This reminds me of when I was trying to find a really good flashlight and ended up on a passionate and supportive flashlight subreddit. They had a recommendation for everyone, in a neat organized list. I love niche reddit and hd futanari gifs
That's awesome
@AndrewRousso oh yeah especially the HD ones
Real talk though man if you do read this, thank you so much for the videos you phenomenal fuck; you're half-single-handedly saving short-form comedy with your consistently solid shit; so it's good to see the world ain't sleeping on it. If reddit ever dies, this is how I want to remember it.
Reddit kinda already died, a whole bunch of ppl left, over controversy. It sucks. But I found my ppl over on the alternatives. However some burnt down the road behind them, deleting all their messages & posts. So reddit is now a large % ghost town. And what sucks is, on the alternative websites there just simply isn't enough ppl to start a maple syrup focused community, not ever videogame communities. we're in grim times in deed.
@@xhbirohx2214 For as much as I would've liked people to have actually left reddit, not many people did permenently. I myself ditched for a solid week or two when third party apps were banned. I came back after trying Alternatives and finding them as unfortunately lacking as you mentioned. Nowadays unless your hyper niche topic happened to have been written by one of the deleters before reddit stopped letting people delete, all the data is there. The people still haven't left either. If you hate reddit and refuse to return I get it. Long term though reddit hasn't actually changed much, besides more ads of course.

That's the real twist, a surprising amount of the time subreddits are an echo chamber of people who don't know what they are talking about.

DIIIIAAAAANNEEEEEE
Those 3 minutes and 33 seconds felt like a 3 hour feature film. Thanks Andrew for sharing your talents! You must have great team with you too.
I don't think I've ever connected to something emotionally as intensely and personally as I have with this video.
He doesn't have a team
Dude, he always has like 5 people in his skits. That's a pretty big team.@@SonyaBladesBooty
yet it felt like half a minute, it went by so quick
Lol our attention spans are becoming nonexistent lmao; pretty soon we’ll all be watching 15 second commercials for entertainment;
I’m not very emotional, but I found myself almost tearing up while watching this-it’s an entirely new realm of relatability. I thought something was wrong with me but then came to the comments and saw so many others reacted the same. This really was a masterpiece. I don’t think I’ve related this deeply with a piece of content ever lmao. Well done.
Well said. I was pretty invested in the resolution at the end and it surprised me how much it felt like I was watching a well written time travel movie.
Andrew is something else.
it's a nice video but no, tearing up from something like this is not normal lol
@@ts4gv that all depends, bro. Someone could be depressed, looking for some sort of solidarity in the world and empathize or identify with the character, and finally find peace in their day.
Someone else could simply be shocked by the intelligent writing and feel comfort in the fact that other people still care about producing good funny thoughtful content, and have a moment of hope for the world of art, or maybe even just be happy that someone who they enjoy watching is still working really hard to make them happy and connect with them through their art.
You never know. Can’t really say it isn’t normal. It isn’t _everyone_ who will react by feeling something, but it’s “normal” in the sense that it isn’t *not* normal. A surprisingly large amount of people react emotionally to the simplest of seemingly pointless short poetry or a painting with only one color, maybe even a smile from a stranger on the bus.
It’s completely “normal” to feel a brief welling up in appreciation for someone’s work which they obviously care about.
P.S. This is coming from someone who is science minded before all else. I don’t make decisions hard on emotion if I can help it, I definitely don’t vote with my emotions or have a short fuse or anything like that.
I just think it’s important not to dismiss someone who legitimately reached out to another human with care.
He made you tear up over maple syrup…let that sink in….the man that brought us Timmy……such talent

This reminds me of the time I got really deep in thought with this guy in a subnautica subreddit thread. He basically said that life is so random, and it will only get worse, and then I told him that people like him are the people who I appreciate the most, since they already have the experience that I will get, and it gives me resilience just knowing what’s going to happen next. Man, this got me right in the heart. I couldnt even laugh I was just so engaged in how relatable this was. I cannot begin to express how many niche or sometimes humiliating or difficult questions I had that a random reddit thread solved for me.
There really is nothing like getting answers from real people who have all gone through the same things you have, giving sometimes tough but genuine advice about the smallest and biggest problems.
Now I always go to reddit first with questions, because I know I'm going to get something real.
The ability to all of this by yourself, or all of the parts yourself and put it together I think is the best, you do such a great job at this, I love your work, honestly you make such enjoyable content. Thank you

I love knowing that if I'm every in need of a hyper-specific answer to a question there's likely a subreddit with 30 active members who can answer my question from 8 years ago.
Unless somebody asks that same question, then responds to their own comment with "Nevermind, I figured it out!" without ever saying what they did.

Is it because they are so obscure that's why the members are civil.
Or are the members too civil that's why they stay obscure?
I'm always fascinated about social media communities that are way too "peaceful" to be part of the internet.
It's usually because the communities have good moderators. God bless those internet janitors.
if it's niche, you have to care to find it
once you care, you're already motivated to be kind
a space that is easy to enter is also easy to enter for people that are apathetic (which is the fundamental quality required to be a shitbag)
The internet back in the day was like this if you visited forums. I'm talking like 2000-2006

I know there's the whole meme of "redditor" but dude reddits one of the most helpful things to come out of the internet, like if i ever want an opinion of a person, i just add reddit to the end of my question and 8/10 times i get better more a straightforward and honest answers from the results then i do from anywhere else
tbf this is just because of web 2.0 shenanigans and google's compromised status as an index
reddit now represents most discussions that were spread out before, "official resources" online are still rare because most the quality stuff is still behind paywalls and so won't show up
you get shitty clickbait magazine articles instead

This clip really hit me in the feels and made me reflect on how quickly time passes by and how the little things in life truly do matter. It made me realize how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. That all we are is dust in the wind. It's a powerful reminder to cherish each moment and to appreciate the people and experiences in our lives because before we know it, it'll all be gone in the blink of an eye.
I never thought I'd get existential in a RUclips comment thread.
