Omg, for a sec it looked like the thumbnail was of you smoking weed and holding a pregnancy test 😂.

Fun fact about the mobile game, the actual LPS toys that you could buy at the time tended to come with cards, which you could scan and then see that pet in the game

the shutdown Gameloft game was my CHILDHOOD with a C. i would play it every chance i got, and i always wanted to grow my place more and more. caring for them (particularly the ball game) was my favorite part of the whole experience 😭💕

  • @pokemonlpsfan

the LPS plug and play was such an integral piece of my childhood. the amount of time i spent playing the minigames especially the bowling and race games was ridiculous lmao. i'm so glad you brought it up 🥺

I'm kind of sad most people gloss over it (although I doubt there's much to cover anyways) but when people talk about LPSO they tend to forget the predecessor LPS VIP which was a different site. By the time I got an LPS VIP the game was completely empty and on the verge of shutting down (in favor of LPSO), but it's really nostalgic to me.

  • @ControlFreakout

I never really touched any of these… but as someone who was around in the small and weird LPS 2012

  • @amesstarline5482

LPSO mentioned- Weirdly, I remember more about the plush than the game.

I remember playing LPS on the hot driveway of my dead granny with a neighbor girl almost everyday. I had a bag full that I gave away, whats a fool I was…

  • @BeeTeaBoi

OH THE LITTLE LPS TOMODACHI!!! I had a kitty cat one! I used that thing for HOURS

An old friend once had an LPS DS game as a kid and he didn't want to try these pink sunglasses on his cat because they were "too girly".

  • @riskscratch

I'm surprised you forgot to mention LPS Shop Your World. Rather than being a city builder, it was a direct tie in with the TV show. You could scan physical toys into the game, and with time built up floors of the Pet Shop, which you could then customize. There was pet customization and minigames and everything. I remember playing it much more than the Gameloft game as a kid

I had the LPS PDA as a kid. I remember I used to chew on the stylus lol

  • @flanthief

Fun fact, whatever sound library the LPS 2008 wii game used, The Eric Andre show also used.

  • @pepdog1

One of the most fun things about playing the LPS Wii/PC game as a kid was that you could control the pet with both the wasd keys and the arrow keys. at the same time.
