This was my first Precision Rimfire match and it was a lot of fun. A thanks to Matt and all the other competitors that answered my questions and offered ideas or equipment. Great group of people!

Great content as always Matt, the split screen is like watching the Matrix and the swinging target is Neo dodging a bullet lol.

    Kolan!!!!!
Also you must have access to a crazy number of tank traps to be able to put on a tank trap match. Cool idea!

That is a wild target. Is that a custom job or are those for sale somewhere? (colours)

      The simon says target?
      D-M Targets makes em.
I think another place called Frick metals makes them but theirs is rated for centerfire so it probably doesn’t swing as good with rimfire.

that target was made by our match director, he plasma cuts and builds all our club's targets. But you can find similar designs on the market from various target makers.

Is the scope cam focused for your Razor only? I just bought an Apex Rival x and the footage through his scope makes me nervous now lol.

The Scopemate on Brad's rifle has a worse sensor (2.7K instead of the triggercam's 4K), we did focus it in the morning but I did it quickly a bit rushed. The Rival has much better glass than is depicted in the scope footage. I've looked through the Rivals a few times

Adjust the focus wheel of the scope cam to get a clear reticle, after that, side parallax plays a very much important role to get a sharp and clear image, different range must adjust the correct parallax, otherwise, the object will be blurry while reticle remains clear though.

Thanks for the video- rant for you..
Precision Rimfire or PRS in general - the terms.. If precision is the main goal as implied by the name then wouldn't you be shooting bench or prone?
I'm of the mind that PRS should be stand for "Positional Rifle/Rimfire Shooting" or "Practical Rifle Shooting" and not Precision rifle shooting because that's what you are doing, shooting from various different positions.
Benchrest technically should be called "Precision Rifle Shooting"..as shooting prone or benchrest is the best way to achieve precision.
This has always been in the back of my head bugging me. hah Not sure who came up with that naming standard anyway!
