I am assuming that there is a person playing music behind the door. Quite saddening really. One last melody, one last song to face the hordes of hell before you. But a little uplifting if you can take it that way. Beautiful music, to reflect the beauty of humanity. One last dirge for the wonder of all.
When the Empire of the Dead reached Copenhagen, it seemed to consume all except a crew of soldiers that flew the flag of Denmark that managed to escape that city that burned like a candle on a boat. But left behind was a pianist playing a final tune in the mix of flames and death.
Theres something deeply human about music in the midst of tragedy, chaos and death, something about one last attempt of calming your nerves one last chance to enjoy the art we as humans have created, from a pianist in the burning remains of a city, to the musicans on the Titanic as it is sinking. Something about it is what humanity might be all about even in the face of death itself we find something to enjoy something to dedicate ourselves to something to make life what it is, art.
I am learning piano and there is one thing about learning something, especially an instrument. It is easier to make progress if you enjoy it, me I really want to learn so it's easier (even my piano teacher and her mother agrees). If you are forced, it seems stressful, therefore it takes longer.
"One last piano play won't harm nobody eh..?" "And the piano continues echoing throughout the already burnt city of Coppenhagen in a last effort of self preservation..."
"The city is in flames, and the British will blow up anything that tries to escape this inferno. The cannibals that roam the street will consume anything that isnt already a part of the horde. There is no hope for most and they have accepted that but those who have not will attempt to escape this hell, probably in vain but if it gives them peace knowing that they tried i have nothing against them. This is my final goodbye." -Unknown, 11th of July 1815

I saw many die... it was horrifiying, we went through multiple buildings and when we reached at some kind of attic, I saw another dead body, and *a boarded up door with music inside of it, when I was about to knock on it but one of the soldiers said "Let's go quickly, you don't wanna die, do you?" and I ran... not really thinking of who was inside anymore,* going across rooftops, attics, and then we managed to reach the port, all the people were gone... and only a few bodies remained... I imagined of what happened to them... but I had to move on, we reached the port and took a boat with a cannon and 2 mini cannons on the sides, we eventually thought we would make it out here happily and relieved once we escape... but no, there was a British ship, we thought they were friendly but once they spotted us, we got confused, and then once they started firing on us, we knew they were not here to help or be friendly, we took the ship down and escaped but almost all of us died me and a few soldiers managed to escape... alive... tired... and relieved..." - *Wounded Unnamed Danish Soldier - July 7th, 1815...* (NOT CANON, DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING OF THIS SERIOUSLY!)
