: You’re not alone in your struggles and concerns about COPPA, and I encourage you to still make LPS content. ❤️
RUclips hasn't marked my videos made for kids if you see made for kids on my videos it was me because it's mlp toys and it has nothing bad in the youtube short but yes I don't like youtube kids just I feel bad for mlp stop-motion and LPs tubers I probably will make LPs vids but once I get the new LPS but idk on and the poor bronies who got their not family friendly mlp content on youtube kids which is awful but my audience watching isn't kids I'm 18 and still enjoy mlp and barbie but I also matured a little bit I like Hazbin hotel as of January an adult show last year got into digital circus I grew up with barbie LPS and my little pony and still own my childhood toys. Lots of the mlp/LPS tubers I grew up watching

I'm sorry this happened to y'all and more! 👏👏👏👏 😭 This issue unites us, I miss the days of being an LPSTuber before COPPA, we had plentiful comments. 🥺 It's definitely harder to keep some comments sections on sometimes. I'm grateful for any engagement on my channel. 💙
Normally I don't comment on old videos but I do have some thoughts about this. I'm actually brand new to LPStube. I've been aware of it but my fandom of LPS itself has always been casual and I've never actually collected any (but that's gonna change soon). When that does change I do want to at least try out making videos. Nothing fancy because I don't have that capability, but I still want to give it a go! Pretty sure nobody will ever find my vids whenever they happen, but just in case, I really hope that I don't get hit by COPPA. We shall see when that time comes. Protecting kids online is super important of course, but how youtube does it just isn't the right way. I've seen so many people get affected by RUclips's automated detection and it's real frustrating to watch. Apologies for this wall of text but I'm neurodivergent and tend to ramble sometimes. Anyway, even as a casual who is new to LPStube even as a viewer, I love this community already. Y'all are so accepting and nice and I love that.
For years I made content of LPS, MH and horse models and couldn't grow my account because of COPPA and the "kids safety features" When I made my current account I made it clear that my content is for older viewers and collectors, I have placed a warning in the beginning of each video and on my channel, pressed the "not for kids" when uploading videos but its no use, my comment sections get turned off after I press allow all comments (MULTIPLE TIMES) I can't advertise my channel and keep my authentictisy as well. I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but I strongly believe kids should be shielded from social media and the internet, I don't think its wise to allow children to go roaming on the internet and the "kids safety" mode or locks don't work or at least well, it has caused wonderful creators to quit making videos and content that they and others love. I believe that if your content or video has anything that could be "disturbing" should have a warning however everyone does that, it is made clear that a lot of content made with LPS, MH isn't for children and yet no one can grow their content including myself. sorry, kinda went off there but love your content !
LENGHTY COMMENT! But amazing video Puppylover863 and all the participants! Here's my story and thoughts. When I turned 18 back in 2019 I was so excited to finally monetize my content since I was of age to. Being a filmmaker was and still is my dream. But then when COPPA came into play when I heard about the 42k fine, I was scared and demonetized my channel. I heard from another source that COPPA and the FTC wouldn't fine anyone that much money but would fine an amount a creator could afford, but there's no way that would be determined logically. So I wasn't taking any risks. If COPPA never came into play whatever money I probably would've made, I would basically be working from home. I probably would've still gotten a "real job" anyway, but irregardless if COPPA never came into play, I would have been so happy making money doing the talent I've been doing over the past 10 years of my life. I'm genuinely happy making videos for everyone, monetized or not. It's my escape from reality. As my videos are definitely targeted to more adults and some teens too, I'm always happy when anyone who watches my videos, enjoys my videos. But I still stand on my belief that content creators are not babysitters. If anyone should be monitoring children, it's the parents. I just wish that RUclips wasn't so vague with explaining the consequences of people who break the laws made. Especially with that fine. I would need more info on that because what if god forbid I monetize my channel and next thing I know COPPA says my video is for kids and I argue it's not and then I have a giant bill I can't pay at my doorstep.
Yeah... this basically happened to me. Coppa was a little bit of the reason why i left LPStube (not officially). But other reasons take it into account why I left. I grew up, lost interest... i would love to get back into LPSTube again and stat making videos again but i feel like i dont have an audience to come back to and afraid I'll leave again.
I loved the message in the video!! ❤️Since COPPA started I felt so discouraged of making short films and skits for my channel. However, after exploring throughout the community; showing their videos of their creativity and optimism helped me to regain my love for my channel again!! I definitely feel the LPS Community will have a comeback from the COPPA effects !!🫶‼️
i’m trying to educate myself more about this, but i think that’s why my comments have been being disabled a lot dispite changing my settings. it seems to keep going back and it’s really frustrating
