Question: wearing compression socks (for long-haul fligt_ that show in, say, joggers. Don't want to wear wide-leg pants that drag on the floor, especially bathroom floors.
My style these days is simple, neat and comfortable. My husband and I are planning a trip to Australia next spring and my capsule wardrobe will be a mix of blue tops paired with neutral bottoms. I don’t own any heels. After plantar fasciitis and inflammation in my feet, I am all about cute and comfortable. Sneakers, flats, and sandals. Have you tried Vionic sandals? They have a lot of cute styles that are still comfortable to walk in and dress up or down. 😊
Skechers sandals have been a lifesaver for me. I have so many different styles, colors, and designs. I can't praise them enough. I wear sneakers in the airport and pack the sandals and would wear the sneakers if I had to go hiking.
Arcopedico or other medicinal shoes are perfect for me as I travel a lot and I have 55 years old. All orthopedic shoes are stable confortable and versatil.
Love those grey pants on you. Straight leg style for me too and also comfy. We don’t need to bring much so it’s worth investing in modern mix and match. 👏🇦🇺
Vionic shoes! They are pricier, but SOOOOO worth it. Great style, great comfort, they have water resistant styles. Invest in some and I promise you won't regret it.
Hello, Christi - fun and sassy lady! ❤ Greetings from upper left USA. I'm right there with you on the shoes and the minimal jewelry. Thank you for introducing me to Hey Dude shoes! Love them for their youthful style, yet they have the ability to accommodate a slim orthotic insert.😅 For more supportive but still kind of stylish shoes, my go to for several years have been Vionic or Clarks. But... they lean a little more classic (ahem - maybe more frumpy) if you're not careful how you style them. They are a supportive yet fairly stylish alternative if you know you will be doing a LOT of walking on your vacation (think 5+ miles a day).
SHOES: Check out Vavaia shoes! especially the Walkers. SO comfy. So many styles. I've been living in Skecher slides since forever, and my Vivaia are so comfy, I forget to take them off. They are washable!
I love the slim fit CRZ yoga pants that you recommended. They are so comfortable and look really nice. I sized up at your suggestion and they are perfect. I now own 3 pair! Thank you!
Thank you so much for all of your vids! I love your style and positive vibe, you're awesome! Btw that black&white flowery dress looks amazing and very refreshing on you
I'm artsy, bold, eclectic, comfortable and sometimes also classic. And it's the shoes, isn't it? I always say i dont want to make a travel decision based on how my feet feel, so always comfirt first, but dang we just want to be cute, too. Currently shopping for a retro style tennie for longer walking. 😊❤
I've been struggling with style vs substance on footwear forever, I've had arthritis since I was 15! Going to Dr Martens this year, while I love my Fitflops, again either too smart or casual. Great video :)
For sandals, are you familiar with the brand Jambu? I have a pair that I always get compliments on. I don’t think that style is made anymore, but Amazon has a lot of similar ones. I prefer my toes covered, and they make lots of really cute options. They’re sporty and casual but many could be worn out to dinner.
I love your videos and I notice that you are looking more and more confident! Anyhow, I have a suggestion about shoes, I just got Teva’s Tirra in white/off white and they look pretty good with a dress…
I have a pair in Aragon which is a peachy orange that is oddly neutral and goes with everything. They are like tennis shoes. I can walk miles in them. I wore them in Thailand for 3 weeks, rain and shine.
I get that Rothy's are expensive shoes, but they put up with a lot of abuse, don't wear out, don't need to be broken in, and you can just toss them in the washer to get them clean (do NOT put them in the dryer! They are woven from thread made from marine plastic, after all). I walked for miles and miles in Dublin and didn’t have any problems. Best shoes.
I have planters Fasciitis. I wear clarks sandals and sketchers tennis shoes. I get my tennis shoes in all black, so i can wear them with dresser outfits. I cant wear flats or heels anymore. Danskin shoes are also comfy. I dont like wearing accessories and things around my neck. No rings, watches or necklace. I only wear scarfs if its cold.
Try the teva Tierra in the color Aragon. More neutral orange/peach color that goes with everything. I love mine and have been so surprised at how the color works with everything.
My body type is Humpty Dumpty. I’m fat, like an egg with legs. When traveling to warmer climates, I tend to stick to tees that show a small amount of cleavage and linen shorts. I like t-shirt dresses as well. As far as shoes go, Skechers are my go to. I have serious knee issues, and I could go all day in my Skechers.
I do tours. I was on a tour in Italy and there was a couple from Florida who wore jackets and flip flops and went into churches and the Vatican in flip flops

I would like to know the answer to this Q Aldo, as I wear compression socks too. Ugly, but necessary

Enjoy your trip to Australia. From an Aussie.
Hello from Australia 😊🇦🇺. I hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy your holiday here!
@ Thank you! We’re looking forward to visiting your beautiful country. 😊
I too am looking for a travel sandal that is comfy but cute.

Birkenstock EVA for water/pool shoes and dinner out shoes in warm weather depending on the color you get them in
My Taos sneakers fill the bill for me. Supportive and they come in every color I could want. I also like their sandals!
I love that colour of blue on you it really makes your eyes pop. ❤
The length on your dresses is so flattering on you.
I love you're videos. I will be going to Ireland this fall. Looking forward to your videos from that trip.

Not the sneaker

I’m going to Japan in late October, so would love to see fall clothes suggestions. Love your Japan trip videos!

Eco sandalen are comfy and stylish
I'm 56. I just bought a pair of earrings that are flip flops! But my 3 words are sporty, casual and fun
I love that!!
Merrell makes some really cute comfortable strappy sandals. Took to Europe on hikes, dinner you name it.

How about a Reef sandal for both hiking and dress? They really have stepped up their style game
I love your videos and I notice that you are looking more and more confident!

I just discovered Altra shoes and they are awesome! They will be coming with me to Tokyo in a few weeks.
Sneaker adidas super stars, sandals Burkenstocks and then I have a pair of ”leather” Chelsea rain boots
Great ideas & looks sis!❤

I keep looking at these but wasn't sure they lived up to the hype. I think I'll try some.

What bra do you wear under your deep vee and crossover tops & dresses? I find the comfortable bras tend to come up too high in the front.
The wrap dress is currently unavailable on Amazon. Too bad..
I always bring too much jewelry and I end up wearing the same jewelry the hole vacation. I really need to work on that 😩
I take pics of my outfit combos with my jewelry to plans and minimize pieces.
Do you recommend a travel steamer for steaming clothes.
Fyi, cannot take steamers on cruises.
I love my iSteam from Amazon
