the best take on conservative tv shows is that they have big talk about being controversial..... but a lot of adult tv shows on regular networks are way more offensive regularly than these shows. Conservative cartoons are just weird avenues to vent about issues that don't exist
My personal theory for why most of conservative cartoons suck is bc they always punch down not up, comedy is always better and more relatable when you are punching up
If I had to guess, comedy is best produced from a point of pain, if your fighting for the establishment/the current way things are, you are statisitcally less likely to have problems in your life, as you are fighting against change
I’d say it’s the issue that conservative “comedy” has in that they get furious and angry and have to start complaining about what ever issue annoys them before they even get to the punchline.
@Samkainsta Yes, the left loves to invent problems on their head that don’t exist and imagine themselves as this moral crusader fighting against a boogeymen. You’re not fighting for anything, you’re just inventing problems in your head and think you’re the remedy for them. You’re not improving anything, you’re doing anything meaningful in your life, you’re just drowning yourself your own fantasies and making the world dumber. My advice, act your age and grow up.
The thing about All in the Family, is that they make the father outwardly appear a bit unwise with what he says and stuff, making it part of the humor, while having some relate and agree to it ironically. As for this show, it seems the writers are unironically writing their protagonists to be conservative making them always look in the right, with the writers sorta shoving their opinion with no other dimension to it.
"The New Norm Show" looks/sounds a lot less than "All in the Family" and more like "Wait Until Your Father Gets Home" (1972-1974). When the name "Norm" comes up, I think of "Norm Peterson" of "Cheers" or the ex-CEO of Wholesome Foods, Chip Whistler of "Big City Greens."
Honestly, I'm glad it ended, because it meant the show didn't drastically decline. It was one of my most favorite shows I've ever watched, so I encourage anyone that sees this comment to please go watch it.
when will ppl figure out that u just cant make shows like south park anymore the reason south park is good is bc its been around a long time and the type of humor it has is established u just cant get away with making a new show saying problematic things and try making it funny bc it doesnt deliver the same, also people associate south park with controversial humor which it is full of but the controversial humor isnt just "yo these (insert minority) are annoying" and when i see newer cartoons try to mimic south park humor they literally just do this over and over, also in south park when they make jokes about minorities they acknowledge that it is a bad way of thinking like in the one Randy episode where he says a certain slur a lot we aren't supposed to watch him and think that he is doing a normal thing, the difference i guess is that with anti-woke cartoons it is clear that it is being written from an actual dislike of lgbtq and progressive communities where as south park only comes from a place of comedy rather than an actual dislike of entire communities
Now don't get me wrong, im not woke and don't really want to be reminded of the fact that every girl i try to pull will end up becoming trans or lesbian whenever I start talking to them. But holy shit they fumbled harder than I do
F is for Family can barely be compared to Family Guy. Family Guy isn't really about family, it's mostly just about funny jokes. F is for Family isn't really a comedy show, focusing more on the struggles of having a family.
King of the hill works because it gives a very grounded and well respectable tone to criticizing people for living life in semi delusional ways. While also making the man character funny because Hank constantly shows why you shouldn't violently be opposed to people having different view points.
What really does it for me is the fact that the show self-describes, accurately, as an "animated sitcom." The situation comedy era has been dead for a while and people have turned sitcom tropes into a meme, and yet here's the New Norm trying to revive a very dated medium, yet without the ingredient that made it successful when it was still a viable type of comedy. The interactions between the cast members and the chemistry that the actors had with each other was almost always the biggest draw of popular sitcoms. Animation, on the other hand, eliminates that, and it feels SO weird seeing animated characters in sitcom scenarios with a pre-recorded laugh track playing after every joke. It almost reminds me of the old "Triangle and Cylinder" surreal meme sitcom from back in like 2016.
You know you’re show is a 10/10 and just like South Park when you have to add a laugh track to point out where the jokes are. Thank you, New Norm, I was having alot of difficulty knowing where to laugh. Literally.
There isn't. They don't exist. Conservative shows exist solely to push a message, not to entertain. Which is ironically what the right accuses the left of doing.

@Samkainsta that’s kind of what I meant, they fight for nothing, they just push back
@Samkainsta Yes, the left loves to invent problems on their head that don’t exist and imagine themselves as this moral crusader fighting against a boogeymen. You’re not fighting for anything, you’re just inventing problems in your head and think you’re the remedy for them. You’re not improving anything, you’re doing anything meaningful in your life, you’re just drowning yourself your own fantasies and making the world dumber.
My advice, act your age and grow up.
@Samkainsta 'fighting for change', 'change' isn't always for the better tbh
This show is a psyop to make everyone agree on something
"Woke" is just a substitute for whatever slur they want to use. In this case, the F and T slurs.
Why does this exist

The thing about All in the Family, is that they make the father outwardly appear a bit unwise with what he says and stuff, making it part of the humor, while having some relate and agree to it ironically. As for this show, it seems the writers are unironically writing their protagonists to be conservative making them always look in the right, with the writers sorta shoving their opinion with no other dimension to it.
Notice how New Norm has no humor, much like how the PS5 has no games
0:11 Wtf was that pre made stock fade in and out transition, even the audio awkwardly cut off 😭
"The New Norm Show" looks/sounds a lot less than "All in the Family" and more like "Wait Until Your Father Gets Home" (1972-1974). When the name "Norm" comes up, I think of "Norm Peterson" of "Cheers" or the ex-CEO of Wholesome Foods, Chip Whistler of "Big City Greens."

The editor is right, f is for family is a peak show and I'm truly more depressed over it ending than I was with breaking bad

But holy shit they fumbled harder than I do
mhm
F is for Family can barely be compared to Family Guy. Family Guy isn't really about family, it's mostly just about funny jokes. F is for Family isn't really a comedy show, focusing more on the struggles of having a family.
What's with the 2010 anthony padilla cut???
King of the hill works because it gives a very grounded and well respectable tone to criticizing people for living life in semi delusional ways. While also making the man character funny because Hank constantly shows why you shouldn't violently be opposed to people having different view points.
11:00 inflation is not pyro only attraction.
"Hes on house arrest for being too offensive at his daughters school" sounds like, REALLY bad out of context
You know you’re show is a 10/10 and just like South Park when you have to add a laugh track to point out where the jokes are. Thank you, New Norm, I was having alot of difficulty knowing where to laugh. Literally.
"I just think overall it's amazing that they said legalise humor then made a show without any"🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣

It's All In The Family, but really really bad.
You have the wall of trump supporters and you got the pride people. I’m living in the void under those bloody walls.
i dont think there is any well done, self-aware conservative cartoon
There isn't. They don't exist. Conservative shows exist solely to push a message, not to entertain. Which is ironically what the right accuses the left of doing.
american conservatives doesn’t knows how to do art
@@danielv261art is by nature anti-conservative, that's why they specifically need to create "anti-woke art" which in practice are simply copies of other works of art, distorted to adapt to their ideologies
2:20 Dude didn't go over it but those review blurbs...
1. The fine print says Bill Maher was reviewing a _different show_
2. They used a Twitter screencap to be like 'Ooh, guys, Dave Rubin follows us!' like he's anybody outside of conservative talk-show circles.
3. Larry's a voice actor on the show. He has to talk it up to keep the money from the job flowing.
4. That's Kevin Sorbo, not a "TV & film star".