I really hope that RUclips will see this. There are some very good points made in this video. I was thinking about making a parody series of a real pg13 show, but because of COPPA I'm not sure if I can.
I have been a viewer of LPStube almost my whole entire life, I used to watch your #dareus and royal secrets along with all of Hannah’s videos, she was one of my favorite all time creators. I had always wanted to be an LPstuber, and when COPPA struck our community my heart broke, our once passionate loving popular community slowly faded away due to this change. If I am being honest COPPA did not change much to RUclips besides literally taking creators jobs that had a primary kid-friendly audience. I’m not sure why it was so necessary to take that away, I want to be a creator I want to be show my ideas and I remember when LPs videos would get 100k+ videos back in 2011-2018 and then during 2020 when COPPA hit they slowly started going down as of now in 2024 the views are max of 70k views.
9:39 it’s to prevent a incident that happened were there were like links to €P or prn websites in the comments of videos with children in them or videos for children, and kids were meeting adults in there. Can understand why they would limit that but still, yea.
Lpspikamaryproductions123 is my lps channel and I don’t swear either and it just made me not want to post as much on this channel anymore but the only content I really post is unboxing now and it really hurts with no comments and less views and likes
I miss comments on some videos 🥺 One of the main issues as I had understood it(there was evidence of it shared by others, but I'm not sure if it was said by Coppa), was that consistently many predators would communicate there, sending links, posting their unsavoury opinions on the children, or animals, posting letters/words(as some sorta weird code normal people don't understand? 😓) and numbers, like timestamps, to see the poor kids(& animals) from the videos.. So, I understand Why the company would wanna get rid of THAT STUFF, making them not comment at all.. But yeah it hurts Us too! so I think maybe a good idea instead of barring comments completely, is there could be some kind of system that detects those people and comments, *(IG like how they remember hashtags or something?)* and delete them as soon as they're posted; they won't get a chance to talk or spread stuff then. (it being automated, then checked/confirmed by people, or only with people??) Like, if it's a certain phrase, too many words of that "kind", or the specific timestamps.. Also maybe the system could somehow check or keep track of those accounts whose comments that got deleted, maybe they continuely comment like that *(y'know how now you can press a channel n see a comment history?.. That's kinda my vision IG lol!)* or even maybe, possibly there was also obviously questionable vids on the channels, so then they could ban the channel/account. Since they'd seem suspicious if it kept happening in a short time, right? 🤔🤔 IDK, I hope this idea could work & won't hurt people more by feeling 'gatekept'. 😔 ed: About the weird miniplayer thing, I sorta speculate they think like maybe some weirdo would like, suspend the poor kid's video to watch them more, and they already don't want them commenting, saving or sharing it... Like, I guess so, that IS terrible, but.. it seems a bit more broad than taking comments. Like how would you know their doing that specific thing with the video?-- Stopping them Is good, but.... Scratch that, 2 videos of "world's dumbest... on my channel. I did show my face but i felt very uncomfortable about showing my face on camera.
I really hope they stop muting comments on my lps channel I’ve had for a 11 years and had stopped making content since 2020 and just started posting a little slowly, I just hope they consider letting comments be cut on for most of our channels bc I really love seeing all the fans comments
Incredible job on this video! It's such an important topic in our community, and everyone involved did such a good job at discussing and sharing their own experiences and opinions with it! It's such a shame that we have all had to deal with these issues for so long when other toy communities like Lego aren't as affected by it😔. LPSTube is such an amazing and creative community, and hopefully things will get better for it in the future! Overall, this video was so beautifully made and everyone involved did SUCH an awesome job with it!🥰
As a small lpstuber I personally haven't dealt with videos getting flagging as 'for kids', that seems to mostly happen to larger creators and/or highly viewed videos, so it was interesting to hear from the perspective of people who have. COPPA strikes have always felt like this looming threat if my channel were to get more popular. I really enjoy the community aspect of lpstube and it would be so demotivating to have that taken away from my channel. It's pretty interesting that lego content is less affected. I don't watch or make lego videos (or other non-lps toy videos in general) so I just assumed it would be the same. I really do wonder what youtube's reasoning for that is. It makes me curious if there are other mostly unaffected toy communities on youtube or if lego is unique with that.
This video is so inspiring 🎉 Honestly I hadn't thought about COPPA in awhile since it didn’t seem to affect the content I was watching, but as I'm joining into LPS Tube now its something that's always kind of worming its way back into my life. It's so sad to hear about the LPS Tubers that left because of COPPA and the negative affects it still has on the community 😥

