- We shot footage of these guy's about a year ago. They have grown and made a lot of progress since a year ago and we thought we would break into the Synthesis Vault to bring you another live video from DGD at the Boardwalk in Sac Town California.

So good. I miss old Dance Gavin Dance. I still hold this EP to be one of their best albums.
why is a live video from 9 years ago better quality and sound than any other video on here of them performing

hes been singing since he could speak i imagine, said he listened to alot of the rat pack and the CLASSIC singers, singing like them, starting singing in rock bands, and got epic.
i fucken love matt mingus, the drummer, i shook his hand, had a short conversation, and then he signed my shirt last week in fresno =]
even though he is like dragging his words at the end, (maybe really tired) but still if you listen to it a couple times it just sounds amazing, :D

agreed. It honestly makes me sad. His voice clearly changed at years of touring and I'm sure the drugs didn't help.

@ckrustin If there was an award for most improved screamer of the Year. Jon Mess deserves it cause his screams recently an on DBM2 are vastly Improved.

damn these songs are awesome but the new emarosa is awesome too. i met jonny when he came to dallas he is an awesome humble person and to me no one can top his emotion when he is singin live

Wow, that guy can SING!
I understand that using falsetto doesn't make someone anymore or less of a vocalist but my point is that there are some notes Jonny can't hit without it... Anthony on the other hand can hit pretty much anything he wants to... I'm sure there are people better than Anthony, but certainly not in this style of music.
Anthony does the cracking on purpose... he's always brought his voice right to the edge of a scream, and I think it's awesome that he puts so much energy into his vocals.
I met him during emarosas signing at warped and he was a pretty chill guy. He's just a little hard to talk to and his ego is very prevalent
Jonny's and johns voice contrast so good. now dgd just sounds like any other post-hard core band.

Naw Jonny is a good guy hear both sides. The new band he is in is so sick. We will get live footage soon. but yeah he is a good guy.

not just his vocals, he also gets tired and sick often! as much as id love to scream in a band, i dont think it would be to fun often doing it while sick or super tired after a song or 2
he wasnt with a skylit drive he just filled in vocals for them on tour for a lil bit

@shivi1234 Most downloaded because before Kurt came DGD really wasn't as big as it is now. I mean I love DGD, I listened to them when Johnny was there, but it's true. ALot of people who listened to DGD stumbled across them on accident.

@Maxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxim na dude Alvaro who is now in Twenty Days With Julian wrote the guitar parts with will. Sean didnt join until 2006 and they already wrote everything and released it in 2005.
