Oh my gosh, that is a LOVELY spot!! I'm on my annual 2-week solo camping/hiking trip in the wilds of the Weatern Cascades. I wanted to give you a hearty thank you, as I tried your fire-building method, and I have had 2 wonderful fires that I didn't have to tend every few minutes. I admit, I was skeptical at first, hooked on the old kindling-small sticks-larger sticks-then logs method. But I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you Amanda!!🎉😊

You really are very brave. That bear paused and thought about approaching you and Frank instead of instantly running away, and experience has taught me that means it may come back later. It's why I don't love tent camping alone, and why I always have bear spray strapped on when I'm hiking/fishing/camping. You never need it until that one time you do right? Such an amazing spot and another great video. ❤

On a cute note my little dog was under the covers with his head sticking out when Frank started barking so he looked at the tv and kept turning his head side to side listening to Frank. It was so darn cute. Glad you made it through the bear sighting. ❤
