Came here in full faith that he can make students understand the most feared topics, proved me right, as always.
It's the same for cuboid. The no. of pieces is same but size is proportional to original cuboid.
have you cleared cat?
Thanks for these videos. i keep watching ads in between and deliberately click on ads as a gratitude towards you!!

Sir, you made the most feared concept for me so easy! Glad I found this amazing channel!! ✨
All thanks to shweta Arora maam😊
woah !!! What a explaination!! Thank you so much sir for your efforts.
In 1 Dimension, when we are cutting then if we cut across both diagonals and one in centre gives us 6 pieces.
Sir , you explained in such a manner with lots of patience and tried hard to make us understoo d. Thanks a lot Sir. Jai hind Sir.
Sir you are working so hard for free ....hatsoff
Another way for the 1001 pieces problem could be that we approximate 1001 as 1000 and assume it to be 10*10*10 by that logic a number greater that 27 cuts and 28 cuts is the closest.
Thanks😂❤
Same for 504 pieces?
As 8×8×8=512 ; 21 cuts
And 8×8×7=488 comes out 20 cuts
So adding one more cut we can approximate 21 cuts
now this looks way much easier than ever 💥💥
Sir , you deserve huge respect 🙏
can someone pls tell me whether the playlist for dilr is still relevant for CAT 2024?
16:39 always take the closest
You made very easy to understand the cubes❤
the best teacher for cat.
How one can factorise easily?
good job sir , thank you for your effort you are putting in making these videos . helping the cat aspirants like a well wisher.

Hat’s off 🙌🏻 sir…
Thank you ❤️
Sir if i crack CAT this year, its all you🙌
While taking 6 cuts, we could have taken cuts in 6 different directions then it will be 2^6
but there are only 3 dimensions.
My doubt is each 1 in x,y,z and each 1 in mid of x-y,y-z,z-x .. as in along the diagonal
@@aur_karo_mba Usually in the questions it given that a larger cube is cut into smaller cubes or that the cuts are made parallel to the faces of the cube (at least in all the questions that I've come across). In both these cases diagonal cuts can't be made.
Agreed Bhagyashree! Thanks
Thanks for making everything so simple❣
Thank you sir for the video, it is so easy to understand from this playlist.
Awesome session.. Cristal clear concept..
if we cut x in one D , then x+1 pieces , to optimise we do x/3 cuts each in all dimensions and get (x/3+1)(x/3+1)(x/3+1) pieces
It's really crystal clear concept.
You are doing great job !
And what about you? What are you doing now?
Great 👍🏻
Sir, you are amazing!! Thank You so much
Basics are cleared !
Very helpful video. Thanks
Is this topic necessary for cat 2024?
Of course

20:07 reverse method
Sir I didn't get the concept of 'minimum number of cuts required' from the given pieces coz I started my class from LR and DI section.can u please explain its concept in the comment section ?
I feel relatable
any trick to do factorization?
Can't thank you enough. :)
very nice sir
If I didn't knew that 1001 is the multiplication of 3 consequitive prime numbers then how would I be able to find the terms possible
you have to factorise it using the conventional method....lots of videos are available
1001 is of form 6k-1, so to confirm if its not prime, take sqrt(1001), approx 30, try dividing 1001 with prime numbers below 30, 1,3,5,7: 7 you will get one, then try to factorise, you will get 143=11*13. keep doing small exercises while solving question, this is the beauty of maths.

Sir i'm finding it difficult with the min number of cuts required questions, how can we find factorization of the number in three steps only
Knowing nearest cubes will help
Are there all the videos on youtube ? is there anything extra on unacademy apart from live classes?
Huge Respect for you

Thank you dear sir 🙏🩷🧿
Sir, can these kinds of questions come for cuboid also? If so, how to tackle them?
22:41 1001=7*11*13
how to factorise in three times only ?
Very Good sir...
Thank you so much sir !!!
how did he find those factors that quickly and how to be sure that they are smallest factors?
Great!
Super human for cat aspirants
Sir but isn't there any easy steps to convert pieces into cuts... Like 1001 ka pieces is 7×11×13 how can we derive that easily... Plz tell na

Amazing explanation. Thank you so much
Sir at 18:15 ..32cuts why didn't we do 8+8+8+8=32
9×9×9×9=6561 max pieces
Sir is this wrong Or right? Nd why we didn't do it like this? Any1 can answer 🙏
Kyonki hum maximum 3 different sides se hi cut kar sakten hain...upar se neeche( verticle) left to right or we can say right to left and last horizontal ( from mid of height )( starting me jab cube ke cuts show kar rahe the dekh lo ) isliye Hume 3 factors chahiye. For example 554 hai to 5 cuts one side and 5 cuts another and 4 cuts third side.....
Sir, is this helpful for cat 2025?
Süper👍🔶
Thank you sir❤
Awesome🤓
Where are you working rn??😮
I don't know how to factorise.. im really weak at it.. what to do😢
if u get the solution for that plz let me know🙂
Can't thank you enough!
thank you!
It really feels like my father is teaching me ❤
Great lecture 👍😊
With 6 cuts we can get maximum of 42 pieces (unidentical pieces).
The formula is( n^3+5n+6)/6
Where n is number of cuts.
What is the answer if 4 number of cuts are given according to it it's 15 but in practical you can get only 14 maximum cuts. How is this possible?
The formula given by chatgpt is incorrect or there is something wrong here please help sir.
In the question pieces are not necessary to be identical is assumed.
Thanku so much sir
sir plz make sets for circular arrangement also
Thanks alot sir for such a high quality lecture!!!!+++++
Knsa iim mila bro ?
Those who didn't get for 294 pieces max. we can make 293 cut as ( pieces = Cut + 1 )
Did RODHA take any online exam for cat preparation????? plzzzz ans my question !!!!
Yes, Ravi sir takes classes on unacademy plus. You can study there😊
DONE😊😊
Sir when vedio comes in 23:30 min. There is 7*11*13 you write but they all are more than 1 difference. Thery are not closest number.
bcoz thats the only factor possible , and its the only no to get factorized by 3 prime numbers..have a look
Thank you so much sir. very helpful
Great explanation
Please make more videos..
By doing LCM , I can find many factory , how to find that unique ?
Sir is this relatable for Cat2024
Yes
Thank you sir... Keep it
Hi sir, in example 2 where 6 cuts are shown. I could have also taken (3+2+1) which would give 24 pieces. Why (2+2+2) is taken into consideration?
Okay. I got it. We are taking closest!
@@utsachatterjee no we ain't taking closest numbers to each other. Emphasise on the point that we need to make maximum number of pieces from a given number of cuts. And thus, 2+2+2 will give 27 pieces. Otherwise, it can be cut in various ways. Hope you got the point .
15:42 why 17 is divided by 3
Can anyone tell me the pattern of videos in whole LR from where to start ? Any arrangement?
Thank you much for these videos sir🙏🙏
