16:30 I've shot a few matches with 223 (shot barrel and low BC bullet too), I remember a particular stage where most guys were holding edge of plate or .3-.4mils and I was holding 1.5mils. Definitely gets you to trust your wind calls rather than just going edge of plate all the time.
Great match, great video, great editing. That last double tap was insane, too bad you didn't get the points! Congrats on the new binos as well, those are nice.
Cool gun. Surprised how well it performed. Didn’t think I’d hear many impact calls when you said you were shooting a 223 out of a 16” barrel. Great work!
If the distances were split properly in adjusting the zero, for a .223 Rem gas gun I'd almost think it would be better off running a first focal plane optic like the Primary Arms ACSS .223 Rem/.308 Win DMR recticle if the wind holds and elevation are accurate enough for up to 500 yards. The only issue might be those really small plates at 500 would get you. Then again, accurate fire with .223 Rem is REALLY pushing it at 500 yards and beyond getting close to transonic or slower.
@@Womfat Thanks for the content. This past year I have been trying to learn and practice. Next season I hope to try some competitions. Alderbrook and FOD are both in my area. Keep it up.
awesome gun! bit too much scope and barrel profile IMHO - it must stay in 4 kg weight to have good shooting from stand no support. This is main advantage over prc bolt guns - it is no sense sooting no support stand or sit
Awesome video! Im getting one of these fde LPR's soon
WELCOME BACK; GREAT TO SEE YOU AND DORI BACK IN COMPETITION. LOVE THE CONTENT.

Awesome video.
Congrats Matt. Looks like a ton of fun and that .223 wow it preformed. Can’t forget Dori for the great footage. Cheers
Great video. Nice to see some thing different just for fun. Phenomenal performance, platform, and shooter. Nice job.
That match was a riot!
That's a nice build, mate.
Great squad means great times!

I’m so PO’d I missed this. Alderbrook is my “home” range and didn’t even know about it.
I almost missed it too but someone messaged me about it!

NAS3 cases seem to become the goat tbh
Noe work! People underestimate 77 grain 5.56. I've watched guys shoot 20" groups at 1000 yards from 20" AR's using slings for support, no bipods.

Another great video ! What iso tunes are you using?
They're the 3M Peltor EP-100's
How can you have a supressor in canada ?
I thought ARs were prohibited in Canada?
Matt what scope is the triggercam on?
It was filmed through a DNT “The One” 7-35x56 that I’m sort of testing out right now
