What you said about dehydration is so true. As I’ve gotten older (63), there have been a couple times when I’m traveling where I’ve woken up feeling awful with a headache and nausea. After I’ve had some coffee and a good bit of water I felt better. Also, your milk glass collection is beautiful!
My Travelon purses come with a built in "leash" that has a lobster clasp on the end. You could hook your glasses case to that clasp before tucking the case inside your purse to ensure you don't drop your case or leave it behind on a dining table or store counter. I don't carry my keys when traveling, but they are another use for that "leash" when I am closer to home.
Yes, I'd like to hear about your fitness journey, your skin cancer situation, and any advice for treating plantar fasciitis. Thank you. I enjoy your videos and your cute little giggle.
I love your videos. As a (relatively new) travel agent, my own traveling has ramped up, and I appreciate you reviewing everything so I don't have to! Also, I just turned 60 and am determined to stay in shape so I can keep traveling. I love my walking pad and standing desk - total gamechanger for getting my steps in. My walking pad keeps track of steps, distance and minutes walked. On my iPhone health app, I can "add data", and manually add the steps and distance that my watch doesn't pick up on from walking at my desk.
I love a Pacsafe bag, I've got a small backpack as I can't carry cross body. With the walking pad, or the standing desk in general, my physio (physical) therapist suggest no more than 30mins, as movement is the key to heathy desk habits. I have a desk that I can use standing or sitting.
I was given some advice re keeping hydrated while on a group charity hike on the Great Wall of China by the group leader. She advised that after breakfast we should all drink a bottle of water with a satchet/tablet of electrolytes. She said it would help keep us hydrated. So now my whole family does this when on holiday, works a treat.
Good information for the fit bit watch.. i need to get out and walk. Been to busy taking care of my husband since his surgery. One down and two more to go. Enjoy your videos and great tips.
I love doing tours and I say to friends that go with me is that I train for the trips. I get out and walk a bunch at home around the neighborhood and it the summer I went to the gym after a 12 hour shift. Great video
Maybe the D ring on the glasses case is to hang on a chain around your neck? I know I need my glasses so regularly to check directions or messages on the phone, read menus or maps etc that sometimes I could do with having them outside the actual bag! 😂 I often put them on my head or in a chest pocket and then they fall off when I move, so this could be a useful function.
I seriously hate having to get my readers out every time I want them. Instead, I had glasses made by my optometrist. They're clear glass on top with a bifocal. I don't wear them all the time, but boy are they convenient when shopping or visiting museums. I also have bifocal sunglasses. They were $6 at Walmart with safety glasses. I love your tinted lip balm suggestion. I found one with SPF 30.
Another great video! I was thinking that your wallet, put in the outside pocket of the Pacsafe purse, might be easy for pickpockets to pull out without you feeling it. (Maybe that pocket also locks closed by a zipper lock?) If it's easier for you to get to, it might be easier for a pickpocketer to get to too.
Wishing you all the best for your skin cancer treatment ❤ Thank you for another great video. I have bought a few products, such as the water bottle, based on your recommendations and I’m very happy with them so far 👍👍 Unfortunately I couldn’t purchase them via the links as I live in Spain and the links are to US Amazon 🙁 so I wasn’t able to use your sponsored links or find all the products I wanted in my location, but I really appreciate the recommendations! I can’t wait for the announcement this week, and Yes Please to fitness tips. I am in cancer treatment for metastatic breast cancer (it’s in all my bones and bone marrow and now in my lungs too) and my fitness varies wildly from being able to do 15000 steps per day to not being able to get out of bed for 4 months so I am never quite able to maintain a consistent fitness level throughout the year so I am open to all tips for improving fitness levels! 😊❤
Will love to follow your trip ready 'program.' This last month I twisted my left knee at pickleball, I just started to walk again and I have 35 days to fly away to Portugal. I will be using a Sherpani Vale for my personal item. 🎒✈️
For sunscreen, I use Sun Bum Clear Zinc cream 1oz. I trust an excellent vegan and reef-friendly cream, even though some people will say it is a bit messier than a stick. It is the only way for me to avoid sun damage and skin cancer. Could you review hats for travel? I am always on the hunt for a good one. Thank you.
I would be so uncomfortable having my phone and wallet in an unzipped exterior pocket. I can picture them either falling out, or an easy target for pick pockets. I usually carry my phone on a leather lanyard around my neck. It makes it easy to find, easy to use to grab a picture. And I don't have to rummage in a bag for it. My wallet (similar in style to yours) is either in the interior or on the lanyard. However, I also use my smart phone to do a lot of payments in countries where that is a common practice. So less need for cash. Obviously doesn't work everywhere.
Looks like the red one isn't available, but many of the other colors are... I've updated the link with the pretty blue one my Mom got earlier this summer. Thanks for the head's up!! 😊
Never use a brightly coloured wallet positioned on the outside of a bag in a non zipped section. Pickpockets are rife particularly in Europe and they will see that and your phone as easy pickings. Not something you ought to be recommending. 😮

My Outdoor Research jacket packs smaller as well as a cute cat umbrella which never leaves my purse. Thanks for good content.

Thank you for the advice on the walking pad... I have been thinking of getting one too..love this video. Yes on what you are doing for fitness ...
Yes on a fitness journey video! I’m also pursuing a healthier lifestyle.
I use Sun Bum tinted lip balm with SPF- please don’t forget to protect your lips from the sun as well☺️
I use Ultra Violette tinted lip balm with SPF50, I second this 👍👍 The Ultra Violette is expensive but there are not many options in my region.
I just purchased some insect repellent wipes for our trip to Peru. They will be easy to put in my day bag AND don't count as a liquid for TSA.
I love a Pacsafe bag, I've got a small backpack as I can't carry cross body.

Love the double glasses holder!! Just ordered one.

Good idea!! Usually at least one pair of glasses, either sun or reading, are on top of my head 😂
Thanks for this video content, especially with upcoming air travel. 😊

The outside zipper on that smaller pocket does lock, both zippers have the ability to lock 😊

Yes! Fitness video
Good video but I'm very surprised that you said you would put your wallet in the outside pocket - are you not afraid of pickpockets when you travel?

Good job. Please when travelling to europe do the immigration ask for how much money the person is holding?
D ring on glass case, clip your keys on it.
I wouldn’t leave my wallet on the outside of my purse.
Where can I get the rain jacket?
apple watch counts everything the pad itself counts. workout set to indoor walk
Yes, my Apple Watch keeps me fit.
I can never get blister pads to stay on. Tips???
How do you get rid of the plastic taste out your bottle? I have used a sterilizer and it still tastes bad
I don't really notice any overly plastic taste. I do use Dawn Platinum dish soap, so maybe that helps get rid of the taste??
I find, if the plastic bottle is left out in the sun even for few minutes, the water taste is affected.
Packable jacket not available????
Looks like the red one isn't available, but many of the other colors are... I've updated the link with the pretty blue one my Mom got earlier this summer. Thanks for the head's up!! 😊
That might be the wrong link for the wrist bands
Thank you for letting me know, I've corrected it!! Sorry 😞