I’m shocked that no one talks about it, but there is a RUclips KIDS for a reason! I think they should really rethink the rules. The whole point of RUclips Kids is to put them a safer place for the young kids than the actual RUclips. I hope things can get better soon in the future:)
This was astounding and informative! I feel it is so unjust that COPPA has struck creative LPS creators that it caused some of them to quit, which is saddening. Long ago in the Stone Age I was a small lpstuber as well but then I left due to hate 😢 I will never forget my pets and my days filing random stuff no scripts
This is my own experience with coppa i was a toyyoutuber back in 2017 in highschool and when coppa came around i was devastated and upset and my own vids have been targeted as made for kids . one of mine that was marked for kids was me showing off my customs and most of the custom toys i have done were not from kid friendly media like twewy and persona 5 and etc. after that happened i havent made toy vids on here and moved them to tiktok and insta and then as of now as a college student i now make amvs and some of them still get marked but it leaves me alone most of the time. one of my amvs that was marked had media from not kid friendly media like master detective raincode and etc. i believe coppa effected my way of making videos and also due to the fact i got older and started to branch out into other things. i also saw tokyo ghoul bein marked for kids on here which left me confused cuz its not a kid friendly media. i still do toy customizing and i mostly make amvs and cosplay videos now mostly and i do gaming stuff now but restating that yes coppa affected in the way i create content now. most of my toy videos now are deleted or privated on here now and i mostly upload under twitch and insta and tiktok cuz my vids dont get targeted easily on there and i have more creative freedom. I apologise if this is long and thx for reading tessa out.

When i was a lpstuber, i used to state in the title of my videos they were made for everyone but they always marked my videos only for kids and i always stated that my videos were for everyone, but they wouldnt listen, i got frustrated trying to do that so i quit...but, i plan to be an lpstuber again!
It saddens me that COPPA as been effecting LPS youtubers for so long. Some have even left because of it, we are greatful that you guys have been calling out COPPA for ruining the LPStube community and how it as effected many of us. I dislike when people say animation etc is made for kids like look at any adult show for me Hazbin Hotel you can see its not made for kids now with the Adult Themes now let's take Digital Circus the brite Colors may actract kids but the dark comedy content isn't for kids yes it's more family friendly then hazbin because no swearing and adult themes but still not for kids my content is manly family friendly but I'm an adult I enjoy hazbin hotel and when I post about that show in my community Tab it's not in the family friendly space anymore therefore I don't recommend my channel for young viewers I grew up with Barbie LPS and my little pony therefore I enjoy those videos still as a 18 year old and in general
Don't forget about Adult Swim. That's another example of animation not being just for kids.

On my LPS channel (ruki lps) I deliberately added swears to a circus movie to avoid it automatically being set as for kids. The plot is a horror story not itneded for people under 13, just using kids toys as actors. I had to go back to the video nearly every hour for about a week because RUclips kept marking it “for kids” and it’s so aggravating because it says in the TOS that you can get in trouble for labeling things not for kids as such. I was so scared I would get a strike for THEM changing it automatically if a horror movie popped up on YTkids

This is such an important video to make. Despite what RUclips says, we really DON’T have the choice to say whether our videos are made for kids for not. I want to be able to just upload a video and then go about my day or go to sleep, but instead I have to be near my phone for at least a few hours, making sure the comments stay on. Sometimes, I’ve had to turn the comments back on more than five times. One of my videos has been randomly marked as Made For Kids months after it was first uploaded, and stayed that way even after I submitted an appeal. I really dislike how you can’t even see an archive of the comments after the video is marked as Made For Kids. They’re just gone forever. I’m not going to take screenshots of all the comments I ever get, just in case. It shouldn’t have to be that way. I don’t think RUclips should be using bots for things like this. These changes can drastically affect someone’s life and career. I would at least like to have the option to be notified if comments on one of my videos have been turned off. It’s strange how LEGO videos aren’t really affected by COPPA. I don’t know about other kids, but when I was a kid watching LPSTube (and RUclips in general), I never left comments on videos, and if I had, I would have known not to put in personal information. I didn’t have my own Google account; I’d be signed into a family member’s account. I never subscribed to a channel, commented on their videos, or even clicked “Like” on a video. I knew not to, so I didn’t. I have hope that maybe RUclips will fix how it works, since it’s still a somewhat new policy. I’ve never considered contacting Team RUclips on Twitter, but I might have to try it sometime!

