Brotha, where did you come from! I grew up in a suburb of Dayton Ohio, back yard garden and all. Fast forward, now I live in a ranch style apartment in the city. There's a plot of land next to my building no one is using; I got permission from my landlord to plant a small garden, so searching RUclips for ideas I came across your video; I couldn't stop watching, mouth agape and all. Lol For you to be so young and talented, Bro' I'm hooked. I probably don't have your budget but I can definitely follow scaled down ideas of yours to suit my purposes. Yeah my comment is lengthy, but to see creative, sustainable self-sufficiency from a YBM( young black man) on social media, WOW! Keep it coming, I'm following. Mike Reed.
What a great garden and landscape transformation! I particularly like your use of recycling and repurposing organic materials throughout the raised beds and hardscape. I look forward to more of your planting and yard transformations.
Hat 🎩 off! The fact that you did all yourself and recorded every single step to show us… thank you!!! Imagine a wood will be better place where every single one of us grow on our backyard…
Your plants are some of the luckiest living beings on this planet!!! Unbelievable amount of hardwork and passion just overflows through this video.. keep up the fantastic work you kind and energetic soul.. 😊 can’t wait to see you hit millions of subs 👍👍👍👍
Oh my gosh, I absolutely LOVE this! When he started working with the baby it shows the Genuine love he has for growth itself. It’s hard work in the beginning but it’s worth all the benefits and enjoyment to come. Amazing transformation! 👌👍👍
I Start this year by my Self in my own garden, my grantfather build the garden 35 years a go. Now He's gone and I'm the one who want to make this garden Green and wonderful again to make him happy, and your Videos gave me a lot of Inspiration how I want to create it!!! 💪🏽🤙🏼
Excellent job. Love everything. Just incredible. Everything ties in with your love for gardening and your beautiful baby. God bless you all. Thank you for everything.
Man i wish i had neighbors like you! As a gardener i agree grass is pointless, as a great uncle i have to keep a some grass for pools, playing and the dogs, when the family comes over (quite a lot in the summer). But as they grow up my garden grows out. I do want to garden in the front yard as well. And keep the baby involved! Well done
I just started to watch this. Love it already. I am just doing my urban garden too, I haven't slept so well for ages with lifting the soil into place! I really think that this is the solution, growing our food on our doorsteps in smaller spaces. I live in the city but I feel that does not mean necessarily that I have an urban life - my time in my garden provides me with rural living. I love the keyhole gardens too that they make in African, in Kenya - little vegetable gardens to feed the family. Thanks for sharing. Im off now to make another raised bed...
Thanks for watching. I would love to see your garden when you set it up. I think growing food in urban spaces can help reconnect people to gardening and nature. I think once we do that, then people will have more respect for the food they can purchase so easily from the stores
Glad I found your channel came here from the growing citrus in container video. This is a huge dream for me to be able to grow my own food. I only have flowers right now primarily evergreens & shrubs in 5 large gardens beds on the property which includes front & backyard. The backyard is much larger with all that grass. By the way loved that grass video 😂I only been complaining about maintaining all this grass (front yard along with side yards and backyard) & running sprinklers for 4 years. I'm over it!! My father made it look easy growing up and we had a much larger property, but he did that yard every Saturday and we had to help lol. I have a huge rose garden on the southside on the entire backyard section on the privacy gate between my neighbor with the horrible magnolia tree that fills my property with leaves what can we do right this what happens when not living in HOA. I have tried to create gardens rooms but still have all this grass. Seeing your video and actually the entire process has given me the tools I need to start growing my own food & love the chickens. There are stray cats lurking around and 3 squirrels I been fighting with. Thanks for sharing and showing us we can as well be successful at this. Just subscribed! Can you show us how to install drip system to existing sprinklers? You want believe there is 17 sprinklers for the front yard (that includes 3 on the side yard just for the grass) Thank you
Great🎉& absolutely awesome job. I’m wondering if you don’t mind me asking… what was the budget for something like that? I watch many videos. But no one really shares or talk about budgets. That is definitely something I would like to know. Pammie from Chicago Illinois
AWESOME!!!!! YOU DID THE SHIDDDD OUT OF THAT!!!!!! Hats off to you for a fantabulous finished project!!!! You have had over a year to hopefully recover, so can you come to Texas and help me with mine???? I just need a couple of days!!!😊😂
Hi love you garden I’m upstate Ny can you tell me what the black landscape cloth is made out of? Yours looks plastic the one I have is not shiny like yours I need the one you have please and thank you.
Wow! Just wow ❤ you did an amazing job and I love how you maximized your space. From watching other garden RUclipsrs, I love how I have seen multiple products and how you incorporated them into your space. That houselink is a real game changer. I cannot wait to see how your space develops throughout the years. You've given me inspiration to get started on my own space! I gotta ask though, what was the most challenging aspect of the build and what would you differently post build? You've got a loyal subscriber now 😅Love from Colorado 🏔️💜🖖🏾
Job well done! =) You accomplished a lot in just 60 days ...and I remember those baby wearing days. Have you ever tried wearing twins strapped to you while working in the yard?!? It's definitely a workout. =)
Hello, I’m new to your page. Such a beautiful garden and what a lovely transformation. I’m rebuilding my garden this year. Where did you get the pallets of soil from? Also, do you have a video listing all that you used? Thank you!
I just subscribed. Your garden teansformation is inspiring. I will also be applying your espalier method of growing fruit trees. Can you ise any kind of fruit tree or are there certain varieties that I must use? Thank you.
Why did you tear away the weed barrier? Isn’t the weed barrier able to let water pass through into the dirt beneath it? I wouldn’t trust the original dirt cuz of the bugs.
What is the structure in the back? The one with the hoselink attached. It was looking very nice. Would like to see the finish, if possible. Great work on the transformation! I'm getting ready to do the same, in the same-size space. You're an inspiration for sure. How long did it take you? 👍👍👍🪴🪴🪴
