I love how the interviewer referenced topics brought up in Sam’s other interviews. Dude did his homework!

I couldn’t interpret Sam’s gesture regarding Quantum computing at 8:36

I interpret that as the narrative around Quantum current progress and risk is overblown

I hope what Sam says is true regarding sharing AI models because in reality if you have a Superintelligent entity that can, say, play the stock market or to some degree predict the future, I don't think that will be shared with others. The intent is there now but time will tell how it will unfold in reality.

Sam Aliman , it's a blessing now to have you in this world. Surely we are in the Elon Musk era. It is amazing to know that Human nature is not evil as we were made to understand. True Power only comes out of caring for people

9:35 10 Years ago, I was a 'have' today I really feel like a 'have not'. By now I should have had a GPU farm crunching numbers but I don't seem have the financial backing for the research hardware and/or software or the time.

It will be great if these natural language systems do become robust. Then I can have an interesting discussion with someone, something. Its been awhile.

.Cryptic Sam Altman strikes me as being an elitist who self-identifies with the top 2% of original thinkers as he said. While being dismissive of the 98%. Sam didn't come across as one who is being entirely open in this interview and it left me feeling he isn't entirely trustworthy. Elan Musk is more my kind of guy. He has a beautiful mind. And he cares about the 98%. That characteristic makes him far more trustworthy as a visionary leader.