RUclips hasn't marked my videos made for kids if you see made for kids on my videos it was me because it's mlp toys and it has nothing bad in the youtube short but yes I don't like youtube kids just I feel bad for mlp stop-motion and LPs tubers I probably will make LPs vids but once I get the new LPS but idk on and the poor bronies who got their not family friendly mlp content on youtube kids which is awful but my audience watching isn't kids I'm 18 and still enjoy mlp and barbie but I also matured a little bit I like Hazbin hotel as of January an adult show last year got into digital circus I grew up with barbie LPS and my little pony and still own my childhood toys. Lots of the mlp/LPS tubers I grew up watching

Normally I don't comment on old videos but I do have some thoughts about this. I'm actually brand new to LPStube. I've been aware of it but my fandom of LPS itself has always been casual and I've never actually collected any (but that's gonna change soon). When that does change I do want to at least try out making videos. Nothing fancy because I don't have that capability, but I still want to give it a go! Pretty sure nobody will ever find my vids whenever they happen, but just in case, I really hope that I don't get hit by COPPA. We shall see when that time comes. Protecting kids online is super important of course, but how youtube does it just isn't the right way. I've seen so many people get affected by RUclips's automated detection and it's real frustrating to watch. Apologies for this wall of text but I'm neurodivergent and tend to ramble sometimes. Anyway, even as a casual who is new to LPStube even as a viewer, I love this community already. Y'all are so accepting and nice and I love that.
For years I made content of LPS, MH and horse models and couldn't grow my account because of COPPA and the "kids safety features"
When I made my current account I made it clear that my content is for older viewers and collectors, I have placed a warning in the beginning of each video and on my channel, pressed the "not for kids" when uploading videos but its no use, my comment sections get turned off after I press allow all comments (MULTIPLE TIMES) I can't advertise my channel and keep my authentictisy as well.
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but I strongly believe kids should be shielded from social media and the internet, I don't think its wise to allow children to go roaming on the internet and the "kids safety" mode or locks don't work or at least well, it has caused wonderful creators to quit making videos and content that they and others love. I believe that if your content or video has anything that could be "disturbing" should have a warning however everyone does that, it is made clear that a lot of content made with LPS, MH isn't for children and yet no one can grow their content including myself.

When I turned 18 back in 2019 I was so excited to finally monetize my content since I was of age to. Being a filmmaker was and still is my dream. But then when COPPA came into play when I heard about the 42k fine, I was scared and demonetized my channel. I heard from another source that COPPA and the FTC wouldn't fine anyone that much money but would fine an amount a creator could afford, but there's no way that would be determined logically. So I wasn't taking any risks. If COPPA never came into play whatever money I probably would've made, I would basically be working from home. I probably would've still gotten a "real job" anyway, but irregardless if COPPA never came into play, I would have been so happy making money doing the talent I've been doing over the past 10 years of my life. I'm genuinely happy making videos for everyone, monetized or not. It's my escape from reality. As my videos are definitely targeted to more adults and some teens too, I'm always happy when anyone who watches my videos, enjoys my videos. But I still stand on my belief that content creators are not babysitters. If anyone should be monitoring children, it's the parents. I just wish that RUclips wasn't so vague with explaining the consequences of people who break the laws made. Especially with that fine. I would need more info on that because what if god forbid I monetize my channel and next thing I know COPPA says my video is for kids and I argue it's not and then I have a giant bill I can't pay at my doorstep.
Yeah... this basically happened to me. Coppa was a little bit of the reason why i left LPStube (not officially). But other reasons take it into account why I left. I grew up, lost interest... i would love to get back into LPSTube again and stat making videos again but i feel like i dont have an audience to come back to and afraid I'll leave again.
I loved the message in the video!! ❤️Since COPPA started I felt so discouraged of making short films and skits for my channel. However, after exploring throughout the community; showing their videos of their creativity and optimism helped me to regain my love for my channel again!! I definitely feel the LPS Community will have a comeback from the COPPA effects !!🫶‼️

I have been a viewer of LPStube almost my whole entire life, I used to watch your #dareus and royal secrets along with all of Hannah’s videos, she was one of my favorite all time creators. I had always wanted to be an LPstuber, and when COPPA struck our community my heart broke, our once passionate loving popular community slowly faded away due to this change. If I am being honest COPPA did not change much to RUclips besides literally taking creators jobs that had a primary kid-friendly audience. I’m not sure why it was so necessary to take that away, I want to be a creator I want to be show my ideas and I remember when LPs videos would get 100k+ videos back in 2011-2018 and then during 2020 when COPPA hit they slowly started going down as of now in 2024 the views are max of 70k views.
9:39 it’s to prevent a incident that happened were there were like links to €P or prn websites in the comments of videos with children in them or videos for children, and kids were meeting adults in there. Can understand why they would limit that but still, yea.

