for the first time I'mnot able to understand you sir. maybe because you haven't posted any linear and circular arrangements video introduction. please upload the full introduction video sir. it's getting tough to understand the tricks without understanding the concept.
19:32 we can place B at 8 and C at 5 , so that 7& 6 floors below B And above C . likewise we can place b at 7 & c at 5 or b at 8 & c at 6 . why sir telling not possible by adding floor numbers?
No one is ever late it’s just the motivation that needs to be cared of,once you are ready to fight for the goal you will achieve it no matter what time it is btw CAT 2025 aspirant hope you clear it now and hopefully get a chance to meet you as my senior

In case 1 if Aand B are adjacent like A is at position 2 and B at 3 then they have neighbours 1&3 for A and 2&4 for B, after interchange A will be at position 3 and will have two new neighbours 2&4 and B will have 1&3. Sir please explain if I misunderstood the point 😅
at 14:40 for that question, what if we replace 1 and 3 ,then 1 gets new neighbour as 4,but 3 in ones previous place gets no new neighbour right??? then gap of 1 element too wont hold correct for all the numbers right???...
Yes, if you replace 1 and 3, then 1 gets a new neighbour (4), but 3 won’t have a new neighbour. The gap of 1 element only holds true if they are adjacent or is under any special case as discussed by the Respected Sir.
In point 2 and 3, instead of taking sum as constant we can also say that the two persons are equidistant from the ends (Atleast I find it more convenient)
Please help me understand the last case scenerio - number of floors below B is equal to number of floors above C..Here, B can be at 8 and C can be at 5 right, but why this not possible?
I had the exact same question, but i think the point of adding and pairing comes when the point is " Number of floors above A is equal to the number of floors below B and the number of floors on each side of A and B are equal". So then the formula will hold valid otherwise just having same floors can always be with anything when its a gap of 2n will suffice having same floors below and above.
What if A is at 1 and B is at 2 then they get interchanged then A has a new partner 3 but B doesn't have any partner?, and in the second point what if ,when A is at 3 and B is at 4 then the no. of people to the left and right of A and B are not equal?
Thank you so much for this much content. I wanted to know that we must watch the playlist in order or should take any topic and then finish it accordingly.

Hello sir, your videos are really awesome and give a good concept clarity but can you please reply if only rodha and your unacademy free sessions are enough to crack the concepts of cat?
15:10: sir by point 1, we can also conclude that there are only 2 positions 1&2 and A&B only hold 1&2 then in that case A&B will not have new neighbors. Right?
If A is at 5 and B is at 7 then only B get a new neighbour, but as per condition each of them gets exactly one new neighbour. Then what is the scenario in this case
Sir , I don't understand the third one. I repeat it three times but not understand. Plzz samjha dijiye. Ye kyu possible nhi h. Third wala. A and b aaise bhi to ho skte h. 2nd wale question ki tarah.
Because the statement says that they will get ONE NEW NEIGHBOUR but positioning them at 3rd and 5th they will get TWO NEW MEMBERS... Hope you understand?
Sir i saw your videos and i really like each and every video but sir the problem is that your accent in english when you are teaching so sir plz Dont mind but sometimes i really Dont understand
Explanation is Quite unclear, need an improvement & clarity... In the first question where they said it's a linear arrangement or 8 PPL arrangement ... But I appreciate your efforts on quants
IN CASE 1 - what if the positions of A and B are adjacent on positions 1 and 2 and A is located at 1 and B is located at 2 and when they interchange A gets a new neighbor but B gets A as its neighbor there is no new neighbor for B ?