One of the main issues as I had understood it(there was evidence of it shared by others, but I'm not sure if it was said by Coppa), was that consistently many predators would communicate there, sending links, posting their unsavoury opinions on the children, or animals, posting letters/words(as some sorta weird code normal people don't understand? 😓) and numbers, like timestamps, to see the poor kids(& animals) from the videos..
So, I understand Why the company would wanna get rid of THAT STUFF, making them not comment at all.. But yeah it hurts Us too! so I think maybe a good idea instead of barring comments completely, is there could be some kind of system that detects those people and comments, *(IG like how they remember hashtags or something?)* and delete them as soon as they're posted; they won't get a chance to talk or spread stuff then.
(it being automated, then checked/confirmed by people, or only with people??) Like, if it's a certain phrase, too many words of that "kind", or the specific timestamps..
Also maybe the system could somehow check or keep track of those accounts whose comments that got deleted, maybe they continuely comment like that *(y'know how now you can press a channel n see a comment history?.. That's kinda my vision IG lol!)* or even maybe, possibly there was also obviously questionable vids on the channels, so then they could ban the channel/account. Since they'd seem suspicious if it kept happening in a short time, right? 🤔🤔 IDK, I hope this idea could work & won't hurt people more by feeling 'gatekept'. 😔
ed: About the weird miniplayer thing, I sorta speculate they think like maybe some weirdo would like, suspend the poor kid's video to watch them more, and they already don't want them commenting, saving or sharing it... Like, I guess so, that IS terrible, but.. it seems a bit more broad than taking comments. Like how would you know their doing that specific thing with the video?-- Stopping them Is good, but....

Incredible job on this video! It's such an important topic in our community, and everyone involved did such a good job at discussing and sharing their own experiences and opinions with it! It's such a shame that we have all had to deal with these issues for so long when other toy communities like Lego aren't as affected by it😔. LPSTube is such an amazing and creative community, and hopefully things will get better for it in the future! Overall, this video was so beautifully made and everyone involved did SUCH an awesome job with it!🥰
As a small lpstuber I personally haven't dealt with videos getting flagging as 'for kids', that seems to mostly happen to larger creators and/or highly viewed videos, so it was interesting to hear from the perspective of people who have. COPPA strikes have always felt like this looming threat if my channel were to get more popular. I really enjoy the community aspect of lpstube and it would be so demotivating to have that taken away from my channel.
It's pretty interesting that lego content is less affected. I don't watch or make lego videos (or other non-lps toy videos in general) so I just assumed it would be the same. I really do wonder what youtube's reasoning for that is. It makes me curious if there are other mostly unaffected toy communities on youtube or if lego is unique with that.

I was had in 2019 a youtube channel, when i making LPS videos, but my dad took my Tablet/ The google or youtube dont want me to upload videos.
I’m shocked that no one talks about it, but there is a RUclips KIDS for a reason! I think they should really rethink the rules. The whole point of RUclips Kids is to put them a safer place for the young kids than the actual RUclips. I hope things can get better soon in the future:)

This is my own experience with coppa i was a toyyoutuber back in 2017 in highschool and when coppa came around i was devastated and upset and my own vids have been targeted as made for kids . one of mine that was marked for kids was me showing off my customs and most of the custom toys i have done were not from kid friendly media like twewy and persona 5 and etc. after that happened i havent made toy vids on here and moved them to tiktok and insta and then as of now as a college student i now make amvs and some of them still get marked but it leaves me alone most of the time. one of my amvs that was marked had media from not kid friendly media like master detective raincode and etc. i believe coppa effected my way of making videos and also due to the fact i got older and started to branch out into other things. i also saw tokyo ghoul bein marked for kids on here which left me confused cuz its not a kid friendly media. i still do toy customizing and i mostly make amvs and cosplay videos now mostly and i do gaming stuff now but restating that yes coppa affected in the way i create content now. most of my toy videos now are deleted or privated on here now and i mostly upload under twitch and insta and tiktok cuz my vids dont get targeted easily on there and i have more creative freedom. I apologise if this is long and thx for reading tessa out.
